Beautiful home, great location and Rika is the best!
right on the harbour couldn't ask for better views. Full use of the kitchen and lounge room no TV which was a bonus.
The house in front of the resurrection bay, the view is breathtaking. Very close to the main street with many restaurants and sealife museum. The owner and his property manager were very friendly, helpful. You can join the prepare breakfast in the swan nest inn, if you don't want to prepare your own breakfast.
Location Is perfect. My second time there only this time with a spouse. Bed barely big enough for two so we used the Murphy bed which did the trick. Place getting some age on it so upstairs was evident when dog scratching, gramps milling about or when TV is on. Quiet time 11-7 observed. Tons of amenities. Heated floor. Near downtown walking distance. View unsurpassed even in the rains of September 2014.
Only one orange juice for two people, two days. I suppose I could've called the hosts for resupply. Used last of coffee... Eggs... Bread... Left milk, Ham, butter & home made cranberry bread. Place as I left it two years ago. Very good value for one person. Wireless did not work for us Even with PW. Not a big deal. Little traffic noise.
Tom was an amazing host andSarah did a great job with breakfasts. Had a wonderful time in Seward!
The view is wonderful - right on the bay with high mountains and glaciers in view. Great walking path along the water to go watch the salmon swim up stream. Tom is a great host. Close to down town, museum and aquatic center.
The view from the front room is breathtaking. Clean and pleasant accomodations.
The experience is wonderful, especially there is a big living room and a friendly dog.
The property manager Sarah was very friendly,m helpful and knowledgeable. And her homemade bread was really yummy!
Beautiful home, stunning view with lovely kitchen available
bathroom not that clean ( hairs in shower) Weird hand made bed had huge piece of wood in part of headboard that you could easily hit head in night . Neither milk nor butter were replenished had to walk up road and ask for them . Rooms not serviced daily. I personally found Tom the owner at bit intrusive especially joining in private conversation well after 10pm but others may not have been bothered
Front Row B&B is a fine lodge in a fabulous location. The owners are delightful people and Seward is a magical little village. All the prices are very high, though one must realize the season is short, not to mention the chore of getting merchandise there. We'll return again sometime in the future!
Comfy bed, gorgeous picture windows in the main sitting area to enjoy an evening tea, and then again in the am with coffee and breakfast!
Wish there had been a tub...but I'm a tub gal. The shower was spacious and roomy enough for two ;)
Location - "Downtown Seward", not on the north harbor end. Flexibility of check-in time - they accomodated us when the train arrived around noon Great food recommendations - We got the fish we caught cooked at Apollo's Beautiful house Friendly house dog
Thinner shared walls, felt like we needed to whisper. Food provided to make your own breakfast - To be fair, their other location in town does hot breakfast, but we were often leaving for activities too early to head to another location for food first.
Awesome views! Shared gourmet kitchen and spacious living room with balcony overlooking Resurrection Bay. This B&B is perfect for people who appreciate cooperative living with all the comforts of home. Excellent hosts!
Nothing negative here...
view Quiet Could cook meal.
The location. The view. Rikka the dog. Our hosts.
Not too much to like. We got a bed and a do it yourself breakfast.
Being taken for a ride, this establishment was overpriced for what was provided. There were no facilities for tea /coffee in the bedroom. Having to share the kitchen to prepare our own breakfast is not our idea of how B&B normally works. Also there was no mention of a dog in the house before we arrived and we did not like the smell. These people are having a laugh at our expense and we would not recommend them to any one.
This property has the most spectacular views over Resurrection Bay and is extremely close to the Sealife Centre and restaurants. A very tranquil spot to rest up after a day's whale and glacier trip!
If you are looking for a prepared cooked breakfast there is a very short walk to the Swan's Nest. If you are okay with self service breakfast then all is available at the Seward Front Row - with the benefit of those views!
The location is astounding . Sits right next to the bay . Otters out a night. Owner's suggestion and assistance above and beyond. .
Nothing. All good .
The hotel, the view, the comfy bed, fun to make own breakfast while chatting with the owner about the history of Seward.
Everything. the views, location and the house is just great. Breakfast is way better than average.
Nothing. It was just that outstanding.
The view from the living room was amazing. Very clean home and fully stocked kitchen to use as needed. Comfy bed and plenty of space.
Showed up with 2 small children and were told children not allowed. Not very friendly when being told this but thankfully we had the downstairs room which allowed kids. Didn't know the no children rule until we showed up and weren't treated very nicely when he saw the kids. Once that was resolved it was fine.
Beautiful hand made furniture, a total work of art, everything was perfect. Enjoyed every moment.
The fact that I had to depart for Anchorage. ;-(
