Size of Bed
The manager charged me $100 for the room key which I left in the room. I had to file a dispute with my bank to get the money back. Recommend you stay at Motel 6 next door over
THE PLACE WAS VERY CLEAN AND STAFF WAS VERY KIND.
Close to Downtown Wi-Fi Laundry Facilities
The young man in the office was most helpful. We didn't have a GPS with us, so he immediately used Map Quest to print out a map and the necessary directions for our next days trip.
Good locaton for visiting Santa Barbara (hotels are overpriced there). Rooms are clean, staff is friendly.
After checking in early Friday afternoon, I found out later that day, I was not needed on Saturday. I talked to the clerk on duty, she was very helpful in reimbursing me payment less the cleaning fee.
Room 229, very good, clean, quiet. I would stay in that room again!
Exterior does not look very attractive.
location, price, comfortable bed, quiet
internet connection was slow and sometimes non-existent.
The refrigerator wasn't cold enough even when turned to the coldest setting.
Great price and location was close to food and shops.
The noise from the freeway and the wifi was a bit slow.
Spanish language, old furniture, everything looked old,
very good price for hotel. clean and will be back for sure
We were told we needed to pay $10 more for a less noisy room
Rooms were picked up Quiet Large bed Flat screen television
No hot water Ants
Management is shady, illegal aliens get better pricing then the hard working contractors.
The hotel had a pool!
Our room had ants!
I loved the weird miss-matched furniture, the great water pressure, the comfort of the mattress, the hot tub, the pool, having a refrigerator and free wifi... Overall, I loved it.
The pool doesn't open early enough in the morning. If you are on a business trip and like to swim before work, it's not gonna happen. Also, the water is a bit too heavily chlorinated. I wish the rates were a little better. If I come back, I'd probably have to opt for the Motel 6 down the road just to save a little, even though I'd rather stay here again!
Pool and jacuzzi were nice.
The AC next room over would kick on and off all night waking us up. It was also dripping internally so it sounded as if there was a rainstorm. Rooms didn't have much soundproofing. Freeway was right there too. You heard every big truck go by.
The price is great, capable A/C and heating unit, small widescreen TV (hey, better than nothing), bed was reasonably comfortable, and geographic location is close to Santa Barbara without the premium price.
The apartment wasn't dirty, per say, but it just didn't feel totally clean like you would expect from a Holiday Inn or something. One of our towels was dirty, although the staff were happy to offer us a clean one. We noticed several "solo" ants wanting around the bathroom area. The shower was tiny - maybe 3 feet by 3 feet. Bathroom floor was tile with grout, which made me wonder what kinds of dirtiness was trapped in the grout. TV was not HD, or at least the channels were not. Location is right next to the freeway, but the sound wasn't really noticable with the windows closed. Lastly, some of the other guests were hanging out literally all day outside in the smoking area. Just seemed like weird characters to me, . Not that this is the hotel's fault, but just know it comes with the territory. In summary, this is not a great place to take your significant other for a romantic getaway, unless your girlfriend is like mine and isn't too picky. Otherwise, it's totally acceptable. I would maybe stay there again, but only because the price is nice.
Refreshing hot tub, good shower.
Truckers starting their engines very early in the morning and letting them run for ages. Nowhere handy to get a meal. Too noisy, right on the busy Route 101.
Just cheap furniture and cheap everything
It was very quiet and clean.
The knobs in the shower were old and there was no soap dish. They could use some basics.
It was a nice size room and clean. The outside seating area was a great place to enjoy and be out of the room. I bought dinner, wine, and read the Sunday paper. So that worked for me.
The instant coffee and no decaf tea. The bathroom outlet sparked when I used it.
Nice bed! Fridge in room! Good T.V. Much quieter than other local Motels.
nice price and good location to visit santa barbara
noisy, not good clean, laundry dosn't work well
