Jake at check in was very friendly and helpful... I'd have to say the highest in any category would be satisfactory.
Barbara at check in.. She wasn't even checking me in, but would answer questions rudely that I asked Jake! Food at Reds--- Save your money, you'd be happier at the MacDonalds down the street!
The resort fees + taxes made the stay $100 more. The lobby really needs updated.
The rooms are good. Nice to have the rooms be outdoors with an open, inside/outside reception area, gotta love the southwest. The location is good, very easy to get in and out of.
Seems overpriced. Especially the "Resort Fee." $30 per day for basically nothing. Includes 2 cheap bottles of water (which would cost 20 cents from the Safeway across the street), internet (which is free at even the cheapest hotels) one appetizer per day between 4&6 pm (as if anyone would be at their hotel at that time in outdoorsy Sedona) and that's about it. The fee was nonsense and made the stay cost more than it was worth.
Staff, pool, view and entire experience of the establishment.
Air conditioning blew directly onto bed without adjustment, and the pillows were very small and too soft.
I will say, the restaurant ('Reds') was absolutely fantastic -- while the service was pedestrian, the food was soooo much better than what I was expecting!
The 'view' from their Observation Deck was of a Safeway parking lot . . . really? Plus, they tried to strong-arm me at Check-In when I told them I had a Pet (a 4 lb. Maltese that is Hypoallergenic) to say there would be a $50 Fee -- this was total B.S. as the website welcomed Pets and said only, "Some charges may apply", which in no way mentioned $50 (on a $204 room!), which is totally absurd. After much arguing/debate, I got them to waive this charge at Check-Out, but it was a totally unnecessary and very embarrassing scene that could easily have been avoided with better clarity on this Booking.com website, which should shoulder the blame for not clearly articulating their policy. Had I known it, we would have booked somewhere else . . . shame on you!
Nasty front desk person "Jake"
We had an amazing room on the ground floor with our own garden and direct access to the pool and hot tub. The room was beautifully furnished and very spacious. The pool area and hot tub are lovely. The hotel itself is very well appointed and has lovely furnishing and statues in the lobby. We liked the free appetisers we got between 4-6pm!
The bar/restaurant closed at 9pm! Much too early! Wine was expensive - other than Weds when it was $5 a glass!
Your hotel was beautiful and close to surrounding local attractions that my husband and I were interested in visiting.
Fireplace in the room.
Dyanna in the Restaurant was one of the best bar tenders/servers I have experienced in the many restaurants I have been in.
First night we had to listen to the pump for the fountains running throughout the night. Was hard to sleep.
I don't know
The location; we really didn't need to drive at all. The hotel staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area.
I couldn't think of anything I could rate as "didn't like"
The rooftop overlook was a really nice place to relax in the evening.
I really liked the open-air lobby but there were loud people there every night and the sound carried into the rooms. Not the place to go if you want a quiet night.
All the staff was very friendly and professional in the hotel and restaurant Reds. Restaurant food and live music were very good. Can not comment on the Spa because we did not use it. The room was very beautiful and spacious, the bathroom was excellent. Housekeeping was excellent.
The hot spa next to the pool was not warm enough. After pointing that out it was fixed for a day but the next day it was cold again. I wish the pool area had a little view of the rocks since our room had no view at all. We also did not like the pillows very much, softer pillows would have been nice.
Clean, spacious room, with quality feel. Very good location, walkable to several local restaurant options. Good breakfast at reasonable price. Restaurant and bar staff very friendly and give good service.
Limited menu on Sunday/Monday evening. $19 resort fee is hard to make use of when the real values are only available 4pm to 6pm
I liked being treated with courtesy by all of the staff, and facilities exceeded my expectations. Fantastic Resort!
Having to leave!
The staff was outstanding and helpful in every way. The restaurant, Red? Was excellent as well.
The room was a bit small but still comfortable.
The view from our balcony was absolutely awesome! Service was very friendly. The wine and chocolate dipped strawberries for our anniversary from the hotel was a pleasant surprise as well.
Front desk person (Barbara) was very helpful because the room was not ready on time.
Loved staying at the Sedona Rouge Hotel. Reds restaurant was excellent and very well priced.
The shower, the room décor, the restaurant, and the spa amenities.
The view of Safeway from the observation deck.
The room was romantic fire place shower and the bed was very comfortable.
Located by a grocery store
The staff was friendly and very accommodating especially Mario and Isaiah. The food in the restaurant was good and a value for a resort. The shower was terrific.
The internet was very poor quality. There was several part of the room where it didn't work. The couch had dirt spots and was very uncomfortable. the "view" and balcony was a was a joke.
