I didn't like the location and I didn't like arriving there to the office finding out my room was canel without me cancling it and without me knowing it was cancel
It had 24 hours security
You have to pass a homeless shelter to use the public transportation or to get the hotel
A good value for the price but you would not want to walk around the neighborhood at night. If you're looking for a budget hotel the motel 6 three blocks away is a better option.
Would of been good to know that is was down the road from a homeless shelter making it a fairly dangerous nauborhood that I felt uncomfortable walking through.
We enjoyed the pleasant staff and cleanliness of the room and facilities! Security here was top notch!!!! After partying all night the room was comfortable and quiet to recover and get plenty of rest!!! Great location for getting around town, very centralized!!!
It is a shame that the nearby neighborhood was so trashy and inundated with so many vagrants and homeless people begging for money!!!
The staff was the best part of the stay. They provided great customer service and the hospitality was great.
The first room was not completely clean #211 I saw a roach the first night. Switched rooms after they sprayed, the next morning saw another roach in the bathroom of the room. The pics online are misrepresentation of the rooms. They are nothing like the pics. I would never stay there again in life even if I had to sleep in my car...
It is very unsafe
was unsure when i neared the location - but not a problem - homeless shelter near was fine. They had excellent security - staff was very nice and helpful. Nice room, great value for the money. I would opt to stay here again.
The wifi was not the best - poor reception - not the hotels fault.
Bathroom was not wheelchair accessible, There was beer in the fridge, The hotel staff was dishonest about the hotel room, There was one of the patrons out of his room around 6 am Sunday morning yelling threats, obscenities, vulgar words, and the hotel security didn't do anything about it. Me and my family will never stay at this hotel again, our safety was at risk and nothing was done to ensure our safety.
Staff was good
Location: It is very unsafe at night as a street away there are lot of homeless people and even drugs and all are seen
Location, near to Aquarium and Coca Cola World Staff
Location (neighborhood) Facilities, only in 30 min we need to change the room Cleanliness, the towels were dirty
The bed was massive, good security measures taken, staff were friendly.
On the same street as the hotel is the meeting place for most of Atlanta's homeless, bit difficult/unnerving trying to get through them.
The location was convenient for downtown activities The price was very good. The air worked well. The staff was friendly and helpful.
I ended up taking taxis more than normal because of the shelter around the corner. The kitchen was not stocked with any type of flatware/pans/plates so I wasn't able to cook like I expected to.
Really cheap, courteous staff, on-site security.
Homeless shelters near; pretty far from amenities; unstable WiFi.
The Price was the only good part about this hotel.
Beds still have plastic covering on them making them noisy. Room has no sound proofing, so you hear everything in every room. The location is right next to some homeless shelter and its a bad scene just outside the hotel.
Close to everything in Downtown Atlanta
The street people sleeping on the streets at night
My complaint was addressed immediately, pleasantly.
My neighbors were noisey. When I first arrived the sheets were dirty.
A security guard checks your ID when you get on the property, which makes you feel safer.
The door is hard to unlock, maybe because the locks are too old.
The room was comfortable, and the kitchenette was useful
It is located right next to a homeless shelter, so the area felt dangerous. The wifi did not work
Close to downtown
The surroundings does not seem to be safe.
- The Security staff are efficient and superb. - The maintenance staff are at alert and responsive. - Only Makda Sequoyah and Trinah are very efficient as house keepers. - The kitchen compartment of each of the rooms is okay.
- Training is essential for the house keeping staff. Besides Sequoyah and Trinah, others lack training, hence are not efficient at work. They demonstrate nonchalant attitude to work. - The Receptionists too and the lady assisting the Manager need training. Responding to guests' needs and complaints is poor and this is an area of deficiency on the part of the assisting manager. - The Manager is weak and careless about the staff's nonchalant attitude to work and guests' complaints. He covers and protects his staff unnecessarily. Training on communication skill (oral and written) is essential for the reception staff most especially for the lady assisting the manager. - The homeless shelter is an eyesore and the destitute constitute a hazard. - The online picture of the Savannah Suites is deceptive. We met a completely different design and building entirely. - Internet reception is very very poor. My laptop was not connected throughout our stay in the hotel which affected my purpose of visit to Atlanta to some extent. I complained to Sheila (assisting manager) several times but i was ignored. - The reception staff are not neat in their uniform. - There's a need for the house keepers to wear uniform and be neat. - These comments are based on our 2 weeks' experience (myself and my wife) in the Savannah Suites at 140 Pine Street, Atlanta.
To be honest there was nothing i appreciate .I am sorry .
The location . The sheets were dirty and inspite of repeated reminders no action. The room was noisy .A small movement of objects and closing and shutting of doors was heard in your room . Every night the shouting and yelling of people in the street made me feel very insecure .
