Location, room, bad

breakfast too poor

Excellent helpful staff. Loved the location and accessibility.

Room was a bit dated and noisy (HVAC System on roof) but we were so tired it didn't seem to matter. Construction going on outside the hotel but really did not matter that much.

Very good location, the nearest subway station in walking distance, cab to Central Park about 25$. Staff was very frendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Staff, Douglas is extra nice and kind.

Best spot if you want to walk the Brooklyn Bridge. Staff will call a car service instead of a cab for a similar price, or the subway is a few minute walk. Easy access to NYC.

Area is still recovering from Sandy, so not as hopping as it once was or will be. Just means you have to go further for dinner or a drink. Not a huge deal.

The staff was fantastic. They were super friendly and helpful. I loved the location. Unfortunately, because of Hurricane Sandy, many businesses around there were still closed. However, there are still some great restaurants near by and the pier is a 5 minute walk away. A great place to explore! Ground Zero and the financial district is a 10 minute walk and Chinatown and Little Italy are only a 20 minute walk away. Super close to the Brooklyn Bridge, water taxi's, and ferries. It was a perfect location away from the craziness of the City. It was a 20-25 cab ride to Times Square. All around the place was fantastic!! We were really pleased with the hotel and the service. Stay at this hotel and eat at some of the restaurants near by and help get these businesses back on their feet!

liked the location in an up and coming old new york port area...also close to ground zero. staff were helpful and personable.

The view from our room was of the East River and Brooklyn Bridge. Absolutely beautiful! Around every corner was an excellent restaurant. The area felt very safe to us.

exclent staff and a great room, Clean and comforable

The staff was very courteous. They gave us a very nice room which was super clean. Having a small fridge and coffee maker is very handy as well.

The price. It was a bit on the expensive side.

Cozy accommodations. Near FDR and good restaurants all around!

None, except the front desk manager was unwilling to let me have a late checkout, although the hotel was quite empty!

The staff made you feel very important. The room was spacious and clean. The best coffee I have had in a long time. It was very close to Pace University. I recommended the Hotel and Booking.com to many parents of Pace University students as a great place to stay and to book rooms.

Location and small boutique feel.

The location for us was excellent. We were in New York to see my brother in law leave on the Clipper Around the World yacht race. This hotel was within walking distance. Also, if you want to visit the city, especially the financial district, and Ground Zero good place to be. Seaport Pier 17 is a good source of restaurants and entertainment and felt very safe.

I found plastic cutlery and plastic plates ridiculous for a 3* hotel and the prices they charged! We were not at a take away cafe.

Convenient location, my daughter attends Pace. Also it was great having the complimentary breakfast! The beds were very comfortable as well and everything was clean.

I believe we should have been told about the construction. It was noisy,and there was no view as we had in the past. The price should always be reduced when under renovation;don't you think. Disappointed,John D'Ercole

Great location next to Brooklyn Bridge, Seaport area, TKTS booth for discounted Broadway tickets, Ground Zero, and cheap water taxis to Brooklyn. Away from the maddening crowds of Midtown.

It's a hike to the nearest subway stop.

Excellent location, quite place (PIR 17) with a couple of good bar, restaurants, shops, ... Small remarks is the size of the breakfast, a bit small but not a big issue.

The location at the Seaport, adjoining the Financial and Government districts and mere blocks from Pace University, is ideal. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were uniformly professional and helpful.

The plumbing fixtures were a bit wonky. One of the elevators sometimes would not take people up, only down. And while the included breakfast buffet was appreciated, its choices are pretty limited and the daily sausages of particularly poor quality. But these are minor quibbles, and it remains a very good hotel in its class.
