Breakfast! A good comfortable renovated motel on the old route 66. Was very pleasantly surprized, was not expecting the warmth and friendliness with which we were recieved.
The bathroom door kept closing itself! Would not stand open.
Very clean, staff was very friendly and attentive to anything we asked for. Will definitely stay again!
The gal running it was very upbeat and helpful.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Skylight in the bathroom was pleasant in the morning. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Great overall value for a road weary traveler!
If I had been looking to swim, I would've been disappointed with the pool...it was tiny! Otherwise very satisfied.
An off the beaten path location. The owner greeted us when we arrived at about 7 pm and offered us a nice upgrade. The room was clean and fun, with bits of history throughout. She was up to greet us again for breakfast. What a delightful woman! She shared her story of building the facility with her husband "from the dirt" and made us feel like family. Since we arrived a bit late the restaurant across the street was closed, but it was a short drive across the river to Old Towne and plenty of options. We would definitely stay here again, hopefully for a longer visit.
The room was great. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We will stay at Sandia Peak on our next trip.
Clean, comfortable and the owner goes out of her way to make sure guests are happy.
Breakfast was excellent.
Air conditioning didn't work. Bed was uncomfortable.
We stayed at this hotel twice and the rooms had wonderful wood furniture which seemed manually carved. It gave the place a rustic yet elegant touch. The rooms featured large modern TV sets. Manager did her best to accommodate us during our stay.
Internet was poor sometimes.
This place is wonderful. Very well kept, and everyone is so friendly!
Cute inn, very nice owner. Good number of tv stations for a hotel room. Good sized room with dining table for 2
Shower is more like a sandblaster (and you have 2 temperature choices - scalding hot or scalding hot). The bed was not very comfortable. I wouldn't say this place is anything special - glad I got a good price for our stay!
We were greeted when we arrived at night by the wonderful owner and she greeted us for the excellent breakfast in the morning. Clean, comfortable, whimsical and a great value.
The Sandia Peak Inn is a delightful local hotel with beautifully appointed rooms, great breakfast with lots of options, comfy beds and pillows, wifi able to stream games and movies, and close enough to walk across the Rio Grande and enjoy the flavor of Old Town. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful after our long rive from Dallas.
Pool was locked and needed to get key from office rather than using guest key.
Very clean and friendly staff.
My blinds would not close all the way, so some light was let in.
Most everything was positive, from the location, to the cleanliness of the room, to the price, and especially the staff, who were very accommodating.
The only "down side" was the noise from the street at night.
Price Continental Breakfast Clean Rooms Very nice owner
Had to go into the city to get there but for the price it was worth it.
Nice and roomy. Good provide breakfast.
One night is not enough time to able stay one more night.
Room was clean, staff responded to questions
Rang office from room and phone not answered. Had to go to office.
Lovely welcome including excellent advice on where to eat.
Easy access to the highway. Room was clean and location is in a quiet area.
The room was beautiful! The staff was friendly and the breakfast bar was well maintained and stocked! Lots of choices for breakfast, too.
We went there during Balloon Fiesta 2014. Staff was very helpful and accomoding and even the place was awesome - clean and spacious rooms with early morning breakfast (4:30am fiesta special). We stayed for 4 nights and will definitely recommend it everyone. Best place with right price on route 66. Five Stars.
Good value Fo the price Comfortable beds Easy access to highways
Slow wifi Several lights didn't work
