El tramo anterior de La calle Taylor en donde se ubica el hotel es un poco lúgubre, con pabellones cerrados y esta repleta de vagabundos, no se meten contigo pero no es agradable. Sin embargo, a partir de la manzana del hotel cambia radicalmente y no hay ningún problema.

El hotel esta muy bien situado, la decoracion del lobby y de las habitaciones es muy bonita, y el servicio buenoy el personal es muy atento. Excelente alternativa para esta ciudad.

We found all the staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and the bed was excellent.

Thought there should be free internet access in the business centre.

The hotel was charming, the decor elegant and refined and our room very spacious and beautifully appointed. The staff were superb - nothing was too much trouble when it came to offering help with transport, local attractions etc. The location was marvellous for getting around San Francisco - close to Union Square and all public transport including the quaint trams, but quiet. We enjoyed one of the wine tasting evenings and mixing with other guests in the lobby of the Hotel. We were impressed with the welcome for "doggie guests" - although ours was home in New Zealand!

Very friendly staff, loved the doormen, location, cleanliness of the room, nice linens and towels, aveda products, room is nicely renovated and doesn't feel old and musty.

I thought the bed could be a little more comfortable. I thought the mattress was a little too hard. I understand that mattress comfort is hard to accommodate since every person is different. Thank you!

Familiar atmosphere

the dog part! I was awake 3 to 4 times at 4 in the morning with dog barking. I really did not appreciate that aspect of my stay at the Serrano Hotel.

The bed was one of the most comfortable ever. It was nice and quaint, and the architecture was classic.

The room was a bit small for the price, and the website shows the lobby for its sister hotel, the Monaco, while giving the impression it is the Serrano. The Monaco has a larger lobby that is more luxurious and elaborate.

Room clean and very confortable, quite and with amenities to make your stay very enjoyable.

The position is very close to Union Square but also very close to Tenderloin that is an area to be avoid at all.

Close to attractions and cable car f line. Comfortable bed with refrig, nice tv and shower.

Too close to Tenderloin and panhandlers.

Very close to Union Square, China Town, and other intersting sites at SFO. Good Vaue for the money.

No coffee maker at the room, no coffee available but in the morning.

We were quite surprised when we walked through the doors into the grand lobby, we arrived early but they had no problem with getting us a room after the long flight. The room was very nice and the bed and pillows were heaven! The staff was always very friendly and helpful in directions and suggestions for restaurants. This lovely hotel is located in Union Square near shopping and the trolley car on Powell St which made it very easy for shopping and getting to Fisherman's Wharf. They had a happy hour with wine tasting for the adults and Wii and other board games for the children. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely would return and recommend this hotel to others.
