It was very close to all the main attractions within walking distance. Place was very clean and really not bad for price. Had a nice stay there.
it is pretty got spot I would said
the place could use a good make up I guess
ice machine did nt work found bugs on day of departure climbing walls
It was a place to sleep since we were away from home. Nothing more.
Rude guests, suspected possible drug dealers staying there, seemed to be a place for indigent people, would not recommend. Rude management and they seemed they could barely speak English, very hard to understand. Served only coffee, at 7 am nothing else. Office was locked after a certain hour and difficult to get attention of management.
Staff was very persistent about being out of the room at 11 AM, and even called the room to make sure I was out of there by 11 AM. The light in the bathroom didn't work. It was hard to get the lock open to get into the door/room. The place was dumpy and scary. Only good thing with the price and location.
Location, location, location. Friendly, accommodating staff.
Older hotel, but kept up and cleaned as best as can be.
ICE MACHINE BROKE MILDUE NEEDS PAINTED ALOVER
Pulled into the parking lot and the place was a dump. Street people sitting all over. This place is an eye sore to St. Augustine.
Live ins !
Great location in St Augustine. It's an older motel but the price was very good and the room was very clean and comfortable.
We were only there overnight. Not really anything to dislike.
Air condition didn't work and there was blood on comforter.
staff and general location... the ac and Wi-FI worked... the only positives for the room
1. The bathroom door would not close/lock and was literally separating (hollow core) 2. No safety lock for entrance door 3. Old and dilapidated motel 4. Tub would not drain
The room smelled like curry. The door frame was busted near the dead bolt. The room was not clean. Stains were all over the bathroom. The tub drain was stopped up. The toilet was clogged. When we got into the room there weren't any towels. I could go on...
The location was good. It was only a half mile from the historic district.
The room smells like smoke even though its a non smoking room. The bathroom was very dirty. There was no phone to call the front desk, no clock and the front door has a trick to opening it. They do not clean good. There was a broken hairbrush in the tub and a used tooth pick on the night stand. I walked in my socks to the bathroom and had pet hair all over the bottom of them when I sat back down. If we had enough money to go somewhere else we would have!
A few blocks from the Fort.
There is no swimming pool as advertised. No hot water for bathing. Dirty wash clothes No coffee
I would stay there again , for the price and location we were pleased. Staff very friendly and rooms were decent. Service very good
location close to shopping
Location and refrigerator in room.
Odor in non-smoking room was awful. Shower curtain ripped. White towels were beige. Mildew in shower. No shampoo or lotion available. No coffer or tea. No microwave. Curtains ripped. Could be great with a little overhaul.
toilet seat was loose....I almost fell off of it. Bathtub was scratched and burned from cigarettes. Carpet was dirty.
close to sights
their was people actually living there they were loud sitting outside drinking beer the towels were a joke dingy dirty and very very small even the washcloths were alful i have thrown better stuff away holes in sheets and blankets you get what you pay for was just a quicky visit to st. augustine but we lived
The location was great! Within walking distance from St. George Street.
The room was pretty out dated, the bed was like concrete, the towel bar was ripped off the wall, there was a hole in the back of the bathroom door, my window looked like someone had broken into it prior... The metal part of the screen was bent and ripped away from the window. There were long term guests that kind of hung around the parking lot which was a little weird, only because I was a solo. Also, I wasn't able to get reception to my Verizon wireless phone in my room when receiving calls or connect to the wifi.
Nearness to business meeting site.
No coffee maker in room. Noise from next door bar. Lack of confidence in room security--no security chain on door.
Location good was close to everything. Staff lady was very friendly and helpful provided us with information about the town. Loaned my wife her own hair dryer.
Not clean, old in need of renovation. No phone, no shampoo, no hair dryer, face cloths worn with holes in them, fridge set too cold all our goods froze!!! Checked out at 7am no one available at Front Desk so left after trying to contact him for 10 minutes, did not get a receipt?
No frills here, just an affordable place to stay that's close to historic downtown. The rooms were clean too.
The beds are rock hard and difficult to sleep on.
