The staff was very helpful and friendly. The property is outdated but clean and the location was a little difficult to find the first time.
Old, single pane window let in the cold and every sound from the street. The ac/heat pump looked like it was ready to fall out of the wall, super thin walls, dated furniture and none of the towels in the matched.
The location and cost of our room were the number one reason for our choice of this motel. Desk clerk was friendly.
The hallway carpets should be cleaned or replaced - just a suggestion.
I feel that office staff were very greatful, and helpful; except for the lost of electricity, your hotel across from University Plaza is an excellent choice.
The air conditioning/ heater needs some adjustment. the cold air zip through the edges and it gets too cold during the morning hours.
The location worked for my business trip.
I picked up a key, but did not look at the room. Later that night, I opened the door and found both beds standing on their edges. Obviously, someone had cleaned the rug and room. But it was not ready. Nor was the second room..I had the staff go up the stairs to check on the third room. The third room was ready to occupy. The TV screen was quite dark. The faucet at the sink leaked badly when turned on. Parking is very tight. To top it all off, there was a power outage in the city. I learned that the room keys work because they are on a battery. The outside building locks are electric. When I went to the vehicle for flashlights, I had to ask at the desk for the outside door to be opened. Probably, a good security measure. The place needs upgrading and repair. The staff was pleasant considering what they had to work with.
Such a great location.
There was not much that was positive here. If you want a great location, this is it. The rest of the experience was average. You are paying more for a very average room because of where it's located. Convenience does cost more...
Bed was comfortable. Wifi worked.
The room smelled musty. The daytime staff (woman) was miserable. The fruit at breakfast was old and inedible. Did I mention the grumpy female staff at the desk?
It would be better if they have a half-day rate cuz sometimes people have their flights in the late evening. It's unfair that I have to pay a full day rate when I just wanna stay couple of more hours until 8 pm.
The location is very good. Generally, the staff are courteous and attentive, but some don't always follow through with their commitments to take some action. We didn't eat the breakfast, so can't comment. The bed was comfortable, the heat worked, the wi-fi worked, and usually the surroundings are fairly quiet.
The amenities tend to be minimal. The important things -- bed, wi-fi, heat, location -- were good. The light tended to be standard motel light -- inadequate, although the bathroom was good. The bed is comfortable, but it's not set up to accomplish any work very comfortably (lighting, chair and desk not up to the task). We've stayed there several times in the past couple of years, and although it's usually quiet, it can be otherwise. It's not a destination hotel. We will probably stay there again because it's a good location,
The front House staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the local surroundings. The breakfast bar was very clean well set up and fully stocked.
though the overall cleaning crew does a great job it's obvious that some of the details work is overlooked. The location is very desirable but the facilities and the building is beginning to show its age.
Location was perfect for me. Standard fare for continental breakfast. Free parking.
Overall cleanliness of the facility was a horrendous. Carpets were filthy in hallways and only slightly better in room. The wall in room were touched up with paint 3-4 shades mismatched. TV was old school CRT with a remote missing the back cover exposing the batteries. The rubber shower mat had mildew stains and the caulking around sink and tub was pealing away.
I didn't like the used condom next to the bed! Corn dog sticks behind the couch! Mold in the coffee pot!! Mold and mildew in the bathroom!! The maids took seething we forgot in the room and didn't turn it in!!! The manager did nothing to accommodate us at all!!!!!
The facility is somewhat dated, but quite comfortable and a good value. The office staff are friendly and helpful. The upscale shopping and dining area across the street is a big plus, with excellent restaurants in walking distance.
There was a musty smell to the hall carpets near the high traffic areas of breakfast and laundry rooms. The bathroom faucet initially had to be run for 30 seconds or more before the cloudy yellow water ran clear.
Hot water outage occasionally while in the shower.
Clean comfortable breakfast Two minutes to the dorm my sister was moving into. The closest hotel to this side of the campus
Carpets outside rooms were a little dirty windows needed new screens and bathtub needs refinished
close to the bus stops and shopping
the prices in Seattle are high
Kent the young desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Location. Decent included motel breakfast
Filthy everywhere you step. Halls and rooms and bathroom smelled like urine. Beat up furniture. Cramped parking an accident waiting to happen. Obvious lack of caring and ownership negligence. Female morning desk clerk evidently doesn't like her job. Price of $100+ 15.3% taxes per night way inflated for condition of this property. If I'd paid $45 per night I'd expect this. Not up to Wyndham standards at all.
Nice breakfast and the area is safe and not so far from downtown
Room is not very clean and small
Rooms are furnished with microwaves and small refrigerators, which can be useful. They also offer a free continental breakfast which is ok.
1. If you intend to watch television, be prepared for disappointment. There are plenty of channels, all of which look crappy. (We had two rooms so we could verify that this was a systemic problem.) 2. The fixtures in both bathrooms were ancient. Both faucets had leaks. 3. Upon initial check-in, there was hair in one of the bathrooms (blech). 4. There were repeated problems with the programmable door keys. 5. The wi-fi connection is GLACIALLY slow.
Too far from the city and woman at reception was rude when we arrived. Rooms are in need of an update. TV had no volume & shower control was coming away from the wall.
It is the worst hotel I have ever been to. There is a guy called Kent with a beard and mustache, he is so unfriendly and such a duche! Service is bad breakfast is bad and the wifi doesn't even work. If you have a choice don't come!
Location for our purpose and likely handy for most of the city. We visit the city often and always stay over. We were able to check in an hour early which was crucial given that we had to dress for a wedding and barely had time at that. We had asked about this ahead of time and were given little assurance that it would happen. "We'll try" seemed to be the attitude there. Oops. Some negative stuff here.
The safe didn't work so we had to use the safe of our fellow travelers. We had only two pillows between the two of us and needed at least one more. When requested, the desk guy said, somewhat unenthusiastically, "I'll see what I can do." The pillow never showed up. I'm a two pillow man at night. Wish we'd know of the lack of an elevator for my disabled brother. Perhaps the offer of a ground floor unit would have helped.
Lack of Parking Space - had to park on street
I liked the location.
The bed was very uncomfortable as were the pillows. The bathroom was dirty and my lady spent time cleaning it when we first arrived. Parking left alot to be desired if you drive a pickup. I have much better continental breakfasts.
Close to UW gym where we spent our time, breakfast was filling, liked the room with microwave and fridge. Used coffee maker alot.
Cleaning staff knocked then opened our door close it when saw we were in room. Didn't like that. Rooms weren't available until 1pm, takes long time to get them cleaned.
Closeness to uni village
Difficult to get into Seattle centre using public transport. Woman at reception was rude on our arrival. TV had no volume & wifi took ages to connect.
