love the staff friendly and nice
The front desk was very rude canceled arrangements even when told that it will be a late check in.
The room was actually nicer than expected
stayed 2 nights--only one bed made up between days & no new towels & trash not emptied
Very dirty and sketchy. I'm pretty sure someone overdosed during my stay. Even in an emergency, I wouldn't stay there again.
Poor location, lots of road noise and other noise audible from inside room
Very friendly, helpful staff. It's a cheap motel, but the rooms were clean and modern.
Keep in mind, I'm no hotel snob. Basically I was in the room at night to go sleep. The pool was closed and the free "breakfast" was just bread and milk but I mean come on! You won't be getting a 5 star hotel for $29 a night. If you're a hotel snob don't go here but if you want a decent motel at a great price I seriously recomend
Well, I came here for my spring break. I'm in college and don't have much money so the $29/night really called out to me. I was expecting a roach motel but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of our stay.
Bad management. Rude. Threatened to overcharge my card.
Cockroaches, leaking plumbing, stained linen
Owner and staff were terribly rude ! Asking for towels was like pulling teeth ! ROACH infested ! Shower was disgusting No wifi! And it states that there is free wifi but it's always "down" So gross we left 3 days early
The day I left
The bathroom was in a poor state and missing it's door!
Easy access from I95, great WiFi, useful breakfast. Spacious room with comfortable bed. Plenty of restaurant s nearby.
The bathroom didn't have a shower curtain and the tub was nasty
I like the location of the hotel
The entry into the Scottish Inn was a little difficult to discern. Also, proprietor was very friendly and efficient, but she had such a strong accent, I found her difficult to understand. (Note: I am hard-of-hearing.)
We liked the price and the room.
The room had one wash cloth, 2 towels. Lady at desk charged a key depoist then didn't return the depoist when we returned the key. The internet didn't work. Ice manchine was broke. Had to walk to hotel nextdoor for ice. Bathroom door didn't shut. Hair dryer didn't work.
I liked the location. The room was clean.
Roach bugs in the room, toilet would not flush,no place to hang clothes, checking in the smell in the office was bad.
Beds were comfortable and new carpet.
Not only did it have bedbugs it was complete filth! It looked like drug addicted homeless men cleaning the rooms, or so called "cleaning". When we arrived the bathroom had toilet paper in the floor and dirty toilet( disgusting) asked to have it re cleaned and it was still gross!! I was scared to sleep in the bed, had mascara marks on pillow cases and hair in the bed. This place is literally a nightmare!! Oh and I forgot, she rented us a room knowing that the heater didn't work! They had to bring us a space heater!?! Never in all my years of travel have I seen such a horrible hotel, stay away!!!
Not one single thing about this hotel is good. Including the lady owners attitude. Found bedbugs after our first night stay and she refused to refund our money, even though we brought her a bedbug in a cup to prove it. Later the health department confirmed the bugs and condemned 12 rooms, the whole entire floor!!
Would take hours!!
Management very poor. Asked for an extra suger for coffee. Manager said no, only one per day. Asked if they wouldmail a post card for me in their regular mail...no not allowed. Waled to another motel, they mailed it for me. Manager didn't seem to care at all.
one of the maintenance people got me the package of suger the manager refused me.
There were bugs everywhere. The room did not look clean
The carpet was tacky/sticky. The bathroom had two squares of tp on the roll and no spare. Roaches in the room & fridgie. After taking a shower found used washcloth hanging by the shower curtain, I don't think they even cleaned the bathroom at all between guests. The WiFi was very slow and didn't work at all for several hours. Tried talking to staff who were there, they barely spoke English. Very strong pungent odor permeating the lobby, I think it was patchouli and incense. Made it difficult to enjoy the scanty continental breakfast.
Everything, smell, dirt everywhere,
Nothing. I think that booking.com should not recommend so terribly dirty places
No WIFI Breakfast
Smell was bad not clean
Bed was awesome
Everything in the room should be in the trash. Worse place I have ever stayed. Goodwill would not take the furniture in the room. I thought the bad reviews was just people being picky....yeah right this place is a ##it hole. Do not stay here
Nothing. Was a dump
