Everything was perfect. The view from our room was great.
That it was all non smoking now.
Right on the beach, great pools for kids
The first room they gave us smelled horrible and the bottom of the door was barely hanging on. Very disappointed! I hated parking across the street
Parking, room (king suite) had peeling paint.
Location and staff were good.
Eyes on the stove didn't work and wifi was slow.
The room was very clean and comforable. The resort is old, but updated. The staff members we encountered were very nice and sincere in the way they enter acted with us. The kitchenette was clean and well equiped for our needs.
The WiFi was very unreliable and we had to use a connection from the resort next door most of the time
Pools, kid friendly water park, view was great.
Parking across the street, wifi was horrible for mobile.
Hotel was enjoyable. Room was large and had everything i expected.
WiFi was non existent, my phone couldn't even find the secrets WiFi most of the trip. I was lucky enough to be facing the hotel blue next door and was able to use theirs.
Good location to site see.
People making noise outside room during the night.
The corner ocean view and being able to sit on balcony and watch and listen to the waves and karaoke, having the complete kitchen, separate from bedroom and living room. The pool for my daughter, indoor hot tub excellent.
The basin outside of bath room with no door and the murphy bed it wasn't comfortable and them double beds to small.
Kitchen needs updated every time you cook the smoke alarm went off and save very out of date.
Free wifi is the only thing good
From the moment we walked in the door lock wasn't working, you had to slam it & check it. Then the maintenance man just pops in without a knock with all of us looking stunned..he was there for a light that we didn't call in. We had literally just got there. The parking lot has no security and no walkway connecting. The room smelled like they sprayed febreze in a rush to "clean" it. The fire alarm starting going off about the 5am and was still flashing when we checked out at 11. That's just to name the worst....
Wi fi could not get to work
We stayed at the Sea Crest Hotel on a first time visit to to Myrtle Beach. We selected the hotel based on price, location and amenities. The partial Ocean view room with a king bed was as expected with a partial kitchen we did not use. I didn't love the stove and microwave as they were not super clean and I can't think of why I would want to cook in a hotel room. The partial ocean view on the east side was terrific for watching the sunrise right from bed. The shower/tub area was newer and clean. I found the bed a bit on the too firm side but manageable. The room we had on one of the upper floors was quiet after 11pm. The reception, room and pool staff were all pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed the outdoor pools although found the grassed area for lounging was chewed up by the chairs and wondered why the area wasn't tiled as this would be easier to maintain. The pool bar was great anytime you want to sit and relax. Overall the stay was good and worked well for a first time visit to Myrtle Beach in the off season.
grassed area near the pool was in poor condition Microwave in poor condition
karaoke was fun Friday. Lots of choices of pools.
Indoor large pool was way too hot - outdoor large pool was just right.
The property was very nice. Love all the pool options. Good parking, very well lit. Love that the tiki bar opened at noon and the selection of drinks was great. Perfect beach access.
Hated the outdated, run down kitchen. The rooms needed some serious updating. Bathroom was poorly cleaned. The sheets hadn't been changed on the wall bed from the previous guests.
Very courties staff and respectful
Should be able to smoke on the balcony
This is a good family resort. Lots of pools for children. Central location, easy to get to other venues.
The mini mart didn't have a lot to offer, and the food that was there was very expensive. Starbucks only available in the morning. Although the room was clean the Décor very dated.
The only negative thing I can say is the tower I stayed in had elevator problems they were working on every day
the bed was comfortable, close to attractions.
The room was not as described by its features online. The shower did not have hot water, the wifi kept cutting in and out. ** Also, we had to open our room tocarpet cleaners during our stay...they should NOT have booked the room if it needed maintenance..VERY unprofessional. Only 1 ice machine worked at the entire facility, people were constantly smoking outside my room door. And lastly, check out was a 11am...people started coming by and knocking at 8:30 am. Another attendant just unlocked and WALKED into while I was in the shower BEFORE check out then screamed and left when she realized there was still people in the room... I will never book here again.
No hassle personnel, clean place, great location, excellent ocean shore - both beach and water depth pools with lounges good price discount at booking.com
Outdated kitchen equipment; small screen TV; people smoking at balcony
I loved view, kindness from the staff, and the area was beautiful!!
I liked the childrens water park. The Tiki Bar was nice. The amount of pools you had were nice. The location of other surroundings was convenient.
the roaches in the kitchen crawling on the dishes in the cupboard and on counter. The refrigerator was hard to open, very sticky. Grease and dust build up around the side of the stove. Very visible. Mold stains on shower curtain and bath mat. Not very appealing for what we pay. Wall falling apart around the door heading outside, very soft and ready to fall in. The carpet smelled and felt very dirty, the furniture in living room area was very uncomfortable and felt very dirty. Laundry facility was filthy and many machines broke down and dirty inside. Visitors load and leave them for hours, this should be better managed. Entrance to laundry facility is very inconvenient, clean clothes get wet if it is raining as we have to walk in the parking lot and around the pools. Balcony furniture was very dirty and dust and mold on the outside of the vent from the A/C. This was a first experience for my daughter and her two boys at the beach and it wasnt very pleasant. When loading our luggage to our car, a couple roaches were crawling on some of our stuff. Very very gross!
We walked into the room I opened the curtains & it was the most beautiful view I've ever seen in my life. The room was clean, having the kitchen area was very helpful. We enjoyed the indoor & outdoor pools & the short walk to the beach, I can't wait to stay next year!!
