Pretty loud in the halls. Not a real bathroom just a shower.
Very thin walls, loud in the hall- ways. Ratty up get to but not sure would go back.
The dark paint and carpeting in the hallway and room and the not bright lighting could use a tune-up. Also, the sidewalks around the property could use a power-washing.
The room and kitchen staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable.
Location to University Village
My towels and bed sheets were cleaned, but they were so old that they looked dirty. Wi-fi was so slow that I could say there was no internet connection
My room was very large, comfortable and quiet, with a nice bathroom. Guys at the reception very helpful. Good breakfast.
weird fishy smells in the hallways at all times. very think walls and ceilings. front desk lady had no expression on her face at all. complementary coffee in room is gross. we could literally see the street from inside the room through the small space in the wall where they installed the heater a/c unit wrong. small parking lot
across the street from some good restaraunts
I rented a room with a tub and got a shower only also I ask that my stay is to be kept personal and quit. Soon after I check in it was put on line where I was staying again. WHY ?
the bed was good, room was clean .
hallway smelled like cigarettes, wifi frequently dropped
It was an older facility and needed a really good, deep cleaning and upgrade.
It was close to university and shopping.
The hot water ran out. The front desk clerk said he was on it, but was not. It wasn't until past noon that we got a shower and that was due to us chasing down the maintenance guy ourselves. A few dollars were knocked off for the inconvenience. Also the internet was terrible.
The location was just right for University District access. Food and shopping nearby. Bed was good. And it was surprisingly quiet.
I requested an extra pillow they did not have it
Carpets need to be cleaned and/or replaced. Room could have been cleaner. Stairs to upper level were loud. Room offered very little to muffle the noise from the hall and street outside.
Beds were comfortable.
Maid did not leave soap or shampoo last morning. Lady behind counter acted like I was bothering her to check on some cosmetics. Not worth the lesser price.
Location was ideal. Breakfast was prompt with good choices.
- "old" and stale smell in hallways (rooms were ok) - weird lightbulbs - electrical outlets were old and loose
- very friendly/accommodating staff - plenty of towels - fairly sound proof rooms (we were on 1st floor) - not wow super toilets, but still great - breakfast was surprisingly good--waffle irons were nice and there was plenty of space to eat and lounge
I had forgotten after shower lotion and that was not on the tray. I am not a coffee drinker at night and missed tea bags, cocoa or cider mix.
Breakfast was very good!
Loud noises all night, paper thin walls, funky smell
Allow early check in
Everything looks old and very used.
proximity to our son's home
Managerial staff very unfriendly, officious and unprofessional. Carpets were filthy, our non-smoking smelled very bad until we aired it out...
Proximity to shopping and university.
The hallway carpeting needs to be replaced or cleaned. I've noticed this on the four times I've stayed there, which makes the motel appear dirty, when actually the rooms are clean.
If you only need a motel to spend the night in, as there is a lot going on in Seattle to visit and enjoy, then the University Place Travelodge is the place for you. Conveniently located, safe, economically priced.
Water in the shower - continuously changing the temperature from cold to very hot and back to cold (without making any adjustments); house keeping - so so; some days it was difficult to get a parking space.
Location, large room with comfortable bed, easy access to the room.
Our room was by the entrance door so we could hear alot of noises from people coming in and out
The staff was friendly the rooms are spacious
Very difficult to locate.i came off the Freeway and thought I was following directions. Forty five minutes of circling ! I got the attention of a lady walking on 19th st...or off of it...and she gave me correct directions. Even with that, is was a maze. Also, the room was too cold. The heater was noisy. I did not understand how to adjust it.
The bed. And a light almost suitable for reading in bed.
I had a wonderful time although I do think you should provide better toiletries and update things such as the bedding TV etc.
Old, single pane window let in the cold and every sound from the street. The ac/heat pump looked like it was ready to fall out of the wall, super thin walls, dated furniture and none of the towels in the matched.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The property is outdated but clean and the location was a little difficult to find the first time.
The hallway carpets should be cleaned or replaced - just a suggestion.
The location and cost of our room were the number one reason for our choice of this motel. Desk clerk was friendly.
