Location, inclusion of breakfast with room fee, style, and amenities. The rooms were clean and well appointed.

The only drawback to our room was that the size of the bathroom area. It was a little cramped for two people to get ready at the same time, but we worked it out.

Location and the morning breakfast was included.

The queen superior room I was in was small . There was a window but the only thing was a brick wall there was no daylight to come into the room even in the morning I had to turn on all the room lights to see.

I was seriously impressed! I never met such helpful, polite and friendly hotel stuff. Really 5 star! The location is perfect! You are on Time Square without the noise. Different subway line each end of the street. You can't wish for better. Excellent quality free wifi... And I could carry on! We were super satisfied!

The staff is outstandingly friendly and helpful. I was always greeted with my name by the people at the reception desk and the doormen were really courteous. The room was a reasonably good size, with a very comfortable bed and a good sized and modern bathroom. Excellent value for money with an unbeatable location. I have already started recommending the hotel to others!

The hallway from the reception desk to the elevator I needed to take to reach my room was dark and a bit unkept, with what seemed like duct tape holding some of the carpet on to the floor. This is the only thing that surprised me, but it certainly makes no difference to my overall excellent impression of the property.

I loved the location. Only a few steps from Times Square !! Also it was very clean and the rooms were spacious enough for a ny hotel.

The staff were fantastic very helpful and friendly they couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was included which is a bonus in New York.

The apartment is very confortable and with good decoration. The problem is decide if it's better stay and rest or go out for shoping at 5th Avenue.

I guess the breakfast could be improved with different kind of breads and with more fruits.

Stayed at The Sanctuary Hotel with two friends who were celebrating their fiftieth birthdays. The hotel is perfectly located if you are looking to stay in mid- town, offering the very best in customer service, with a friendly and informative front of house team who consistently delivered a relaxed, attentive and extremely helpful service. The rooms are very clean and well equipped with a peek a boo shower, iPod docking system and air conditioning. Enjoyed the free continental buffet breakfast and free wi-fi, two other great reasons to stay at the little gem of a hotel. 5 stars and thank you for making our trip truly memorable and look forward to staying next time we visit New York! Our room was very small. The beds were just for one person. It was dark and noisy.

Everything!! The staff were amazing!! The hotel very comfortable and clean! The location was perfect-close but quiet so you can sleep at night. The breakfast was a nice extra. Loved the roof top bar. Prices were reasonable!

Jacob the concierge was absolutely fantastic and could organize events well in advance. Staff in general were attentive and helpful. Location was fantastic; breakfast was great and the hotel was a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of Times Square.

The room sizes were quite small.

The friendliest and most helpful staff I've ever encountered, from the bellhop to Joshua, the STAR Manager, and everyone in between.

The hallways were a bit dark, which made it hard to get the key card in the door, and to find the slot to insert the card to turn on the room lights.

Staff was excellent! They were friendly, polite, responsive and professional. It was a pleasure staying there.

The staff was amazing. They went way beyond what I would normally expect from hotel staff. The concierges got us into the best restaurants, even seats at a chef's table at one of the hottest Italian restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Our ac didn't work the first couple of days. Our fault in that we didn't say anything, but as soon as they reset it, it worked great.

Very(very)small and cramped room and not cleaned well in the corners, frankly. Rooftop bar heaving, overpriced and food very mediocre. Common areas of the hotel are very dark (not quite sure why) and breakfast is a haphazard affair-something of a free-for-all.
