We actually ended up not staying, after we were given the key for the padlock that was on the door of the cabin. The mattresses were at least 30 years old, there were cobwebs all over, there were cracks in the walls where you could see through to the outside, not at all pleasant.

Our cabin was primitive and the heat didn't work. It was almost like tent camping but without the tent.

They offered excursions of many different types. The location is great.

The room was old and needed updating and very primative.

For the price this place as awesome! Very charming! Loved the wood stove! After camping in the rain this was a much welcomed nights sleep!

We stayed in the one bedroom cabin. It was very rustic, but did have a microwave and fridge and a slow combustion fire. We were able to buy firewood. This was great value for money but expect basic decore and a short walk to the amenities block. Bring your own towel. Linen can be hired for a small fee. The free coffee and the ability to buy a muffin for breakfast was very much appreciated.

We used a cabin in the campground. The cabin was very basic but adequate for our needs and provided relatively cheap accommodation in a good, water-front location, which for us was preferable to a standard and impersonal motel room.

Your advise mentions "Deluxe Room" but it's not true, it's more "ramshackle room", we have preferred to leave early even we have paid for 2 nights. Globally the cabin (Chief Mate's cabin) is uncomfortable, specially the bed (Year 1950 standard ...)

The price was right and it was certainly rustic. The Lookout cabin looked exactly like the picture on the web site minus the chair on the porch. Linens were clean if not a little worn. The views from the campsite were phenomenal. Lots of laid back, friendly dogs wandering freely. Clean restroom facilities.

It would have been beneficial to have a small stack of dry firewood that actually fit into the small wood burning stove. Quiet hours were not observed, late night noise. Would not recommend this place to travellers. Campers will enjoy it though.

Close to Seward, getaway from the crowds.

This is a beautiful place, and everyone is super friendly. Its a great dog friendly place, where happy pups can roam and play on the beach. The seaside cabin was quaint - but in spring with the day temps reaching 60, it was 30 at night and freezing cold in the cabin!!!!!!!! The tiny wood stove only kept the place warm for a couple of hours- I rented bedding but it was one sheet, pillow cases and one thin electric blanket that didn't work. I ended up sleeping in the back of my suv from 2am on with my dogs w car running to stay warm. Advice- bring warm sleeping bags and fire starters and you'll love it. Can't beat the nice people,price or view!

Horrible. The logging was advertised as cabins in the forest near waterfront and the pictures posted on website were very nice. Instead we were placed in the dirty little fleapit with horrible smell inside. The furniture and interior were new and clean about 50 years ago. All around were RVs and cabins similar to ours. Forget about forest or waterfront, you will never see them from this property. Please be aware that the advertisement for this place has nothing to do with the reality

Beschreibung entsprach nicht der Realität: "Meerblick" ohne Meerblick, stattdessen direkt an der Zufahrtstraße. Mitarbeiter vor Ort wiesen uns unfreundlich ab. Erst nach zwei Stunden und endlosen Telefonaten wurde uns ein ruhigerer Ersatz angeboten. Versprochene Erstattung ist bisher (nach vier Wochen) nicht erfolgt.

It was rustic, but we had lots of room in our 4 bedroom cottage. It was a short drive to our other activities.

The grounds aren't very attractive. But, it met our needs.

The cabin was not clean; the sofa and matching chair were so dirty that we wouldn't even sit on them. The mattress was stained. The shower was a pipe coming out of the wall. We were told that to heat the place, we could use the free-standing fireplace. However, it was so full of ashes that a fire could not be lit, and there was no pail to remove the existing ashes.

The cabins were roomy and bedding was comfortable.

We arrived early and they won't let us in the cabin until 4 even though we could see that the cabin had been cleaned. The cleaning lady let us in cabin to wait our 2 hrs until 4. The next morning when checking out there were two young girls checking in and they clerk asked another worker to check cabin and check them in at noon. I asked so the rules are different daily, that we couldn't check in until 4 the day before. I felt as though we had been discrimated against the day before. They should keep the rules the same daily. I was very unhappy about this and expressed it to the clerk and no response or apoligy.
