bed was comfortable
bathroom had long black hair on floor, mens razor shavings on shower wall, dorrito packet on floor, blood stain on duvet and dirty desk top.
the staff was exceptionally friendly & helpful
Staff was great in answering our questions, giving walking directions and making recommendations when asked. Enjoyed the location. Easy walking distance
Room and comfort of bed
Staff was very friendly & accommodating
Nothing....the front desk lady laughed at me when I stated that I needed a room close to the first floor because my wife was pregnant (3rd trimester). We ended up on the 4th floor.
We were in a non - smoking room that smelled like smoke. The a/c in our room didn't get cool enough. The room smelled old & musty.
Staff were excellent location good and overall good value for money
Room being internal with no external window was a little dark but not a huge problem
Room was great, very clean hotel
When booking through a 3rd party site, parking is $19 a day!! Unlike most hotels, internet is not included in rate, it was an additional $14 per day! Think it sneaky to charge these fees only to those who book with 3rd party sites!! They need a disclaimer on their site listing this. Also, hotel is not in the middle of historic Savannah, next time will be in the middle of it all. The difference in cost when adding everything up, is not enough to justify the Marriott
The staff was nice and helpful. The riverside terrace was enjoyable. The location, though surrounded by construction, was within walking distance of the tourist-y part of town (which is good or bad, depending on your objectives).
The hotel was very janky and run down. I cannot believe the price for the room was so high. The shower barely worked, the room itself was hideous, dingy, and outdated, as was all of the technology in the room. The wifi and parking were extra.
The view of the river was amazing and hotel was in a nice location.
indoor pool was closed at the time of my visit and parking cost extra
Good location if you like to walk.close to river walk and other attractions. Good breakfast. Great beds very clean.
Though our room sort of looked out to the river we also had a view of the dumpster and trash.for the money 268.00 wish it would have been better.
Concierge service view from room lobby bar and area
We thought the bar food was a little below average
Staff was very friendly!!
Location was poor.No one utilized the facilities. Bar tender didn't have ingredients for drinks featured on the menu. Bat closed before 11:00 on the weekend. Called for more shower gel , was told they would bring it right up- never did.there appeared to be very few people at the hotel when in fact the hotel was completely booked. Very strange considering it was Labor Day Weekend.would not recommend this hotel.
We really enjoyed our stay over Labor Day weekend. We loved the location -close enough to walk everywhere we wanted to go - but out of the crowd. Staff was friendly and professional. We had a great time watching the GA game at your bar. Good and drinks were awesome. We enjoyed the beautiful river view from our balcony. We will definitely stay with you again !
Can't think of a thing we did not like!
The bed linens were very nice and the view was great. The room was nice size and the staff was very friendly and nice. The breakfast buffet was very good and I liked being on the first floor. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
They need more light in bathroom, a small refrigerator and I dropped something on the floor and had to check under the bed linens and the floor next to the bed was very dirty.
The staff was very courteous and friendly! Hotel is in a great location!! Very close to Rivetfront street! We had a blast!
Our room was a little warm and there was a terrible view out the window.
A little to far to walk to downtown and to riverfront shops and resturants.
Friendliest staff ever. Lunch at my seminar excellent.
Nighttime noise from atrium. Unsightly rand furniture arraigned in atrium. Entrance hard to I.d. from street. People could't figure out had to take ticket to enter to check in, and parking tickets home poorly lit. Parking hard.
The room was spacious and clean. The employees were friendly and more than eager to assist us. The restaurant and bar were excellent. It was the nicest Marriott I have stayed in to date.
No fridge in room. Asked for a fridge to be delivered which didn't turn up
The decor was nice and the activities the hotel provided for the guests for the 4th of July were cool!
Did not appreciate that when we called the hotel to confirm the reservation, we were told that we could use our AAA discount when we checked in, and then when we got there, they told us that we could not use AAA because it was a holiday weekend! News flash! People usually travel during holidays! That did not sit well with me! Also! I hate having to pay extra to park my car in the hotel garage! That should be waived for guests! I think you should pay for any extra car that you travel with, but not if you have only one car!
Hotel has gone down hill so bad in last couple years- front desk clerk said several gm changes had occurred. Resturant terrible-
Convenience to downtown.
The hotel as a whole.
We enjoyed sitting by the river
Parking fees, no Internet, outdated, no meal included in hotel price, breakfast is overpriced and wasn't good at all
