Loved the location. Everything was walking distance. Everyone was very friendly. This will be the hotel I always stay at in San Antonio.

Its a beautiful hotel with beautiful views and located perfectly between the Alamo and riverwalk. Actually on the riverwalk!

I don't like having to use my keycard to get on the elevator, though I do understand and appreciate this security feature, due to the high thru traffic from the riverwalk.

Everthing was really good. We also had a nice view of the room on the Alamo.

Location

$36 per night for valet! Website advertised wireless internet, but it need to be purchased. The initial rate was reasonable, but they "nickeled and dimed" us!

Friendly bar people

Perfect view of the Riverwalk and excellent location to several downtown attractions.

Parking valets gave little direction in the very narrow hotel driveway during arrival causing a lot of confusion and frustration. Hot water in the bathroom sink was barely running and "broke loose" during our stay releasing a lot of sediment everytime it was turned on. The bathtub was extremely slippery when showering requiring a towel for traction.

So clean! Very helpful staff. I was concerned about the age of the hotel when booked but it seemed like new.

Nice location Room as expected

Parking is a hiden charge, is overpriced, and is inadequate. Elevator requires room key; room keys use old magnatic strip technloogy and don't work properly.

Great central location right on the Riverwalk. Fabulously comfortable bed, well equipped gym, rooftop pool, lovely open lobby looking out towards Riverwalk with a comfortable casual bar area (tv's at the low top tables for sports lovers), and an Einstein's Bagel store right in the lobby...and all at a great price I found online.

No convenient power sockets in the room to charge phones or plug in laptops. No (visible) tv channel guide, or hotel guide (room service or directions to pool/gym/restaurants) found in room.

Location, friendly staff, comfy/clean rooms, great price!!

It was not the hotel, but they didn't have our reservation--most likely a royal screw up from Booking.com. Apparently we were booked for Oct. 6Th check-in, out Oct. 8Th, and had been billed (and paid) for a non- show. It took a good part of our "vacation" day to get this straightened out. I had an email confirmation showing check-in of Nov. 6Th. Very frustrating to say the least. This is the first time we have used Booking.com-- not very impressive!!!!

Loved the building, location, and rooms

This is barely a "not like" but it was a LONG walk from the elevator to the room. I guess it felt like they could have done more with the awesome lobby too but my guess is being on riverwalk it serves as some sort of buffer.

We had bought a city pass, and all the attractions were so conviently located to the hotel!

Perfect location. The Alamo was directly in front of the hotel & the Riverwalk was on the back steps. It simply could not be more convenient in terms of location.

The site on the River Walk is spectacular. The availability of good restaurants and bars so close at hand was also excellent.

We feel that a hotel of your standing should have Wi-Fi available in the room as is common throughout most of the world nowadays at no extra charge. We had booked to go to San Antonio for two reasons. One was to experience the River Walk which was of course successful and two was to see the Jim Cullen jazz band at the Landing. We were very disappointed to find it was no longer there, even though much of your literature , even in the room, still refers to it. That diminishes your reputation.

I did not like the mattress. It was too hard. My last stay at the Hyatt they had the memory foam mattress which I like much better. This wa only a one night stay so not a big issue, but if I had to sleep on that mattress for a few days I would have been unhappy.

The location was great, right on the river walk, close to the Alamo and the shopping mall.

We had a room with a great view over the city. Wouldn't have liked to be in any of the rooms that looked inwards as there was no privacy in those ones, either the lifts or other inward facing rooms could see right in if the curtains were open.
