Good location, helpful staff, nice and clean.
Room was a little tight for 4 adults but not really a problem as we spent most of our time in the city.
The room was clean, the location was good.
We were down in SF due to a surgery I needed. We had booked three days in case of complications and had planned to stay the entire time. However, the electricity was out on the last day and we asked to be credited one day since we could not stay in a hotel without electricity. We waited over 4 hours for the power to come back on but did not. They would not credit us even half the last day. Very aggressive greed under the circumstances!
Closeness to fishermans wharf and other destinations
The cheaper room was so tiny and on Lombard street very noisy the room was very costa phobic you couldn't open the windows because it was so noisy.
near to attractions area
Room is a bit small and limited choice for break fast
The room smells of mildew or something. Far away from everything.
Good value for money in a good location
No kettle, just a coffee maker
This motel is wonderful! It is spotlessly clean and has the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in away from home. We loved the all white linens. You will just totally love this place and how centrally located. We were here for dr. Appts at UCSF. Also we have Select Comfort beds at home and we found these beds VERY comfortable! And the free breakfast is great also. Loved the fresh fruit and Keurig coffee! Thank you so much!
There was not one thing I can say that I didn't like!
This is my "forever" place to stay in San Francisco. Highest quality linens and bath and charming, helpful, cheerful staff. All stellar! The bed was so comfy...that I couldn't wait to get back in it!!
Within walking distances to fisherman's wharf and bus services to downtown & chinatown
Friendly staff, comfortable bedding. Updated and clean. Fridge and microwave. Location close to marina and Chesnut street shopping and restaurants. Breakfast bar was convenient. Free parking.
The room was a bit small. It felt cramped for four people. The beds were only doubles, a bit small to share with another adult. No place to sit for breakfast.
Very clean and easy. Great Value for what you get.
Comfortable bedroom. Clean. Great location.
Breakfast was poor.
Comparatively cheap, good location
Bed covers and tub were dirty.
Although the motel didn't look appealing from the outside, once you get into the room you think you've stepped into a five star hotel because of the awesome bed! Front desk guy was really helpful and helped us get the room that we wanted. Short walk from the Cow Hollow shops, although we didn't really like walking around the area as it was dark, and there were homeless people around. Free parking!
WiFi was on and off. Parking was very limited though, so if you intend to drive around the city, you will probably end up with no parking if you arrive back in the evening. No place to hang our clothes.
Continental breakfast. In-room kitchenette (microwave, fridge), Neat, clean and well-furnished room. Owners were helpful and courteous.
No major issues to report. Positive far outwieghs the negative.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The bed was extremely comfortable and we enjoyed the high quality soaps and shampoos provided. It was a very enjoyable stay for the price of this motel.
The free Wi-Fi wasn't as quick as we expected. At least it was free!
the bed, the bathroom, tv and fridge
maid service didn't knock, she just came in around 945am
STAFF especially Yogi and the young man were very helpful.
Clean & super comfy bed, walking distance to Fisherman Wharf too. Not only that can walk to krissy field and huge supermarket just abt one block from the hotel too. Highly recomended. Amenities is super convenience .
Great value. Most comfortable bed ever! Very responsive staff.
Great wifi, free parking, nice and comfortable room, lots of pay TV channels, helpful staff, great proximity to public transport, within walking distance of a couple of shopping / dining strips
Breakfast of pre-packed muffins and pastries was pretty average
updated decor, clean rooms, refreshing change from standard US motel rooms that look like they are stuck in the 80s
rooms are small, parking is tight for american sized cars but im used to it so wasnt really an issue for me.
Large room. The lights in the room were excellent, the best we met during our 3 week trip in the US!
Parking was very tight Very basic breakfast.
I loved the location. Very close to Fisherman's Wharf, but a small drive to other areas (no more than 15 minutes to Haight Ashbury, AT&T Park, Union Square... you name it!) Although this is a very small hotel (although I would classify the setup as a motel) with an even smaller parking lot, it was clearly renovated and updated to reflect many of the larger chains (and a little bit better in some cases). It suited our cause, and saved our pocketbook (for the most part). I also liked the fact it was situated within a neighborhood that gave us a glimpse of daily life in San Fran. Lots of great food places within walking distance, a great little movie theater (Marina) near there, and of course Lombard Street is a hop, skip and serious hill climbing expedition away! Staff was friendly, especially the housekeeper, and it was overall a really good experience.
Hotel rooms are WAY OVERPRICED in this city. Maybe I am a little spoiled in this respect where I am from... but this was just astonishing for how bad (not this place) the rooms are in this city for what you pay. I had previously stayed at Parc55 last year, and it was awful!!! This place was 10x better than that chain hotel, but still is no where near worth a $199/night stay. Again... I am spoiled where I am at so I may not be the best judge. The parking lot here is bad too. We never had a problem with having a spot... it was more of a serious space issue that you swore you were going to ram your vehicle into the building.
Wifi, king size bed, Sattelite TV
Breakfast is in same small place called front desk! (Muffins, bananas& coffee/tea only?!) Expensive hotel 2nights=400$ (with taxes) Building looks ugly, 2 levels...
