We like the hotel because it is right on the Beach and the staff was very nice and helpful. The room is clean and always someone there if you need anything. We would stay again.

The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Staff was polite.

Had to actually sign into register, Still using keys, did not like the cover over the atrium (area could have been cleaner), elevator (1)very slow. Parking was terrible (too small). Quite costly for a old hotel.

The Seaside's best asset is its location. If you are looking for a budget-friendly beachfront hotel, for a family stay, the Seaside is a great choice. You have your basic amenities: indoor pool, rooms with kitchenettes, etc. Yes the decor is outdated. The motel has a throw back feel to it. If you want a luxurious bathroom, cushy beds, and a 4 star experience, you won't be satisfied here. But if you want a family friendly hotel, a fantastic location, a neverending supply of fresh towels and quick access to the beach, this is a great option. The rooms and bedding are clean. The 2nd floor deck is fantastic. Our family has always had fun there. We're sad it's closing at the end of the season.

we could rent hotel with same accommodation much cheaper with no kitchen, I think they shouldn't charge us for mini kitchen option because we couldn't use it at all. we came with 2 kids and had to spent a lots of money for cooking.... not good at all. no recommendation...

I liked that you did not have to walk or take an elivator down 20 floors to get to the main level. You don't have a mile to walk to get to the beach, once you are on the ground floor.

I am sadden that this is the last year for Seaside Hotel. It saddens me that this is going to be replaced by a large Hotel. I like the smaller ones my self. I guess all good things must come to an end.

First off, the location, right on the boardwalk! The price was right, but with everything in life you get what you pay for. If you usulally stay at a nicer hotel then do the same this year, instead of staying here and then giving a bad review. The staff was very nice and helpful, for example; I had put the do not disturb sign on the knob but they still called to see if we needed towels or any other service. The garden area, which is pretty much the main lobby, does not smell at all. I don't know what the other reviews are talking about. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were very flat. I recomend you bring your own. The AC was super cold and the kitchenette was adequate with mini fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and sink. There seemed to be only 3 balcony rooms in this hotel, don't expect to get one of those unless you're lucky. The sun deck on the second floor was pretty cool. It had a great view of the boardwalk and beach for people watching and lots of lounge chairs. The hotel is also righ on the strip. The pool was okay and there was not an overwhelming chlorine smell but was also not heated as the sign says outside. It may be a little too deep for the lil ones as well, the shallowest is 4ft. Overall it was what I expected for the age of the building and the price. Hopes this helps your decision.

Okay, what I didn't like. The carpet in the room was very sticky and dirty. Bring house shoes!! The TV had basic cable channels and was very small. It was mounted on a dirty, wooden swivel, and the plastic base was broken. There was not a hairdryer or iron. The kitchen was missing a lot of stuff too. We had two small pots and one big pot but no skillet. There was no dish soap or anything to scrub them with. The only utensils given were butter knifes, spoons, forks, and a can opener, no chef knive or anything else. There were only two very small trash cans which filled up really quick with two kids and a fridge full of food. The front lot is pretty much non existent, which made unloading difficult. The main parking lot is off premise a block over but it is very will lit. I felt safe parking there. Don't take what i didn't like as a reason not to stay here. Just be prepaired and you should be fine and have a good time. Fortunatlly there was a Harris Teeter a few blocks over. They everything we needed. I would stay here again.

    liked the location

rooms are small. has portable air conditioning unit which didn't keep room cool enough and allowed rain inside during a storm. indoor pool was in poor shape also.
