Seward Front Row Bed and Breakfast

The view, cleanliness, hosts.

Seward Front Row B & B has a fabulous location. It is new and clean with well-appointed rooms. It is convenient to everything in Seward. Tom and Lori are fabulous hosts. Check-in and check-out were easy and friendly.

However, Seward Front-Row B & B is not a true b&b. Breakfast is not served. It is self service. This does not mean a buffet line of prepared items. You share the kitchen with the family. That is not bad and goes smoothly, but clients need to understand the arrangement beforehand. We found it confusing trying to figure out whose food was whose since some guests brought food and others did not. We also found it difficult to rummage through a strange kitchen to fix breakfast. Overall, this is a great accomodation if travelers can adapt to the self-service and sharing aspects.

The full kitchen privilege allowed us to make breakfast, sack lunch, and dinner according to our special (Ayurvedic) diet. Chatting with the other guests and the owner made for a nice evening's relaxation as well.

Location is great, room was clean.

It is a bed and breakfast and you are staying in the owner's house. Unless you want to stay in your room, you will be sitting in the owner's living room having a converstation with him/his family. Also, breakfast is available if you want to cook it - not a big deal (we didn't eat there), but not really a "bed and breakfast" style.

Close to downtown Seward rather than harbour

Room was somewhat cramped and basic. "Breakfast included" meant that a limited ( not enough) breakfast supplies were made available for a make-it-yourself breakfast. I had to buy in more breakfast supplies.

Very nice, welcoming family. Made us feel right at home. The location was perfect, with awesome water and mountain views.Very pleasant stay.

The supplies for breakfast were scant. The room had no ventilation. We asked for a fan and was told we would get one but did not. The noise factor was awful...stomp stomp stomp...we were in the lowest level with a small dirty window. Save your money!

Location was best in town! View was amazing!

What a clean an fresh Place !!! Beautiful view and a wonderful location to walk two-three blocks to a quaint downtown !! The Owner and Heather are Wonderful .. We will be back ... John & Judy Houston tx

Nothing was wrong at all !!!!

Perfect location with wonderful views of the mountains and Resurrection Bay! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. Great breakfast provided, too. Tom was a very friendly host.

Breakfast gab es eigentlich kaum, nur Kaffee - allerdings aus frisch gemahlenen Bohnen - und Eier, die man sich selber machen musste/durfte. Dafür stand aber die ganze Küche inkl. ein Kühlschrank den ganzen Tag zur Verfügung - sehr gut für Selbstversorger (gutes Einkaufszentrum ca. 5 Autominuten).. 2 BBQs im Aussenbereich. Gastgeber sehr freundlich, insbesondere Tom sehr kommunikativ, inkl. Tipps für Besuchsziele.

エグジット氷河へ行くにも、氷河クルーズに参加するにも便利な立地だった。B&Bと言うからには朝食が出る- かと思ったが、勝手に自分で作れと言う事で、7時からの朝食予定だったが、6時から勝手に食べさせてもらっ- た。チェックアウトも誰も出て来ず、勝手に出発 させてもらい、クルーズツアーに間に合った。

チェックインは、B&Bではできず、近くのスワンネストの事務所まで行かなければできなかった。あまりサッ- パリし過ぎていて、誰も居ないのにチェックアウトして良いのか心配になった。

La maison où nous avons été logée est superbe avec une magnifique vue sur le fjord et les montagnes. Les propriétaires sont agréables. Une fois les consignes reçues nous les avons juste aperçu.

C'est la première fois que les propriétaires nous invitent à faire comme chez nous, à ouvrir les placards, à préparer son petit déjeuner et à ranger.

Enorme spazio comune (soggiorno/cucina) con vetrate sul mare, elegantemente arredato. Frigo, cucina, soggiorno a totale disposizione degli ospiti. La porta del b&b è sempre aperta, arriviamo e non c'è nessuno ma, alla porta della nostra camera, troviamo un appunto col nome e le chiavi. Il proprietario passa la mattina e si intrattiene piacevolmente con gli ospiti, per il resto del tempo è come se fossi a casa tua.

Camere un po' piccole a causa della recente ristrutturazione. Lontano dal nuovo centro di Seward (porto piccolo ed agenzie) ma limitrofo al vecchio e piacevole centro storico.

Unique woodwork and decor. Clean and new. Beautiful view and comfortable.

This is a private home with 3-4 rooms. Each with private bath. Great location overlooking Resurection Bay and surrounding mountains. A lovely modern, new and spotlessly clean home. The owner made the beds himself and they are works of art. Great place for the price.

Location and cleanliness

Understanding what I was paying $152 for. The owner appeared the day of departure and told us we could fix our own breakfast as he stood looking on, encouraging us to just look around and we could find what we needed. Very awkward.

Views were wonderful. Bed was comfortable.

Breakfast first day- no milk little cereal no bread. Second day after complaining still no bread. Room very noisy clearly hear people in next room. Owners appeared to be unconcerned about our well being.

Very comfortable stay. The homeowners treated you like family. The location looks out over Ressurection Bay and is within walking distance to the main street for shopping and dinner.

Although this wasn't a problem for us, you make your own breakfast. They have a fresh baked sweet bread each morning and fruit available as well as eggs, milk, juice, cereal, etc.
