The kitchen, comfortable touches, double spa tub, firm mattress, loved it.
Missing good cookware and a cutting board
I loved the location, security, bed, jacuzzi & the overall ambience. Plus, the breakfast was wonderful, and the lady who served it was wonderful. She gave me a lot of friendly & useful information about santa fe.
If you had had a small sofa & tv, it would have been more comfortable & enjoyable. I would like to have a little larger kitchen- knife, a better-condition deep pan and wine glasses. In this sense, it wasn't professionally furnished.
The two things this place has going for it are the location---literally 5 minute walk to the Plaza, and price ---cheapest accommodations close to the Plaza. You also get an assigned parking space, which is a definate plus. But once you're there you won't need the car at least to access the shops, restaurants, and museums. The neighborhood was very quiet and I felt safe staying there as a solo female traveler. The unit I stayed in had a small pretty well equiped kitchen with a nice size fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were awful---old and worn out. The bathroom was decent size and clean. The wi-fi worked great.
The place is a little shabby. It had that old sort of dusty smell, which I fixed by buying flowers at the Farmer's Market. The unit was basically clean but a little dusty and rundown. It was also a little confusing as to where you're supposed to check in. There were no hangers in the closet and no wash cloths, but the towels were big and soft. If you're looking for cheap near the Plaza, this is a good option.
Nice and Quite, within walking distance to the main part of the city. Food, shops, museums and live music The rooms were large and will appointed. I didn't have the breakfasts but the room looked ok.
Exceptional location Excellent breakfast Staff always on site
I loved the room and it was so clean!!
No air conditioning and it never worked all night. I had to move out after one night, just could not take the heat. It was over 98 degrees all night and I never slept.
my room had no ac
This is an exceptional gem located right off the Plaza in a safe, quiet neighborhood. The units are older homes that appear to have been converted to rentals and have all the quirks and marks of having been lived in for many years. My casita was roomy, funky, and very well outfitted. The bed was comfortable, the bath big, and the range gas fired. Lots of original art works on the walls and plenty of character in the furnishings. Breakfast was home cooking at its best, not cookie-cutter. An extra bonus was a home cooked bar-b-que on Saturday afternoons which was free and fabulous; the big grill was right in front of the office and the slow cooking started on Fridays: incredible! Very friendly and low key staff always on site and in the neighborhood. Upkeep seemed casual, but that was part of the charm....
Great little homely apartment. Really clean, everything we needed, comfortable bed, brilliant breakfast, friendly staff, and outstanding location. Five minute walk to the plaza. Quiet street Great value for money. Would highly recommend.
staff was accomodating & friendly
we were supposed to have a cottage. ended up on a converted back porch. light fixtures in bathroom either didn't work or had missing bulbs. have pix if interested. sometimes old means quaint & sometimes it means worn out. this place qualifies for the latter.
Very nice casitas and close to plaza.
breakfast ok..expected more. Not convenient check in method.
We were given a little cottage for our stay. It was delightful equipped with two bedrooms, a living room, full kitchen, and backyard - it was almost too much space for the two of us. But considering the price of about $80 per night, it was perfect.
The only issue was that the king size bed in one of the rooms was actually two full size beds pushed together. Regarding comfort, they were just okay - but the rest of the facilities and free breakfast made up for it.
