The price was great and breakfast was also very good.
The bathroom had a hint of a urine odor. I could hear everything outside my door including the people coming over at 1:00 and pounding on my neighbor's door. The gross lint hanging from the ceiling took the cake. Fortunately, I didn't notice it until morning otherwise I wouldn't have been able to sleep for fear of them breaking off and landing on me. It looked like someone took a broom and knocked most of them away from over the bed, but it was a pretty gross feeling to see those.
they proximity to downtown
breakfast, room and the staff.
The service people and front desk people were great.
The facility was not in good repair compared to other places we have stayed. I know this is an old place and this contributes to the appearance both with the rooms and exterior.
The stuff was extremely helpful and friendly.
The noise of the old fashioned fridge, very loud at night! The microwave should be a grill. Knife, Fork, spoon and a plate helpful. A pity that the "China" for breakfast was all steropyre. For the environmental efforts not a support.
the staff were very helpful, the room was clean & comfortable and the hotel was in a good location
nice breakfast, clean room, helpful staff
This is one of the best hotels to visit Santa Fe and they serve good breakfast.
no laundry bag
What I like is 1.great staff 2.great value 3.silent clean rooms 4.everything I needed, iron, tv, wi-fi, fridge, big comfy bed, free breakfast, the list goes on…. Breakfast:make your own waffles, toast, eggs, cereals, oatmeal, coffee, tea, juices, yogurt, apples……. excellent-free!!!!!! This is not a luxury hotel, the price is excellent for all you get, great pool, eat your free breakfast out side in the desert garden….. The staff is professional and helpful, the location has a bus stop out front, if you need a cab, call and set up a time to be picked up, hotel on main drag, but you need transportation to get to the Plaza, Sonic across the street!!!! Very helpful. Thank You Days Inn Santa Fe and the local cab company for making this "business" trip as easy as possible!! 5 stars for helpfulness
Hotel is great, read "what I like" but for travelers with no car, take the effort to use buses and call ahead to set up appointment times for cabs as the hotel is not walking distance to attractions of Santa Fe
New owners have updated this Inn. Beds were new and very comfortable after a day of prowling the Indian Market. Staff is friendly and responsive to any need. Location is away from town but the local bus stops right in front of the Inn every 15 min The grounds are very attractive and it was pleasant to sit by and use the pool. Price was wonderful.
My review was erased bu hitting Terms and Conditions, I"m not going to do it all over
It is in a good location.
This is a 1970's motel that looks like it hasn't been renovated since then. The room smelled of cleaning liquids when I arrived. Cleaning was minimal. Entry to parking lot poorly lighted at night.
Liked the courtyard area around the pool. The room faced it and was quiet.
Need more space for the breakfast area.
I was given a key to an occupied room. The room didn't have an iron. When I requested one, I was given an iron that was covered with a melted substance on the surface.
pool-area complimentary breakfast parking space
tub in the bathroom not fitted - swilly outside a lot of butts on the floor
It was quiet
I found 2 bed bugs in my bed. I've NEVER found those anywhere else in my travel history of over 60 years.
Lovely pool area. Nice landscaping
A little noisy outside the room when people were walking by
Breakfast and pool were good.
Carpets and bedding need updating.
the bed was good.
interior - dirty, broken furniture, no plug in for bed lamp. harsh light, dirty bathroom, poor cleaning service, no towels, generally run down exterior.
The location was good
The staff was rude. The shower was dirty and in ill repair. The linen was stained and tore. The door had gaping seals around it.
Nothing, it is located in a dangerous zone
I have never seen a hotel as bad as this one. I would not have stayed ther if I had had other possibility
Location was fine. Night was quiet. Bed - OK, not great. Shower was fine, lots of hot water.
Carpet was filthy and stained. Sink countertop was sticky. Chair upholstery was stained. Lamp base was full of oily fingerprints. Breakfast was minimal. Concrete entry driveway and parking area was cracked & eroded, and badly needs total replacing.
the pool, the easy access to the downtown Plaza, size of room, flat screen TV, microwave and refrigerator, the inner courtyard around pool was most pleasing!
Not a "dislike" but a request: My friend and I are 70 yrs. old. We both truly needed a "grab bar' of some sort in the tub/shower. There was nothing to hold on to for support while stepping in/out of tub. Many of us need this now!
