The rooms were basic -bed uncomfortable -very tiny rooms with no space for even the luggage Bed against window so access out of bed at night was climbing over the wife etc fold makeshift door to toilet but dirty rusty pipes and no coffee machine/fridge just basic and free wifi was only if you sat in the lobby having to go down in the lift which was slow -not a delight and not recommended

Walking distance to pike street markets and close to all public transport too

No wi fi in the room, only in the lobby. Room decor was very dated

The location is good. We wanted to see Pike Place Market and Pioneer Squire during our two short stays in Seattle; we were able to walk to both areas from the hotel. It's also close to the metro light-rail which made getting to and from Sea-Tac very easy.

Shower was too hot then too cold then scalding hot, then freezing hot then warm

Didn't like the most: internet access (WiFi) was in the lobby only. Super inconveniently! Less important issues: Owner nave been saving on renovation for decades: almost everything were of the cheapest kind, at least 10 years old, and did not work properly. In my room 2 outlets did not work, TV was ancient and showed 7 chanels but only after I fixed antenna cable. I also had great difficulty regulating water flow in the shower. I would recommend the hotel for budget-minded and undemanding travellers.

Housekeeping staff did an excellent job with our room and made sure we were well stocked with toiletries. The location, in the heart of downtown, was ideal.

Many safety hazards. Our room was on an upper floor, but the windows had no screens (so if you opened the window too far you might fall out). The heating system is old (exposed radiator and pipes), so be careful not to touch it!

It smells, the linen was tattered and old. The building is nearly falling down. It's way to expensive for what it is.

They stated that parking was available for $29.00 per day near hotel. They directed me to a lot that was $35.00. Room was extremely overheated by a noisy radiator. Staff was not pleasant.

Wifi is not good Some amenities are inadequate

I was very disappointed in the staff at the front desk, when we were checking out in the morning the man working at the front desk was extremely rude to myself and my fiance, from snapping at us then raising his voice followed by eye rolling. It was 630 in the morning and expect a little bit more then that when checking out from a hotel, My fiance and I have just spend the last three months traveling from canada and the states booking with booking.com almost every place we stay, and this hotel was the biggest disappointment, The bathroom was disgusting the sink was about to fall off its pedestal, there was holes in the ceiling bathroom and paint coming of all the walls. And it cost 87.68 for a night! Where a five star was only 20.00 more! This hotel should not be allowed to charge that much or be turned into a backpackers, To be honest I have stayed in better backpackers around the world such as prague berlin australia vancouver budpest ect. Which we must nicer then this hotel. Extremely disappointed!

Downtown location and the price make it a bargain

Room was uncomfortably hot, even with the radiator set on "0" and the single window wide open. A large area of the ceiling above the radiator had unrepaired water damage. Amenities such as a hair dryer, coffee maker, and even a toilet paper holder were not included.

It was the most run down, dirty hotel i've ever stayed in! Walls were falling apart, shower didn't even look clean..no shower curtain.. Carpet was gross!

We like the location. That is honestly the only thing we like about this hotel. It is not enough of a reason to ever stay at such a disgusting hotel ever again.

Where to start..... The pillows were lumpy....I'm not just being dramatic, it was actually hilarious how lumpy these old, nasty pillows were. The rooms were disgustingly dirty! Now, I've traveled to third- world countries and this place is on the top of the list for nastiest rooms I've ever stayed in. The staff was...unhelpful, not friendly and did the very bare minimum. The vending machines in the lobby had expired snacks. Not just one of the snacks we bought was expired, three of them were. Loud rooms. Tv didn't have cable. Remote for tv didn't work. Radiator heat was broken. Maid came into our room even though we clearly had a do not disturb sign on the door knob. Our room was missing the dead- bolt lock. ...Etc, etc.... I could go on for a while here, but I think you get the picture. Not even drunk college kids would want to stay at this place.

Filthy dirty. The carpets, draps, blankets and towels were unwashed. Booking.com clearly is unaware of what it is promoting. Hotel Seattle should not be recommended as it is not fit for humans. Dirty beyond anything I have experienced in the third world.

Location was excellent, room was clean.
