I really enjoyed the room I had it was a lot bigger than what I expected and I really had a nice rest. Also.customer service was excellent too.
Loved the bed, and jacuzzi and pool
Too expensive but whatever
Work out area was not at all in good working condition. Vending machines not working .pool area dirty ..work out room never got vacuum in 3 days we were there .we notice cigarette butts on pool area never got picked..I myself had to clean the pool with the net so that my kids could at least try to enjoy ..particles floating
Absolutely nothing worked. Worse experience with a hotel.
We wanted to explore the neighborhoods of El Lago and Tomber Cove where the original astronauts built homes back when we were going to the moon. This hotel was practically around the corner and a short drive to the Johnson Space Center. Restaurants all around, easy access to the boardwalk. The waterways all around are spectacular. A terrific stop on a long road trip.
The staff and room was excellent including breakfast
The Jacuzzi didn't work and the pool was a foggy green
Close to NASA although a 5min drive.
We could checkout as quickly as we checked in!
Check in, staff was nice, until the end...mood changed. We were given the keys to Room 210. We were next to a family with loud children. Called the front desk and they moved us and apologized for the inconvenience. We then moved to Room 314, big mistake!! My sister is a secret shopper who does reviews for hotels around the Gulf Coast, and has for about 6 years. I've learned a lot from her when staying in hotels. Issue with Room 314: Pulled back the comforter and found blood on the sheets. Pulled the sheets off and found urine stains 3 about 7 inches in diameter. I will post pictures in a bit!! The room is a double queen. My friend and I stripped both beds; of which were filthy! We brought them downstairs to the lady at the front desk who basically accused US of making the mess. Really!? We then packed our things and went downstairs. I asked for my money back and that we wanted to leave. The woman training the 2 new employees said, "Well Ive already dropped your money!" I (meaning myself) are not stupid, Ive been in the hotel business for 3 years, you can do a credit card reversal. The other lady in formed us this "Never" happens. She is new, as is the older man. I would love for management to contact me! My friend and I then drove to COMFORT SUITES about a mile away!! Comfort Suites is Well worth the drive, fresh, clean, updated and friendly service!! And we received a better rate because of our horrible experience at La Quinta!
The free breakfast, the nice workers the room size the smell the location it was great.
The room was not what is advertised online at all and computers for customers did not work at all
The young guy working the front counter at night was very helpful & considerate.
One of the hotel managers hosted a bachelorette party in the room across the hall from our room. It was unbelievably loud with at least 20 people in the room. There was loud music, yelling, hollering, drinking & rude behavior. I was yelled at by one of the party guests as I was walking down the hall to the room we had to move to. The woman screamed at me that I could call whoever I wanted to report the party because she has friends in high places. Also, we had no place to park because the party guests had every parking place at the hotel occupied.
No toilet paper holder in bathroom. No bath towel rack in bathroom. Room #310
room was spacious and hotel was close to where we were going
walls are super thin and you can hear everything.
Worst motel stay in years
many problems. Ice machines broken on 2 of 3 floors. Elevator smells (staff had been on it and could have fixed it), fridge leaking water into beautiful cabinet it was in, ceiling water damage in the sitting area where there is a water line to a sprinkler and sprinkler head at a odd angle where it will not do its job (fire hazzard), 2nd floor fire door does not fit and close properly (fire hazzard), clocks not set, one lamp had broken switch, ink pen inop, bath fan very noisy(sounds like its very old), hand soap smells terrible, coffee in lobby the worst I've ever tasted (a powder coffee machine, and you advertise to businesses?), matress had plastic cover that was very loud, sheets/blanket tucked too far down so it was too short to cover a person and wrapped so tightly they couldn't be pulled up, wake up call came 1 hour early (the staff had not reset the time from daylight savings change a week earlier), creamer for coffee had hardened in its container. The TV required 2 controllers, one of which was broken. Getting someone up to fix this was like pulling teeth. The flat screen tv has never been set up and the aspect ratio was way off making every one look 60 lbs over weight. I suspect the hotel owner is either too cheap to hire a maintenance man, or is only the money man and is not on sight. If thats the case his manager and staff are taking him for a ride. They don't care about the facility or the customers. Their attitude was "don't bother me". The place looks nice, but in this case looks were decieving. Perhaps this building had been a dump that was redone without testing every thing after.
All the Staff that we came in contact with were excellent, friendly, welcoming and dealt with our minor problems with our room, speedily and efficiently. Gave very good Restaurant recommendation.
Minor irritations.... Noisy self flushing toilet, TV not working, printer in Office Suite not working, could have a little better sound proofing.
Was easy in and out. Location was good. Staff was great and helpful.
very clean facility
would have liked a blanket on the bed
Great room very comfortable, to relax, work, watch TV , with fridge and microwave
I had the Only room in the hotel with no view, it looked out against the entrance porch Breakfast were quiteblimited, and stuff ran out if you got there late
Very clean. Staff was very helpful. Bed was nice and clean
