Furishings and safety. Room was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed eating breakfast on the outside deck.
Expected fruit with breakfast but was told they had not received any this AM. The free parking was on the street with parking meters.
For an Inn I thought it was too commercial lacking a personal touch. There are steep stairs. Carpets in corridor and rooms need cleaning.
Upon check in we carried our luggage up 2 flights of stairs 2 buildings away asked for ice. never received it Asked for a recommended restaurant said high end recommended Pink Ladies don't need reservation - got there def needed a reservation!! What!
We had a very nice stay at the Savannah Bed & Breakfast Inn. The staff was friendly and the daily breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay there again in the future.
Pretty much everything! My daughter and I had never been to Savannah and we really enjoyed our trip. We had never stayed in a Bed and Breakfast before and this was a great way to start. The staff was so warm and welcoming and our room was beautiful we stayed in the main house in the Master. The breakfast was wonderful and so was the tea in the afternoon and the cookies and milk at bedtime. Loved it!!!!
Parking was a little tough if you stayed out later but that is to be expected in a city, so no fault of the B&B
Staff Ambience Ceiling Fan Breakfast
The guy clomping about all night in the room upstairs! That we could not turn the A/C completely off (fan included) Some tap fittings needed some maintenance - not a big deal but these things need to get done.
The privacy of our room, separate from the rest of the house. Bed was comfortable and enough room for two people. It really was a pleasant stay and the park was wonderful on Sunday with the symphony that night. We will return.
I have stayed in many B&B's when I travel and I always ask about the breakfast. It was a little disappointing that the food was plain. There were Eggs Benedict served the second day but I couldn't order anything but scrambled eggs. I wasn't even served the sides except for a slice of fruit. I did ask for grits both days and was not accommodated.
Everyone we met was very friendly. Both staff and guests mingled and made you feel like you were an extended family member. Breakfast was great! We enjoyed sitting on the porch eating our pancakes each morning.
The bedroom was outstanding, felt we had stepped back in time.decor was splendid.breakfast cooked fresh, chef was interested in our feedback.staff very helpful our cases were taken to our room straight away.
The key system was confusing. Perhaps a different colour could be used for each door.
gluten free breakfast
Comfortable bed and beautiful Loved "turkish room" wonderful, healthy breakfast options served on the private outdoor patio or in the elegant dining room.
For starters the staff were fantastic. The room was clean and charming. The breakfast was tasty and flaviorfull.
Can't say. It was great.
Breakfast was just wonderful and the staff was friendly and polite.
I'm a walker so I didn't mind the location, but if you don't like to walk too far the distance to all the stores and main areas of Savannah is a good mile.
Location, Afternoon pastries, staff
Cleanliness of room (carpet, bathroom - especially the floor)
Friendly staff, charming property, walking distance to everything, value to price, breakfast was yummy
The property reflected a great deal of attention to detail, large decks with small vignette seating, beautiful brick courtyard but some things need fixed. It would have been nice for the backyard ponds to have been maintained or our second floor balcony to be safe to sit at.
The difficulty in getting bags to and from room. the staircase is very narrow and difficult for mature guests. No one to help with bags. No
Lots of lovely features, nice thoughtful touches, friendly welcome
Our room although very beautiful was not very private, and guests were incoraged to take their breakfast right outside our door and windows so no chance of a lie in - we didn't choose this room and that should have been pointed out before our stay
We liked the proximity to the parts of the historical district of particular interest to us. We also liked the privacy of our room and the way the owners have decorated the interior of their B&B. Great breakfasts and a welcoming setting for a relaxing morning, afternoon, and evening. The staff is quite accommodating. Joe is a true host! Thank you!
We would have appreciated some extra blankets left in the room.
location, close to historic quarter, authentic furniture, nice patio, big room
My husband and I stayed here on our way to Raleigh. The only regret we have is we couldn't stay longer than one night. It was romantic, charming, quaint - yet with all the modern amenities. We adore this B&B!
We loved being in such a historical place in a historical city. Our room was gigantic.
My only dislike was the pillows on the bed, time to replace them!
Loved the historic old Inn, and the rooms were filled with antique furnishings. The bed was quite comfortable, loved the oriental rugs. Everything was supplied down to a shower cap. The food was absolutely scrumptious! Close to shopping and dining on the riverfront..just walked a few blocks and we were there! The Inn staff even fed our parking meter during our stay since there is no off-street parking. Nice deck outside where a table was set for breakfast in the morning. So nice!
Couldn't get the wi-fi to work on my laptop, but apparently there was a glitch which the staff was not aware of.. soon to be rectified.
The bed was too high & I had to use the stairs to get in & out I had to walk up 2 flights to get to my room
Towels and pillows could be fluffier.
Location, breakfast, wi-fi
