Towels, pillowcases, & floor appeared to be unclean or dingy. Loose tiles & a bad smell in the bathroom. Cigarette burns were on the sheets. Very disappointed.
Someplace to sleep after driving all night
I've stayed in some bad $30 hotels but this one takes the cake. Just a cheap dirty old hotel. Don't expect anything more.
the pool, and the pillow. Roaches would wake u up crawling around on u. The staff was rude. The breakfast had blueberry muffins still cold from the fridge and fruit loops. That's it. That is a snack. The shower didn't work so only a bath.
Pretty much everything !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?!!!!!!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!33!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
served the purpose- but not elaborate in anyway form or fashion.
oval oversize toilet with a tiny round toliet seat that did not fit.. Toilet ran all night- would not cut off. Beds were small -not queen size as indicated on the web
Stay away roach invested
Smelled bad, staff was barely able to speak English, and our toilet handle, headboard, and bedroom light all broke in less than 2 days.
No bed bugs or roaches.
1) The fire alarm was ripped from the ceiling. 2) It took hours for the room to cool down. 3) The towels were stained, not sure if they were washed-the towels were torn and very ratty-at home I would have put them in the rag box 4) Paid for a double, had one wash cloth, one hand towel and two towels. 5) Vent in the bathroom was dirty 6) The floor around the toilet looked dirty 7) The coffee pot was dirty-It didn't feel safe to use it. I have pictures if you would like them.
The place is filled with filth and falling a part, definetly not cheap.
Everything from the front desk person understandable and not very nice.
The room was dingy and dirty, there was a hole in the bathroom wall, the towels and sheets were dirty and there was an electric socket hanging out of the wall. The picture on your website was of the Econolodge behind the Scottish Inn. I had to threaten to call the health department and fire department to get a refund on the room.
I didn't like it....I'm going to the doctor when I get bck to Athens
The filth....bed bugs
The rooms look nothing like the internet showed..dirty smelled old and musky..couldn't understand the staff.the water in the shower wouldn't cut off.
Bed was very comfortable
room was dirty and run down
We got bed bugs why we were there not very good service
Found a blunt in the air conditioner unit beds were dirty didn't like anything
Employee that I talked to was very courteous and offered a room at a nearby hotel when we decided not to stay here.
Drug deal being transacted in parking lot. Rooms were not well maintained. One of them had the towel shelf laying on the floor under the sink.
Nothing need to be renovated. ...nothing poor
The room was spacious and there was a mini-fridge and microwave.
The room was not cleaned well the first day or the second day. The towels were all stained up and dirty looking. There were obvious pieces of trash in some places where they clearly didn't look to clean, like under the sink. The shower curtain was barely hanging on and needed more rings, while the rod also needed to be tightened to the wall.
The locks on the door didn't work; they were hanging off the inside. The room was nasty. The smoke alarm was ripped off the ceiling and had no battery inside. The bathtub had mold/mildew all over it. The advertised price was not what I had to pay, and the woman at the counter was nasty about the price difference. If I hadn't been billed the outrageous amount already, I would have left. But trust me, I'm writing to the bbb about them.
Arriving at 1 am after cross county trip, I enter a room in the dark. No light switches on any walls. I have to walk to the bathroom to find a light switch. The room has an odor of mildew. The carpet is moist and sinks beneath my feet. The furnishings are aging, the bathroom fixtures stained - in need of repair. When I connect to the internet, there is none. I complain to the desk clerk, she looks into it and says she can do nothing about it. I needed to do some work online desperately. She offers to put me in the neighboring Econo Lodge (same owner) but I am too tired to move all my stuff. By now it is 3 am. I am unable to fall asleep until 5 am. I must wake up at 8 am for my daughter's graduation ceremony. In the morning, I am contacted by a manger named "Sherry", who basically speaks to me in a terse tone, telling me the wi-fi issue is with their provider, not them. When I ask for the owner/manager's contact, I am told his name is "Bob" and I can leave my name and number with him and he will contact me if he feels so inclined. Originally planned for a 3 night stay, I check out in the morning. I am then lectured by the night clerk's husband and reprimanded for having kept them awake, complaining about no wi-fi service. This place should be shut down - the room/amenities are substandard. The internet does not work. The staff are ignorant, disrespectful and do not care.
fridge was mildew.roaches in shower no remote for tv.
Staff was pleasant
Facility not well maintained. Door handle missing from bathroom. No basic toiletries. Junk and old furniture lying all around the building. Even at $50/night I would never go back. This place doesn't deserve to be listed as an option. Way Below Expectations
