The communication of the staff was horrible. The continental breakfast was honey buns and oatmeal cream pies awful.
The staff/owner there had a major communication problem. They are of Indian decent and speak or understand very little English. The continental breakfast consisted of honey buns and oatmeal cream pies.
Non-Smoking room smelled terribly of smoke. Room, especially bathroom in poor condition. Sink leaked.
The room was great. The bed was very good.
No coffee pot in room. Some of us get up early and like to have coffee. We had to wait until 7:00am to get it.
sink, tolit, tv !
Comfortable room in a location offering easy access to the entire area.
I liked everything
pool, location, hospitality
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
the staff was great very clean rooms great location easy access.
ok place for the money
Very, Very clean and well maintained. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast treats and coffee good.
Don't expect the Marriot for these prices. I didn't and was very satisfied!
I loved the lady at the desk very sweet, room was nice and clean.
the pillows were lumpy not so bad though .
Great location. Loved the little creek out back.
Very quiet and peaceful.
No wifi. Hardwire internet only. This is 2014. Who actually carries a laptop anywhere?? Breakfast consisted of Packaged Little Debbie snack cake honeybuns and oatmeal cakes and coffee. This should be advertised as free coffee, not breakfast.
size of the room, location to the valley, friendly staff.
Internet service was poor, especially the wireless. too slow. even with a the direct wire connection it was slower than normal.
Great location, friendly staff, good restaurants nearby, wifi works perfectly.
The extractor fan in the bathroom is too noisy.
Staff was very helpful with all our needs. Very nice staff at this Scottish inns our stay was great.
A comfortable, clean room; good value for the money. The Patels were friendly and attentive hosts.
No wi-fi. The wired ethernet internet access was clumsy and the newer Mac laptops don't have ethernet connections.
Room was fairly clean
Everything. When booking the room I asked for double room as I was with my 16 yr old daughter for a tour to wcu and was told only King rooms available. We were there only 1 night and no more than 4 cars in the parking lot so I'm sure there were double rooms available. Description said continental breakfast available which was a reason for booking as I knew we would be eating in a rush on the way to wcu. The breakfast was Little Debbie honey buns and oatmeal cookies. We had to stop for breakfast in the way to the college. The tv in our room didn't work. You had to manually put the tv in ch 3 before the remote would work and then after 45 mins to an hr the tv would auto turn off. The heat/ac unit didn't work, only the fan setting and it was extremely loud. The night we were there it was in the 30's and we had no heat. When the front desk was told all I think I could understand from his basic English was "I'm sorry" never offered a different room when there were plenty available. I will never stay at any Scottish Inns again and this was my first time with booking.com and I learned my lesson there too. Very deceiving.
Heater very noisy. Bathroom fan very noisy. Camode seat too small and uncomfortable. Coffee maker needed. Need lamp switch reachable from in bed.
The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was very clean. The staff was friendly. The shower was heavenly.
There was a little bit of a smell in our room -- not a smoke smell -- but I either got used to it or it dissipated.
Clean room that didn't smell
Absolutely no heat in your room when you check in. No conditioner or body wash in room. Only stinky bar soap and shampoo. But the most disappointing part of our stay was the "continental breakfast". I'm sorry but coffee and twinkee's do not count as a continental breakfast. After that I felt we paid way too much for our room.
clean rooms, comfortable beds, pleasant staff. value
crack in the window, mini honey bun extent of breakfast
