    The staff was very helpful, and polite. The rooms were clean and safety was a number one priority, for that I am grateful. Door men were great when in need of a cab. They deserve extra pay for their added efforts in making your guest feel welcome.

    The beds were uncomfortable. Lumpy mattress and for what I paid, it was a very expensive no sleep night. Very small pillows that were overly soft. Breakfast took a while to be served.

    From the moment I checked in until I checked out my experience was wonderful! I was upgraded to a room with 2 beds at no extra charge and treated like royalty by the entire staff. The room had a great view and was large and comfortable. I have stayed at other 4 star hotels in Chicago but my experience this time was by far superior to any other. I will always use booking.com and stay at this hotel whenever I visit the beautiful city of Chicago!

    Absolutely nothing.

    Easy access in and out, great proximity to popular attractions. Very professional staff.

    Parking at hotel is over priced compared to others in the same area.

    The location can't be beat and the bed and bath are beyond comfortable.

    It's kind of expected that there should be a mirror in the bedroom area (for putting on cosmetics/doing hair while the other person is in the bathroom).

    I have stayed here twice before with excellent reviews.

    When I arrived, they no longer had my reservation on the system. It took about ten minutes for them to find it through Booking.com. Then, we finally get to our room and its a double when we reserved a King. We had to wait in line again to speak to the front desk after they didn't answer the phone. So after about a half hour of issues, we finally got a King room.

    Very clean and just second from the venue I was attending. Very friendly staff and fast and tasty roomservice.

    I would like to suggest that they put in a handlebar in the tub/ shower area and possibly a stool under the bathroom vanity.

    The hotel has a great location tucked away just north of the River on State St. The staff were extremely helpful.

    We had a very nice, remodeled room on the 16th floor!

    The only thing it would have liked was a coffee pot in our room.

    I have stayed at Hotel Sax in the past. I was so happy to see renovations going on and even better that they weren't doing them thru off business hours so as not to disrupt guests stay.

    Location and the ability to go to the towers without going outside.

    No coffee maker in the room, need for second key to elevator, cloudy water, poorly functioning toilet, mediocre exercise room and difficulty getting there via one elevator.

    Internet charge, check in issue with city tax not being included in booking.com total price. Having stayed before the hotel needs restoration, ceiling of bathroom was heavily stained for example

    Location was great so convenient. Staff couldn't be more helpful and Friendly. Check in and or was easy and really quick

    Hotel rooms had odd fittings ie upside down lampshade on one side of bed and a different one on the other. Advertised game room was closed for renovation but didn't say so on website

    The Staff at Hotel Sax was AMAZING! The best, made the whole trip even better. Very helpful, made everything so easy and worry free.

    The price of room service and no complementary Breakfast.

    The staff was very courteous and friendly.

    There was no in-room coffee maker. The bathroom had only a pedestal sink with NO counter or shelf.

    Beautiful property, very helpful staff, perfect location. Close enough to start line for the Chicago Marathon, but far enough away so that my family could escape the hotel during the race to do some sightseeing.

    Expensive... Especially the valet parking ($65/night!). No swimming pool for kids... Not a big deal, but something to note. No microwave or fridge in room... Just the honor bar. That's difficult to use for milk for a baby, or if anyone has medicine that requires refrigeration.
