Score from 396 reviews Good
It was very old and water from pipes was poor, very poor.
Very expensive for the level of quality, very old and stuffy, looks like a 1960' hotel... and creepy
Location was within walking distance to many businesses including the stadiums. Rooms were clean.
No onsite parking or any discount for parking in the near by garages. A little pricey for the type of hotel on a Sunday.
Location was great, walking distance of most things
Hotel very down at heel, needs a total refurbishment - Wallpaper hanging off the walls, decor very dated and there's a stale smell in the public areas. If you're reading this from England - think Blackpool B&B!
Broken elevator, old, dated, bites on body resembling bed bugs...did not stay full length of stay, prepaid for 2 nights and checked out after only 1.
Very helpful and interested staff. Clean.
very noisey. Very tired decor. Bathroom fitting were coming off.
Location right in centre of downtown Seattle. Comfortable, cheery staff, facilities all worked.
It's a bit outdated and the radiator was on full blast for some reason (I failed to notice and turn it off for a while). But very cheap for the location.
Staff were great. Housekeeping does a great job in spite of what they have to work with on site. Window opens but no screen. Dangerous if you have kids.
Mold by fan in bath. Wallpaper peeling off walls in bath. Grout in bath needs replacement. Sink pedestal missing large chunk of porcelain. 5 channels only on Telly.
Friendly and helpful staff..GREAT LOCATION.
Very old hotel, not a room to spend time in.
Nothing, very old hotel that need to be upgraded. No kettle in room , had to go to the bar in the basement to get water n the staft expect us to bring our own mug !
The decor, the character, the room was huge, the staff was helpful and friendly, in-room fridge, bed was comfortable, very convenient location, architectural details were very cool.
Could use some updating; furniture is a bit old, wallpaper is dated, radiator heat didn't work. Elevator was slow. Music from club in the basement was really loud. Phone didn't work.
-Location within walking distance from meeting -Nice person at front desk -Clean
-Old and not updated -No air conditioning; therefore windows had to be open all night which brought in all outside noise -Lack of TV channels
The staff was very accommodating.
Room was VERY small: no creeen on the window: 5 channels on tv, all of which were staticy: no airconditioning in room & unable to open the window because the street cleaners were cleaning from 9-10 pm
The location and cost are enough to recommend Hotel Seattle!
Exposed pipes, lumpy pillows, filthy rug, torn and bubbled wallpaper, unpredictable shower temp.
Location is excellent for the price. We just needed lodging for one night before our cruise. We were able to take light rail from the airport to within walking distance of hotel for under $3/each. Great deal!
Very outdated no ice machine and no pop machine.
Location, Location, Location This hotel is nothing fancy, however that said, it is clean, and has a perfect location. The cab ride from the train station was only $4. The walk to the waterfront, Pike's Place and all the attractions, short. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The resturant and bar next door, again nothing fancy, but the people were friendly. When we go on vacation we are generally only in our room to sleep so we don't ever book expensive hotel rooms. This hotel has charm
There isn't much to not like about it. But if I had to say anything it would be that there really isn't any place to put your toiletries in the bathroom. We loved the place.
Affordable, great location. Probably would not stay there again, but accommodations are tolerable for someone looking for a bargain.
Our room was cramped and not well maintained - needed cleaning, only 2 working outlets, no screen on window. Bathroom was not clean and in need of maintenance - sink nearly falling off wall, peeling wallpaper, dirty tile floor, rusty pipe going thru large gap in ceiling.
Location location location less than a block to light rail, 3 blocks from Pike Market.
Carpeting I'm room hasn't been steam cleaned in ages, lots of deep dirt in the bathroom, curtain rod ready to fall off wall, very limited selection of channels on TV. Oh and WIFI only available in the lobby.
carpet dirty price too high - stayed in better placesfor only $40 a night no coffee tv barely came in walls in hall dirty
SLEPT WELL. NICE LOCATION.
TOO MANY HILLS. HARD TO WALK UP THE SIDEWALKS. AM USED TO THE PRAIRIES.
Nothing in our room worked. Not the TV, no air, bed uncomfortable and linens really old.. Bathroom needed update. Yuk!
The staff was helpful and friendly. The location couldn't have been better. The bedroom was ample and the queen size bed too (had to pay $10 extra for it). Got some toiletries and fresh towels daily. I'd go back for the convenient location, but I wouldn't recommend it to friends.
The sink pedestal was loose and you couldn't lean on it or hold on to it. The ceiling and a post were all rusted out and it looked gross. No handle or mat in the bathtub. No fan or air-conditioning and it was 88o when we were there.
My cousin and I only stayed one night. We were going on a cruise the next day. The staff was very helpful and accomadating by storing our bags until we could check-in, telling us how to get around Seattle and getting a taxi to take us to the pier.
The reception and house keeper was terrible!!!
