The location, the hotel look. The tranquillity in the lobby, the coffe and the tea in the moorning. The bathroom little bit small, and the windows that you can not open, but there a work in progrss to change them right now. |

An architectural gem, mainly the lobby. Loved that the gym had TV screens on each machine. Nice bathrooms. Friendly staff. Food options were a bit overpriced. Furniture in the room was a bit dated. The neighborhood borders some dodgy bits but on the other hand is very well located for Union Sq shopping. |

We love the Kimpton Hotels. The staffs are always friendly & accommodating. The decore is inviting, comfortable and stylish. We enjoyed the international mix of guests; even kids and dogs; the happy hour in the lobby brought people together to meet and chat that created a friendly warmth. The restaurant was great too! Location was a convenient for Union Square and we also enjoyed the proximity to the Hotel Monaco...for another great restaurant experience in the Grand Cafe. Parking was extra and during the holidays expensive. |

I stayed at this place on New Year's Eve for significantly less through Booking.com versus other hotels. Highly recommended. Valet Parking Only and was $45 on Holiday. |

We found all the staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and the bed was excellent. Thought there should be free internet access in the business centre. |

The restaurant in the hotel was convenient. The hotel staff was very helpful. Loved the happy hour with free wine. They did have a mistake on my bill, but took care of it promptly and courteously. |

The hotel was charming, the decor elegant and refined and our room very spacious and beautifully appointed. The staff were superb - nothing was too much trouble when it came to offering help with transport, local attractions etc. The location was marvellous for getting around San Francisco - close to Union Square and all public transport including the quaint trams, but quiet. We enjoyed one of the wine tasting evenings and mixing with other guests in the lobby of the Hotel. We were impressed with the welcome for "doggie guests" - although ours was home in New Zealand! |
