I like the idea of staying in an airstream. I liked the big bath tub. I liked the use of the bikes.
I did not like the small lounge area outside the airstream. I didn't like being that close to the noise road and all the noise from the lounge next door. I didn't care for being in that location next to the trailer park. I was under the impression it would be a little more secluded and peaceful.
Nice and clean, good location, except loud street during rush hour
Traffic too noisy, too far away from the sea and air con too noisy.
I asked to check in early, due to arriving on train, and was accommodated.
If you don't drive to Santa Barbara then getting into town is a bit of a pain. As town is 3 miles away. Used public transportation but it takes awhile to get back and forth.
The streamliner was fine, and With all necessary equipment, but a lot of ant's (in and out)
Vers noisy right next to the street.
Interior well equipped: unexpected luxury Retro look and feel
Location: next to a very busy road: the first caravan terrace is next to the pavement. No proper arrival instructions at all from booking.com: no one to greet you: our guest neighbours had to call the owner to get passcode for the airstream door Airconditioning very noisy No guest book: no tips on where to fing restaurants, sights etc We booked two airstreams and they did not put them next to each other, so we had to bother other guests by walking by many times to get from one caravan to another
the full kitchen, the outdoor area.
the space is small.
Wow what an experience, stunning Airstreams in the beautiful Santa Barbara! Slept very soundly and comfortably. The air con was much needed (as it was around 30 Celsius during our 2 night visit). We were in #1 with free-standing claw foot bath, simply wonderful and I'd definitely stay again.
The door code system caused us a few issues - we didn't receive an email with a code to access our Airstream and had a lot of trouble getting in touch with someone who could help. It's very easy to get locked out, so make friends with the neighbours incase you need to make an sos call! Apart from that we loved it :)
The experience of staying in an Airstream was fabulous. The barbecue, the beachcruisers, living outdoors, the comfort of a bed, kitchen and a bath made it to a wonderful experience. There are also nice local places such as 'Our daily bread'.
The lock had some problems, so that's why the door opened automatically in the middle of the night. Also the airco of our neighbours made a lot of noise.
Very unique experience.
A bit far from the beach area.
The idea of staying in an iconic symbol of Americana was wonderful. They were outfitted beautifully and the outside patios were a great place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. The bikes are a great bonus feature. The location provided easy access to groceries from Trader Joe's and an excellent bakery/cafe across the street @ OUR DAILY BREAD.
I would have appreciated hooks in the bathroom and a shelf by the bed. In a perfect world these would be parked somewhere with a view of the ocean or hills but overall it was a really fun experience for a weekend. I would definitely book again. We stayed in #3 but got to see #5 which is really lovely.
The experience of camping was excellent!
The more heating in the camper
The concept is great.
Bed was a little tight for two
