The staff was excellent, especially the front desk employee from Hawai'i and the shuttle driver from Morocco We were not able to teleport to the monuments in downtown dc and a mariachi band did not sing us sweet lullabies to sleep

We were 2 parents + 3 big children - there was room for all of us with an extra bed. Ordered well ahead of time so price was good, added a 4th night later and got a much higher price ($158). Neat loby, nice breakfast (not included). Free underground parking underneath the hotel. Public bus service ok but not great for those without a car. Breakfast not included.

One particular receptionist struck out - Tiffany Gary. She was very helpful and accomodating in using her position pro-actively in search of my wife and my choice of venues to visit. Well done Tiffany! Seemedquite expensive for the accomodation offered.

Very very helpful and nice staff on reception give you all useful information, maps, 10% discount coupon for any order (incl. breakfast) in restaurant. Big and clean rooms with spacious bed and bathroom. Just perfect location.

It was a very nice hotel. Personnel at reception very friendly and helpful. Rooms are large. Comfortable bed. Very good location. We stayed at a room that has a door to an adjoining room. Late at night the neighbors next door had their TV on very loud and we can hear it all in our room. So, our sleep was disturbed. I mentioned this at the reception desk and asked if they have a room that does not have a door to the adjoining room. They said they had few. Next time I will request one without a door to the adjoining room.

Clean. Shuttle to metro. Free parking. Shower did not have enough pressure. Not enough electrical outlets. No hook on back of bathroom door. Lighting too dim in room. Drapes on window did not provide enough privacy.

The staff at this hotel was excellent. Check in and check out were a breeze and the room was always spotless when returned for the day. Upon check in, the front desk gave us a complimentary upgrade to a room with a city view and a large jacuzzi tub. I would stay here again. The only thing we didn't like about this hotel were the pillows. They were small and not very supportive.

My dad, a wwii veteran, went to dc to view the museum, monuments, cherry trees, and meet other veterans. The Savoy Suites is all about luxury, excellent taste & style, location in the heart of Georgetown, convenience and service. The hotel definitely lives up to it's prestige reputation. The service is first rate. The bar and restaurant at the hotel, Twist, is a rare find --- great food, available and willing to help with any request, impeccable service. They wait on you hand & foot! Our server was the best. You need to use taxi or car service. No Metro, bus or local service to get here. The hotel offers free parking though if you have a rental car.

Nice - clean- loved the free parking Staff wasn't knowledgable about local area and transportation.....asked if they knew somewhere close with a happy hour-they didn't.....also, although they offered a free shuttle to a metro station, it was during limited hours and no one was able to help explain the public transportation. Once I navigated the transportation on my own, the fact that the hotel is pretty far from the major attractions wasn't a problem.

Service very friendly and helpful. Room spacious and very comfortable although a bit dated. Located in a beautiful area with many restaurants and shops, and on a direct bus line to the heart of Washington. The hotel provided free shuttle service to the nearest subway station. The plastic plants in the foyer gave a poor first impression.

I liked the room, the view, the writing facilities and the comfort. The breakfasts were good and the dining room airy and spacious. I would recommend your hotel to anyone with a conference at Georgetown University, compared to the university accommodation which is overpriced for an Emeritus Professor having to pay his own travel. I didn't like having to wait everyday until after 5.00 pm to have my room cleaned (I was last on the rota), nor being overcharged for a breakfast I did not have when I checked out (I shall be monitoring my Visa card to make sure I was reimbursed. I never received a final revised bill before I had to catch the Shuttle).

It was very convenient to the location of my meeting. The restaurant staff was very professional and attentive, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was nice, as well as the breakfast buffet selection. Why are on earth are you concerned about being "gay-friendly"? Obviously, you wouldn't want to be gay-antagonistic, but why are you singling out this particular segment of the population?
