We have been to Key West before and Key Largo is the Key of The Keys. Seafarer Resort is a laid back place that we were looking for. You really did not need to go anywhere. The beach and a suite. We stayed in Bonefish room.
The staff was amazing, caring and extremely helpful . A bit old Florida, relaxing and quaint.A great place to share with your dog!! Our two loved playing on the beach!!!! We will go back for sure!
Enjoyed all of it!!!
Cozy little cottage-like rooms. Had A/C, fridge, microwave, TV. Lots of chairs & loungers & hammocks on beach. Also had several charcoal grills & laundry facilities for guests to use. Very friendly & helpful staff! Was happy to get a room there over holiday weekend.
The "beach" (all 4 feet if it), was too small, had all these pipes & concrete right in the front that looked like sewer plumbing & the water was murky with rocks & long weeds. It was bayside of keys so I don't know if Oceanside has clearer water. Also, no ice machine. Although staff will give u a little if you ask or u can buy a bag for $3.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The people that stayed there were the friendliest people. With a little more care for the plants the place could be very nice.
I am sorry to say there were roaches or palmmetto bugs climbing up our wall in the closet and bathroom. I reported it when I left. They were bad the last day we were there. I feel that if you planted the potted plants in the pot they were in it would make the place look so much nicer.
The property had great possibilities with the hammocks and out door tiki area not to mention the complimentary kayaks. It would provide a great ambience for a group of friends to get together.
When I checked in the gentlemen went to check the room out first to see if a repair had been made. Their was a hole in the shower where the built in soap dish would be. I know that taking a shower with exposed wall could cause serious damage. Plus it just gave me a bad first impression of the property. I had to ask to be moved to a different room. He was fine with me staying in the room as it was. He did when asked upgrade me to a 1 bedroom suite so I would have 2 beds but it just left a bad feeling about the property. I work in the service field and it showed a lack of ownership in doing the right thing to start with.
scenery and quiet
They had to give me a refund and ruined my trip cause of a septic problem in the room and they would not give me another room. I had to drive back home.
The location was excellent and the beach area and kayaks were a great activity for me and my son. Staff was very helpful, friendly and courteous. Garden area was very nice and having tables and chairs outside each room created an inviting area to expand our space a bit.
The size of our room was pretty small, which made things a little tighter for the two of us.
Great location , very relaxing.
Not enough to do.
Private beach, like on a tropical island
Our room was clean but our window A/C unit was very noisy (old unit) also we stayed 2 days and on our 2nd day we did not get clean towels over all nice grounds
Very quaint! Pretty grounds! The beach is small but nice. If you snorkel, you will see different kinds of fish. We even saw a small shark!! The free kayaking and fishing were great. There are hammocks to relax under shady trees. The room and bathroom were small and dated, but clean. Location is great also. Close to publix, Denny's and other restaurants. Only bad thing is no poo.
Dirty Room, dead bugs on floor when we walked in
The comfortable and tranquil atmosphere. Private beach with a beautiful sunset every night.
The only downfall was the poor ventilation in our cottage. We were able to smell what the couple next door was cooking but thankfully we had lysol! It's not a major complaint, only a comment for improvement.
The beach was nice and the kayaks were great:)
Drove down with my boyfriend from Virginia and were not disappointed about anything. Staff was very friendly, rooms were clean and cozy, and the outside area was decorated in such a nice way. Enjoyed the complimentary kayaking and cozy hammocks. We stayed in the smallest room they have I believe room #11, and it was just fine for the two of us. We didn't take a vacation to be inside a room the whole time so the size didn't matter to us. Overall, we had a great time and will be returning in the future.

Small Rooms Lack of Air Conditioning Bugs
Helpful and lovely staff and comfortable space to be in.
oom was listed as a sea view room and it wasn't. 6.5 foot ceilings ridiculous. Shower was not clean, window air could not chill room, room full of biting gnats and Mosquitos. Will never stay here again and neither should you. Extremely disappointed.
great location at the waterfront if you know that it is old style, it is ok! it was clean
- old fashioned - very thin walls, there was a kid talking the room next to us, and we werent able to sleep. you heard every word.
Location was brilliant. Small resort which was very nice as it did not get busy so there were times you felt like you had the place to yourself.
If you get a room by the beach watch out for the mosquitos :)
Perfect Key Largo old Florida location.
The staff at check in we're very friendly, once they showed up. After check in they will escort you to your room/cabin/cottage. The property is set up with a gorgeous view, the sand, the brightly colored chairs, the patio tables and the hammocks are so inviting. The cottage I stayed in was perfect, except for the bathroom. There were 3 double beds in two bedrooms and it would be perfect for a group of people looking to get away, sit on the sand and have some drinks.
Every time my daughter and I got into the water, we were stung by something. After looking closer in the water (gorgeous and clear) we saw all kinds of jellyfish. We weren't warned about them. We stayed in cottage 5 which was amazing...except for the bathroom. The shower curtain was crusted and crunchy with mold at the bottom. The shower didn't drain nearly as fast as it should and I ended up standing in overflowing ankle-deep water. Thankfully I brought baby wipes and other hygiene products because my daughter and I only showered one time during our three day trip due to that.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Asked multiple times by several of them if we needed anything. Our villa was very clean and well stocked for doing our own cooking if we wanted to do so. The beach area is very nice with a variety of chairs, lounges and hammocks. Shade or full sun. The kayak use is free for registered guests. It was quiet and no loud noise is specified in writing when you sign in. If you want a loud party atmosphere go somewhere else. The facilities are more "rustic" but if you want "posh - top of the fancy" level then you need to be prepared to pay alot for it. This was perfect for us - nice, quiet, and low key - the other guests we met were also really nice.
Hammocks & free cayak use.
Grounds & small room, not much counter space to put our items & clothes.
Free kayaks to use and nice beach area to hang out
