The room size was excellent for the price. It was close to everything The decor needs re-doing, it was very tired. They did not serve breakfast yet I was lead to believe that it was included in the price |

Seton Hotel is a great place to stay in Manhattan, and the location near Central Terminal is perfect. We just stayed there for 8 days in the newly renovated "Princess room". It was a great, very clean and modern room, with a lovely bathroom and very quiet. The price is OK, we would have liked to have breakfast at the hotel. The service was great, and the people at Seton were very friendly, we really felt like "coming home" after long days in NY. I can only recommend it. Breakfast |

The location is perfect!10 Minutes (walk+subway) to Times Square, 3mintues on feet to the Chrysler Building. Not noisy and in a safe zone. Relaxing room is good, you can drink hot beverages (free), watch tv or read...whatever you want, and there's free internet access,too, very good things. I liked the bed, not too soft, the big mirror, the guardrobe, the tv... Location perfetta,vicinissima a Times Square e Chrysler Building. Buona stanza relax con internet,tv,bevande calde (gratis) e la tv in stanza. Very very very old fashion hotel, with broken parts anywhere (it was built in 1931 and I think that no one tried to renew it). Very very very slow elevator. Carpet not really clean, bathroom......I Didn't have a shower in those days...too old, dirty and....oooh!! It was the worst part for me. Old forniture in the room, so old that...oh gosh why don't they buy something new!? Vecchissimo hotel (1931 e mai rinnovato abbastanza), parti rotte ovunque. Tappeti sporchi e mobili in stanza troppo vecchi. Bagno sporchissimo!!! Non sono riuscita a farmi la doccia quei giorni!I Recommend it only if you want a cheap and good location hotel, but just for 2 or 3 days, you shouldn't stay for a long time if you have problem with not really clean bathroom!! |

Perfect midtown location, excellent for sightseeing in NYC. It is not a fancy hotel, but for it's location it is a fair price for what is offered. Carpets and paintwork in the hallways could do with replacement. |

The location was fantastic; just a few minute' walk from central venues/attractions such as the Chrysler building and Grand Central Station, yet not too noisey. The area felt safe. The staff were very accommodating of our needs (e.g. left luggage facility). The complimentary breakfast was a good selection of pastries, muffins and bagels. Good range of tourist brouchures/vouchers available. The breakfast room had seating only for 8 people at a time, meaning that it became a bit crowded and people had to stand/sit of settee arms. We asked for a room change because it was impossible to open the curtain (it was anchored at both ends). The recpetion/management staff seemed surprised that this was the case, but immediately offered us another room. This had the same problem (we ended up tying the curtain up), suggesting to me that the management staff don't know their rooms very well. |

I was informed by Booking.com that I would receive a $40.00 credit because Seton Hotel did not have the room with 2 double beds. When I checked out, the Manager told me that I could not have the credit, and was disrespectful to me. I intend to dispute my bill with my credit card company. Worst hotel I ever stay. Will advise people to stay away from this place. Awful. |

The Location of the Hotel is the only good thing about it. Room ,No Wifi in rooms inspite of the fact that it says so.You just get the signal down stairs in the lounge.Breakfast place is very small for the amount of people staying at the hotel. |

Location was great less than 5 mins from Central Station - Clean room carpet, bedding & mattress - Breakfast had limited choice but plentiful supply- All Staff I met were VERY polite - . Nice big clean towels & face cloth changed daily & free mini soap bars. TV was O.K. - Free good quality coffee/tea/hot chocolate available 24 hours The hall way carpets were absolutely filthy. Room furniture was old it needs to be replaced. My private toilet was tiny (but clean) and the separate shower just opened into the room with a badly fitting plastic shower curtain. Air Con also very old and noisy. |

The location is excellent, the staff very friendly and they were cleaning all the time, whether the rooms or the bathrooms. The carpet in the room was not very clean. |

It's location was perfect!you can go many importan places by walking. I took the room with queen size bed and the private bathroom. The bed was comfort and the bathroom was redecorated.It was really clean. You can get free coffee and tea from the lounge room on the entrance. The continental breakfast was also very good. If you are looking for a clean, low-price hotel in New York with a good location, you should make reservation in Seton Hotel. The hotel building was very old and humudity. The elevator was also old. |

Sehr zentral gelegen, obwohl ruhige Straße. Wenn man Glück hat, bekommt man ein etwas größeres Zimmer (waren zwei mal dort, beim zweiten mal hatten wir Pech und ein winziges Zimmer). Trotzdem: wer nicht gerade viel zahlen möchte und wer ein bisschen stärkere Nerven hat und zentral wohnen möchte, dem sei das Seton Hotel empfohlen. Fenster waren schwierig zu öffnen, interessanter Geruch in den Gängen und Zimmern, Gemeinschaftsbäder könnten öfter gereinigt werden, Frühstück bestand aus klebrigen Brötchen, Orangensaft und Kaffee, überaus kleine Zimmer und für zwei Personen ein sehr kleines Bett. Man sollte ein größeres Zimmer bestellen (siehe oben). Hotel ist alles in allem ein bisschen heruntergekommen, aber akzeptabel. |

the location was very good!!! 2 blocks fron grand central, Chrysler building and near bryant park and times square by walking... Smelly and small elevator...old furniture...they dindnt change the sheets and i was there one week...the breakfast was poor every day, no variety and there is only one table and 4 chairs for all guests....breakfast is from 8 am to 10 am..8 am was too late for me!! |

It was in a good location, and my room had airconditioning which was needed. When I finally arrived I was told that my room was cancelled and instead of just organising a new one straight away. They tried to work out why it had been cancelled which took ages |
