Quiet, close to shops, restraunts and hiking trail. Loved the patio.
My husband and I spent 3 nights at the Sebastopol Inn while our home remodel was being completed. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We felt safe so we relaxed and slept well. Coffee Katz (in the same complex) serves up a good breakfast and Community Market across the street filled our other needs.
Helpful staff, clean, plenty of room
My stay is colored by the fact that my husband was almost hit by a car while crossing a crosswalk near this hotel. Sebastopol Ave. is a dangerous street to cross - very busy and the cars travel very fast.
Quiet and clean. All rooms circled around courtyard with gliders and swings. No long dark hallways! Enjoyed our stay, 4 days.
too expensive. Lots of noise from room next door.
CLEAN ROOMS, EXCELLANT STAFF, IDEALLY LOCATED, LOTS OF EXTRAS(POOL, LANDSCAPE). WE HAVE STAYED HERE TWICE, WILL DO SO AGAIN NEXT SUMMER. GREAT LITTLE GEM, CANT BE BEAT.
WOULD REALLY LIKE SMALL MICROWAVE IN ROOM.
Location great. Best cafe ever was Gypsy Cafe recommended by the front desk.
A guy in Satanic garb and painted face was outside in the parking lot, then the desk clerk was in the lobby bowing to his elephant, while I was trying to check out.
Very convenient to stores and restaurants and bike path Large room- comfortable bed - good pool and outdoor spa that was at the correct temperature - 2nd floor unit was quiet and private.
Room was run down. It could use a good cleaning (carpet was dirty the first night and the edges needed vacuuming - dusty, old fingernail clippings).
pool large rooms
pricey no breakfast
Location, simple yet beautiful.
Rooms are generously spacious and very comfortable. The bed was perfect! Had a great night's rest. You cannot beat the location! Downtown is a five minute walk from the Inn. Next door is The Barlow, and the best coffee house in the West County, Coffee Catz. Would I stay there again, yes!
The clerk at the front desk was a tad abrupt and not too welcoming. Not a show stopper, but a bit surprising, especially for Sebastopol. Perhaps I caught him on a bad day?
My friend and I went mid week, so the hotel was not full but adequately occupied. Lots of nice people but very few at the lovely outdoor pool and really hot, clean spa. We were delighted with the whole place -- felt like we were in New Orleans! It's off the road yet in the center of all you need for a delightful getaway. The others who stayed there were universally sweet, lovely people. It was a lovely getaway for us and we will surely return. Many thanks to you, Sebastopol Inn!
There was nothing we did not like!
Sebastopol Inn was our favourite accommodation of the six we stayed in during our three weeks in the USA. It was clean, peaceful, the room very clean, comfortable and spacious. All staff were friendly. While there was no breakfast offered at the Inn there were several cafes in a short walking distance which offered excellent menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a café on the same grounds as the Inn and while it wasn't our favourite it was adequate.
Very clean rooms; nice balcony; good bed; Keurig coffee in the a.m. Coffee shop on the premises plus a great vegan restaurant. Very attractive site except for lack of landscaping. Garden area could use tables and chairs. Very comfortable place in a great location.
If i had a ton of money I would buy nice flowers for those neglected pots and bet the owners to water their garden. It would make the place look so much better. As each of the plants die, it will detract from the building which is well maintained. The cost of a few plants and some care in the garden is minimal and would make such a difference. All the other businesses there take great care of their outside grounds. Sad and frustrating!
The room was clean and quiet. Very nice courtyard with soothing waterfall. Staff was very friendly. Bed comfortable. Would recommend.
A little hard to get in and out of because the main road was pretty busy but worth the trouble.
It was nice and clean. The staff was polite and helpful. We ended up having to leave a day early because my wife was not feeling well and they refunded the one nights stay which was very nice of them considering they technically did not have too.
cool garden room, with a garden courtyard, hot tub, in town location near family, the bed comfy, the art, the vegetarian restaurant in front of the inn.
wish i could have stayed longer.
The staff were very gracious. The room and bathroom immaculate, though the furnishings were a bit "country" in a powder blue sort of way. I am already planning my next stay at Sebastopol Inn.
The friendly nature of the owner, the staff and everyone always want to help and be of service in every possible way
slightly dated and prices are sort of steep for the look and feel of the Inn
Overall we didn't feel The Sebastopol Inn was welcoming. There wasn't nothing appealing and it is a glorified motel. Our room wasn't horrendous but certainly not the cleanest we have had. Sorry, just didn't feel right.
Very nice quaint place. We were there on a Wednesday, so it was quiet. Loved the hard coffee mugs and wine glasses.
Great location, comfortable, clean, staff helpful, good value.
Location was central to event attending and town center is within walking distance - which meant groceries, restaurants etc where very close.
For a motel with no restaurant facilities there was only a coffee maker & fridge in the room. Would have been more practical to have a kettle instead (especially of you prefer tea). Would have loved to also have a toaster & possibly a microwave
