1-Good location 2-Nice rooms 3-Very (!) comfortable beds
1-Poor breakfast 2-Construction on the backside woke me up early in the morning 3-Cleaning was ok but could have been better
Rex is a very polite, good and helpful receptionist. He gave guidance on transport and places to go and weather etc. Hotel is about 5 or 10 minutes walk to Monorail and bus routes to downtown.
However, one lady receptionist staff in the mornings was not helpful and indifferent to my questions relating to weather, transport etc. Her usual response was I do not know. Breakfast can be improved. There is tea, milk, muffins but no cereal.
They overcharged me and refuse to correct the problem. The room was musty, I had no blanket on my bed. at the lowest setting on the mini frig that sat on the floor, it froze everything. For 2 people there was only 1 towel. The cleaning woman told us to get out, her exact words, early. When asked why she said "no speak english". I could go on and on. If you wanted to be treated rudely and pay high prices go ahead, but you would be more comfortable sleeping in your car.
Lady on desk when we arrived was nice
Poor Breakfast No Paper Major construction next to hotel and weren't told Difficult to find entry due to construction
Walking distance to Space Needle and Seattle downtown.
Room needs some update (bumpy mattress, leaking bathroom sink, broken windows). Parking not easy due to construction sites around building.
just needs a little work
That they don't give you the phone number for the front desk
The room was very comfortable & quiet with plenty of room to move around. The mini fridge was handy as well as the coffee pot. Plenty of hot water for a soak in the tub and fluffy towels. Fresh muffins, bagels, juice/coffee/tea & fruit were available for a lite breakfast. The staff was very helpful & extremely pleasant. the location was very handy to the downtown area, a quick bus trip or short walk.
Not enough outlets for all the modern electronics that are essentials today.
Negatives so plentiful that I can't think of a positive.
Construction all around hotel. Small bed. Lacks adequate electrical outlets!! Greatly overpriced. Some people hanging out at the hotel looked like street people.
1. Kitchen had NO PLUMBING! 2. Closet had no horizontal bar to hang clothes on! 3. huge stain in kitchen (2ft diameter). 4. Broken window with plywood over it. 5. only one tv in a family suite? Horrible, horrible place. will never stay there again!
This place had nothing to write about that was not dismal. At no point did they reveal in advance the conditions of their venue.
Blood stains on bedding, rips in blankets. Giant hole in wall. Lock on door not functioning. Paid for parking, was none. Construction next door made access nearly impossible. Leaking sewer drain leaving puddle dripping from above next to my car. Mold in bathroom. Blood stains on ceiling. Broken window. Key card would not work twice in a row, had to replace several times. Ancient and tiny tube television with no reception. But my favorite, the clerk who told me I was being charged 400.00 over the regular room rate. I travel to seattle many times a year, staying at warwick, westin, etc. and pay the same or less than this toilet bug of a disaster!!!!!!
The hotel was close to some good cafés and a short walk to downtown Seattle
The rooms are desperately in need of an upgrade.
Small, shabby stuffy room. For $335.00 a night, expected much more.
The hotel has false asdvirtising. There was a hole in the wall only secured with wood. The "kitchen" had no running water and the fridge had mold in it. I have no idea how this hotel can still be open for business. Over priced for the awful quality.
not much, location was good
Old, Rundown, highly overpriced, construction all around. This hotel should have been priced at $65.00 a night vs. the $220,00 I paid!!!
The location to Space Needle was great but accessibility was horrible by car. It was a good thing we were within walking distance.
Staff was grumpy and difficult to understand. Construction all around, the ads on all the websites had a pool on site but it was drained and obviously unused for a while.
That it was available when not much else was.
Room smelt pungently of cat urine. Bathroom very unclean (definitely wear flip-flops in the shower). Pool was unusable (a green pond). Road construction all around the property meant that whilst it was a reasonable location, pedestrian detours added significant amounts of time to each trip. Far too over-priced.
The best part was two blooming hearts of palm.
Location. Staff lack of English speaking skills. Pool/spa inoperable and had algae growing in the bottom with 3' of water. Pathetic excuse for coffee and breakfast!!! Worst I've ever seen! For over $200 a night ! To top it off, we got into our car and it was wet from being sprayed down. Windows barely cracked. Don't stay here. Worst hotel in WA!
The young lady at checkin was very informative and friendly.
Hotel was not easily accessible; street not on a map; freeway construction; kitchen not a kitchen; carpet stained and smelly; swimming pool filled with scum; and breakfast?
Location was excellent. We were able to walk to Space Needle and Duck tours. Staff allowed us to park before check in which was a big help.
The rooms had not been updated. Kitchen had fridge but no operating sink or cooking area. Unfinished remodeling In Kitchen. Sun came in early in the morning on main room and bed with no curtains or way to block it out. This place served our purpose of a one nite stay for 4 adults and 3 nine year olds. The price was good. So with qualifications we would recommend to others. Also road construction made it a challenge to get there.
We chose this hotel because they claimed to be pet friendly, and we had a little 5 lb dog coming with us. However besides it being way overpriced for one night, they charged $20 for parking, which by the way we had no choice due to construction on all sides of hotel that they failed to tell us about. So there was no other parking options available. The mini fridge did not work, the queen size bed we paid for was ACTUALLY a full size. The painted walls looked like a child did them, the tub/shower was filthy, the door was tore up along the edge as if it had been broken into at sometime. The pool wasn't full and had GREEN water. Couldn't even look out the window as it was so filthy. Only some of the outlets worked and if you chose the wrong one the tv quit working. There was NO hot water for taking a shower. The elevator worked when it wanted to. When we checked out we weren't even asked how our stay was let alone get a thank you for choosing our crappy hotel.Guess we should have went with our first choice hotel and taken a chance on the dog. Plus they were easily $20 cheaper and no construction around.
The fact that I found a crack pipe in room even though I was told room had been shampoo vacuumed but then found half a cookie and a brownie behind bed head post. Then when looking for pen I had dropped by the desk I found a crack pipe and measuring scale. I brought these items to the front desk where I was moved to a different room which was barely satisfying. When management got back to me I was promised a ten percent discount on the rate of my room. But when I was checking out I asked about the discount and was denied by staff even though they had knowledge about promise made by the manager on duty the previous day. At the cost of $249 a night this was outragious service. Not worth the money.
The location the rooms one of the windows was broken and a piece of thin piece of plywood coverd it. The kitchen area had a sink no taps lights not working we got up and left very early. I would not stay there again or tell my friends about it
Close to space needle
Everything was in need of repair. Leaking window partially boarded up with plywood. Totally rundown. Surrounded by construction outside. Stains on the floor. Yuck?
The staff was very nice. Like the way the rooms were layed out with the bathroom separating the bedrooms. I would have put a sleeper sofa in the front room to make it seem more like a suite. Bed was comfortable.
They did some renovations in the bathroom but there were no bars in case you were to slip.
