Location, parkimg, comfort
Too expensive for what it offers. Will not stay again.
lots to do here
Staff was so friendly ad helpful. Nice clean comfortable rooms!
Really loved the location and the kitchen facilities were ideal for a small family. Wonderful options for indoor and outdoor pool and the beach all nearby. Was peaceful and safe and great fun. Would recommend it and also visit again.
Was told we had a Queen bed and it was actually a tiny FULL size Murphy bed with a very lumpy mattress. The sofabed was equally uncomfortable. I would highly consider changing the mattresses.
Missed room being made one day
The resort was clean and had everything. Easy access into town by bus and bike. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
Although we slept fairly well, the Murphy bed and sofa bed mattresses were a little past their prime. If we were staying more than just one night, I think it might have been an issue.
Staffs are friendly and grill kitchen by the pool.
We travel with 2 young kids and this place is 2 star level not 3. Showed drainer wasn't working properly. Staffs are friendly but again 2 star level quality.
Room was not comfortable there was a Murphy bed double size and pull out coach there was only two of us in the room. Two double beds would have been better.
The view was nice. But that's about it.
Hotel did not allow bike rentals to anyone under the age of 18, which means you really can't take kids there and expect to rent bikes. Even though my son is almost 17. The wireless network was nonexistent even though I got a suite on the third floor at more than $400 a night. It's the kind of place that tells you know very easily, rather then yes we can make that work. My son and I got breakfast one morning in the restaurant and it was abysmal. He even had something floating in the milk they served.
Gorgeous view. Nice staff.
Sandpaper towels. Bring your own toiletries too. Outdoor pool needs to be heated. Very beautiful outdoor pool though.
It was so easy to walk to the beach. Room was very clean and the bathroom and kitchenette were all new. Lovely.
The food at the Sunrise room was OK. Wish they had oatmeal on the menu.
The rooms were clean and spacious. Awesome view of the ocean. Guests and staff were both very friendly. Plenty of activities available.
The Castle Grill (on-site take-out restaurant) did not have the best selection of food and their customer service was not on par with the rest of the resort. Also, no WiFi in the ocean view building we stayed in.
Location was okay
Service, no wakeup call, broken door, poor bedding, no AC, no hair dryer, 1 small soap, very small, high price,
1 block from gorgeous beach Lots of activity opportunities--close to bike path, tennis courts, basketball court, ping pong table, check out games Good layout
Needs updating--warped screen which let in mosquitoes, noisy air conditioner, shortage of electric sockets
Being close to town without the crowds. The view is spectacular! The beach is a couple steps away. They offer a discount card for special deals at local establishments.
The beds were rough. They should be replaced with Tempurpedic.
There is so much do do at this one location. Coming back from town to the room still gives families lots to do. The resort has family friendly events scheduled for every summer day. The location is beautiful and despite the older building and room everything was updated and we had the best time.
No air conditioner. One stove burner was busted. The outdoor cafe could have used a slightly larger menu. Things like balls, games, kayaks, etc that needed to be checked out or rented should have just been free. Adding a few board games to each room and putting balls & rackets in a bin near the tennis and B ball court would have helped with those great amenities.
staff location confort cleanless facilities
I felt like we were duped because on the website it appeared as if I was booking a larger room with a view of the beach. Not so. It actually faced a busy street & some giant propane tanks. Thankfully, the staff moved us to a room with a better view, but far less space. That was kind of them.
We had to check out of our room & into another to keep our "view". The screen was ripped & Mosquitos were all over our "2nd" room. They said they would send someone to fix it.... They did not. The wristband, towel & check out policies could use tweaking. Seriously, check in at 4pm & out at 10am?? That's crazy. I want to sleep in & not have housekeeping knocking @ 9 to "turn over" the room!
Our room was perfect for the two of us. Probably would have seemed small if we had a children with us. We had a nice view of the pool and the ocean in the distance. We loved being able to walk out to the ocean each day. The room was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with sturdy pots and pans and enough dishes for 4.
Rooms and staff are nice. Easy bus ($2.00) ride into town.
Please be aware there are no AC's in the rooms. Make sure you are in the building that faces the water. You will have a better breeze for the room and the fan provided helps to cool it down at night.
- Severely overpriced - Beddings and rooms completed outdated - Staff only moderately helpful
Location was excellent Fully equipped rooms Lots to see and do on the outer cape.
Not much. Not all rooms had balconies... But that wasn't important as w had small kids.
The in room refrigerator
Non air condition rooms, stained carpets, those stupid wrist bands that you had to wear while on the property, had to go to another bldg and sign out pool towels, lack of front desk help after hours the place is very run downed. You had a choice to either listen to screaming kids in the pool or roast in your non air conditioned room they upgraded the kitchenette area to make it look good but the rest of the room dates back to the 70s.
