Sandpiper Lodge - Santa Barbara    

The staff was helpful, we got an upgrade, for which we were more than happy. The room was clean, spacious.

Great place to stay, good loacation, quiet, freindly, obviously well run, with quick responses from staff for any request.

I liked the location and it was clean and very nice staff.

This was the only hotel that could accommodate our budget and number of guests. Location was good, within walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores, and laundry.

Carpet was very dirty and the kids feet all turned black from walking barefoot on the carpet. Leftover soap from previous guests in the shower. Beds and linens were basic and thin.

very quiet. We had a 2 bedroom apartment, it was pleasant and we slept well. We appreciated the complimentary breakfast, and the people at the desk were helpful.

Easy access to downtown area, clean room and very quiet! I will be staying here again soon.

Continental breakfast was a bit lacking in variety...perhaps more fruit and cereal selections could be added. Not a huge issue though!

The staff was friendly and efficient, the room clean and comfortable, the Continental breakfast excellent and all at a great price. I will definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends.

Beds were wore out. Had to change to another room for a better bed.

The location and housing type is really good. The bed is large enough for two people.

I had a doctor appointment at Sansum Clinic and the location of the Sandpiper Lodge was easy to get to the clinic and places to grab a bite to eat.

Fitness equipmnt were working and none e of the monitors in it - didnot work. The contnental breakfast included cofee and 2-3 types of muffins, nothing else- no oatmeal or eggs or any fruits

Comfortable beds, nice family unit, good pastries and coffee in AM. Also very helpful staff, especially Victor who patiently addressed our needs and quite a few phone calls.

I am a repeat customer. I have family in the area, and Sandpiper is perfect for me. I wouldn't change anything.

The facilities are very clean, it's quiet compared to other hotels I stayed. You certainly get your moneys worth. It's clean, the sheets got cleaned more than once in my 4 day stay. The breakfast is very simple but then again not too important compared to the rate of the hotel. I was very pleased.

The carpet is somewhat dated, could use update.

The bed was rock hard and we both woke up with back ache! Long way from sea-front, staff not very friendly or helpful at check in but fine on departure. Coffee and a danish is not breakfast! very poor.

The location was excellent for our needs. Close to downtown. The hotel was clean well laid out. Breakfast was included and saved us time and extra expense. Breakfast was cereal, coffee, juice and muffins/pastries. It has a nice pool and hot tub. Clean. Friendly staff. Parking. We were visiting our daughter who lives in Santa Barbara and would definitely stay here again.
