I was not too happy that the hotels parking is valet only. If you don't want to pay the $21 a day for the valet, you can park in one of the public parking lots close by, but they are not secure like the hotel's. I personally think $21 a day is a little much.
I have stayed in many hotels near bars/nightclubs, and I have never had an issue with noise drifting from those facilities to my room at night. On both nights there was so much noise coming from the small nightclub across the street, that it was hard to get any sleep.
The location had great access to the freeway, since we were doing things outside of downtown, but it was also just a short walk to the river walk and Alamo.
The staff were very polite and accommodating. The hotel and our room was very clean. The was pretty comfortable too.
The valet staff were great and very fast. When you check in, the valet staff give you a valet card, like usual, but there is a phone number on the card along with a code. When you are ready to get your vehicle, all you have to do is text the code to the number and you will receive a reply when on a wait time (usually 5 minutes) on when your car is ready. By the time you get downstairs your car is waiting on you.
