the entire experience was just Wonderful.
The pillows & the beds, pillows are flat & beds are hard.
Lots to choose from and do if your here during the busy season. Unfortunately I was here in the winter but still a great place.
Can't think of anything.
Loved the room at the Driftwood building. Hot tub and pool were excellent! Staff was very helpful too. Enjoyed out stay so much, we plan on staying here again in the future!
Not a thing negative about this place!
For the money I spent,I got a room on top floor,I had excellent view over the beach and ocean .. I came very early in the morning, after driving thru the night and I wad able to check in at 7am.that was awesome...
I'm a carpet person,so I didn't like wooden floors much, don't like getting my feet cold.also. the heater, I was in the hotel for christmas, wasn't heating the room too good...
Excellent location. Elevator was fast and had to spend little time waiting on it. Room was too small and I tried to upgrade and they didn't have anything. Did allow me to check another room, although it was not suitable,I appreciated their effort.
TV was snowy (and! it was cable). They came and identified problem but told me that they could replace it but it would be a much smaller tv. This one was a small one already. Ceiling over shower looked like mold growing. Beds were old and uncomfortable. We had a smoke free room but the hallway took your breath away with smoke.
The view from the room is beautiful, this trip I had an oceanfront room but I've stayed here before and had an ocean view not front that had just as amazing of a view of the beach. I came for a dance convention so I wasn't in the room but at night and early morning so it was nice to be in a room that felt clean and had a comfortable bed to sleep in!
The wifi was pretty spotty, I'm in college so I'm that great age of using the internet any chance I get, and with the wifi it made it very difficult to keep in touch with my friends back on campus, that being said the next time I come they'll hopefully be with me so this won't be as much of an issue
this was the most dirty room I have ever stayed at. There was rodent poop inbetween the sheets. it looked like they forgot to clean the room. the pictue on line is nothing like the room i stayed at.
The price was really good.
I book a doble room with doble beds in each room with a kitchen but when I got there they give me a totally different room. A one bedroom with doble beds and a little kitchen with no sink.
beds were small and hard. pool was across the street and a five -ten minute walk. putt putt was closed for season. movie theater was closed. staff was rude. breakfast was pitiful. heater was broken
The main thing i liked was the fact they had multiple pools, hot tubs and other leisure located across the street which also was where the beach was.
The beds were hard and low to the ground, location wasnt oceanfront, buildings wasnt appealing, WiFi was poor, parking was confusing at first and the fire alarm kept going off randomly.
I loved the ocean front and how close the ocean was. every staff member was so nice and polite and helpful. And everything is in walking distance. loved our stay.
My bed closest to window was leaning to one side that was a little uncomfortable.
The view and location right on the water was number one for us. The staff was friendly and we had no problems with residents but were surprised it was not a tourist hotel..
Not even close to the photos. Building is really in need of repair. Bathrooms were dated and damaged. This is a residential hotel that was not mentioned in the description. Repairing cars in the parking lot etc. More like an apartment building but listed as a hotel.
It was very nice and clean.
We ask the staff for advice on where to go eat while on vacation they were helpful. But they needed more information. They said it was in walking distance. So my friend and I walked. Well it started raining and when we got there they were not wen open yet. That would of been nice to know before we walked about 20 minutes there and got soaked. My suggestion is before they give advice they might want to warn people that places might not open til dinner time.
very pleasant staff. The room size was good. I had two full size beds in the room.
The bathroom wasn't cleaned well. I found quite a few bugs in the room. The tv was on the wall but it was hung too low.
Rooms were clean. Putt putt Indoor pool
A lot of things closed. Arcade closed Cafe closed Hallways were dirty. Walkways were closed
Holes in the wall of the elevator, holes in the wall of our room. Room was not clean, it smelled. Bathroom was disgusting. We travel to Myrtle Beach several times a year and this is the first and only time I will ever stay here!!!
We were with another couple and suppose to have separate bed rooms, but we did not get it. Our beds were in the same room.
The price and location.
Needed cleaning.also upkeep.
We didnt like that you had to go outside to get to the heated indoor pool! Also to go to the restroom from the pool you had to go up several flights of stairs, not easy to do with a bad back! The WIFI did not work well at all! I think I actually turned mine off and got better service.
14th floor at the driftwood side view of the water.room was large enough for 2 adults and three boys. Beds were a little hard but that didn't stop us from a good night's sleep. The staff brought up cot for us to use. This resort is older so you have to expect that your room won't be perfect, this is a beach resort and they do have a lot of people that stay there. We stay there on two vacations every year. The water was nice and hot, no cold showers for us. We had a full kitchen so we cooked a couple meals in the room. Overall the resort was busy without any problems and we had a wonderful New Years Eve with the knights at Medieval times.
Parking can be a challenge when it's busy, so you might have to walk a little bit. But the Mist has many parking areas. And you have to go tho the desk tho check out, rather than phoning in and leaving your key in the room. Other than that everything else was great. We will be back in the spring.
The front desk staff was excellent, she helped me to resolve a problem with room reservation.
Some the dishes where missing. The fire alarm was to close to the stove, it kept going off.
We loved the heated indoor pool, the hot tubs, and the play castle. The pool was always clean was surprised that the indoor pool was 8 feet deep. That made the kids very happy. Also the play castle was very awesome. My 3 year old spent hours there.
The bed was the worst bed I have ever slept on. Unfortunately if it's not a comfortable bed I will not be back. The bed was so close to floor. I could feel the springs in it. And the whole frame on the floor constantly shifted. The sliding door in the room was almost impossible to open and shut. That drove my husband more crazy ťhan the bed. And the elevators smelled of urine. We try places in the winter while the price is low to see where we will stay in the summer. ....it will not be sea mist
Indoor pool and sauna
I booked this room for a young couple. Was suppose to be ocean view. They told me it wasnt. Looked at another building. Very dissatisfied.
Not at all what I booked. And pictures was nothing like there.
