Overall, Savoy Suites was just a beautiful place to stay; it was convenient to parking, eating, shopping and just walking around town. The staff were very friendly and helpful - always asking to help me, everywhere I went. I will stay here again! I honestly have nothing bad to say. I did not pay the parking fee, but free on the street parking was found within a block or two of the hotel. And I needed to walk my dog anyway.

It was a great value for the money, especially in an expensive city..staff were terrific. The room was comfortable and I loved the fact that there was a refrigerator.

Location Shuttle In & out parking Free Internet TV channels didn't match the card provided. Need better signage in garage - left arrow on floor at bottom of 1st ramp to indicate which way to turn to go down lower. Sign in the garage to show where the elevator is.

Location, renovated bathroom, very comfortable bed, refrigerator in the room, very nice reastaurant and bar in the lobby. Very poor breakfast for $14. But there are lots of restaurants around the hotel. Plus Whole Foods is just 2 minutes walking from hotel.

Big room with a really comfortable bed. In a nice area with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. A bit far from the main sites but in a lovely area and hotel operates a shuttle bus to the nearest metro station.

The suite was nice but the room layout could have been better. While sitting at the desk, my back was facing the TV. The refrigerator was in closet, should be out in the room. The safe was the first thing I saw when I opened the door, should be in the closet. I would like the opportunity to show the layout of my room during my stay and what I would recommend to make it more functional. The next time I am in DC I will again stay at your Hotel because I truly enjoyed my stay.

The friendliness of the staff and their desire to please. A little too far from downtown Washington for the leisure traveller. Better for business. A late check out was only 1 hr over regular and 1/2 day rate was charged for 2 hrs.little pricy but understandable.

The roominess and layout of the rooms are good, and well stocked with all the necessary amenities. Staff are friendly but a bit brisk. Noise intrusion from other rooms were unacceptable, especially through the adjoining door between suites. Pet policy also created lots of issues. On two nights I had to listen to dogs barking when left in rooms by their owners who went out for the night. Even after complaining - not much happened - and I accept that not much can be done - lest the dogs were removed from the rooms. However, at the very least I would have expected to be moved to a room not adjoining pet owners' rooms. This noise issue both relating to general noise from other rooms, and the poorly managed pet policy do not fit in with a relatively expensive and upmarket hotel. Wifi connection was also poor and internet connection was faulty for most of the time. When other patrons complained about this - they were informed by staff that if was checked by the hotel staff and fully functional. However, I can attest that it was not working. If you stand outside a room in the hallway with a laptop you will get a much better signal than inside a room far from the transmitters. Due to this I will not recommend this hotel at all.

The location was great! The hotel was in walking distance to the Georgetown shops and restaurants. The shuttle brought us the the National zoo which we then were able to take a trolley tour. I booked a room with a king size bed, when we got to the room it was with two queen beds. I called the front desk and said the hotel had no king size rooms left unless I wanted to pay another $20 for a jacuzzi. I was very upset! I was looking forward to the big bed on vacation! Staff wasn't any help in the situation.

Jordan, the receptionist on our arrival was extremely friendly and helpful. He had all the time in the world for us and not only answered our questions, but expanded on options for travel within the city and its environment. He also greeted us warmly on our return, and introduced us to our shuttle driver, who was also willing to go the extra mile. Would have preferred that the shuttle go into downtown, and/or to a connection point with a shuttle to Dulles Airport. In the grand scheme of things not much to complain about at all.
