Parking is very expensive
Well insulated rooms, no noise, slept great!
The hotel is very conveniently located. The service we received was excellent. The staff was very friendly and attentive and provided us with great food recommendations. I would choose this hotel again!
No warning from hotel reception that major construction would be taking place in room directly above mine. Glib reply from front desk when I asked why there was NO warning upon check-in.
Nicely decorated rooms and common areas, ideal location, impressive fitness center
No air flow on inner courtyard rooms.
The fan for the heating and/or cooling system (assuming that's what it was) for the building was on the roof right outside our room and quite noisy at night when trying to sleep. For the price we paid our room looked at a wall...
The service was excellent.
Cost of valet parking
The quiet room
It's expensive and it doesn't include breakfast
The hotel is nice, the rooms are nice, the bed was comfortable, the location is good.
We liked the location, the rooms were big and the postion of the TV was easy to see from bed.
Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Asked for a quiet room and it was. very clean and comfortable!
Inside room, no view.
Excellent restaurant in the building.
Walking distance to everything downtown. Quiet rooms Very clean Great room service Elegant night club and restaurant Classy
Free wifi was terrible. It showed a sting signal but took everything forever to load.
The room was very clean and cozy. They had a bar, restaurant and Starbucks all within the same building. Very charming and nice decor and furnishings. The bed was very comfortable.
Everyone that works here is great. They found out we were on our honeymoon and left a bottle of champagne and a note in our room. It made us feel very welcome. The bar and restaurant that are attached are also great.
space. good location. overall service.
It didn't bother us but some guest may not like the rowdy club environment the lobby transforms into. Its like a blemish on the an amazing hotel but maybe just not my scene.
Staff was very nice, helpful and informative. Room was outstanding. Location is excellent. The people go out of their way to be helpful. Also they have a great ice cream menu from local ice cream shop.
Room was a little small compared to other older historic hotels in the area. Valet parking is a little expensive at $36 a day.
The bed was comfortable. Staff at the front desk nice and helpful. Location is good. Everything is within walking distance.
They need a magnified make up mirror in the bathroom
Only small complaint is when we had a few quick bites to eat downstairs they didn't bring a copy of the bill first and just went ahead and ran the card. We asked for a copy and there were a couple discrepancies. Couple of the food menu items were not as the listed price on the menu. It was only a few dollars so wasn't a big deal. Also there lobby bar gets super busy and can get a little loud if you are staying on that side of the hotel and have have the windows open.
The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly from the moment we checked in, from the valets to the front desk hosts. The hotel looked amazing, everything was clean and well taken care of. They were kind enough to give us a free upgrade which my wife enjoyed. The room was amazing. It felt like a bedroom more than a hotel room. Even the hotel robes were super comftrable and if you go outside and look at the top of the building you'll see why it's called the sentinel.
Appreciated the free upgrade on the top floor. Very cool and packed bar downstairs. Cool interior design of lobby, halls, and rooms
I missed having a lighted makeup mirror in the bathroom.
The bed was the most comfortable bed that we ever slept in at a hotel! The staff was above board! They went the extra mile to make sure that we were comfortable..
The bathroom in the suite we were in was very very small
Customer service was Awesome! Very friendly and super helpful
Valet parking is very expensive $36 per night. Its true that smoking was not allowed, but I wished that the Hotel designated a proper place for the guests instead of going out to street.
Offering the valet parking as complementary for Hotel guest as hotel rate is quite high.
The bus/trolley going by outside the window regularly all night made it hard to get a good night's sleep. The valets were very service oriented but I like knowing where my car is at all times.
The room was lovely - clean and beautifully appointed. The Sentinel was very charming over all and the staff was helpful and friendly.
wonderful location, friendly staff, and much attention to detail.
