Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott San Francisco Airport  

The only thing that was good about this hotel was that it was close to the airport and we had a room at the back that was quiet. The bed was comfortable. Other than that....not good.

The price of $209 for the night was definitely not worth it. The hotel is in need of updating. The decor of the lobby, hallways and rooms is very old and shabby. The towels in the room were thin and small and in need of being replaced. The initial feeling when entering the lobby was not good. It had the most awful Halloween decorations all over the check in desk - very tacky and in bad taste. It reminded me of a $49.99 motel and that was about what it was worth. The breakfast was badly set up and not at all appealing. I wouldn't stay there again.

For us it was its proximity to the airport and its shuttle. That was the reason we booked it in the first place. Quite honestly, it was also the least expensive place I could find for that evening. I knew when we arrived we would be just back from a two week cruise and wanting to get home as easily as possible. Having stayed often in Fairfield Inn and Suites I figured it would fit the bill nicely. And it did. I was also pleasantly surprised to find so many choices of restaurants within walking distance. We chose Thai Stick and were very pleased with the food. The Kitchen also appeared to be a popular spot. Don't often get two choices so close together.

Way to much money for the product. I have stayed in nicer rooms for less than $100.

Cost to Location

I was woken up in the middle of the night by a faulty fire alarm, asked to change my room in the middle of the night, which I did. I expected a compensation without asking. I did ask but was told to file a complaint. sorry no time to waste...... Never recevied even a appology....

It was full of light, clean, friendly, good value, great breakfast.

Close to airport and being abel to leave my car.

Shuttle service. Waiting at the airport in the rain for 35 min. Tobe picked up to return to the Hotel at 11.00 Pm. Watching other Hotel shuttles go by 2 or 3 times.

Horrible noise in room!!!

サンフランシスコ市内まで走る地下鉄の最寄り駅からホテルまで徒歩圏内。スーツケースを引きながらでしたが- 、駅から歩いてホテルまで向かいました。 治安も心配なく、周りにアジア系のレストランも多く夕食には困ることはなかったです。近くにセブンイレブン- も。部屋には冷蔵庫や電子レンジもあり、朝は暖かいビュッフェ形式の朝食をいただけました。簡素なメニュー- でしたが十分でした。 部屋も広く、バスルームも綺麗でした。１２時チェックアウトなのも良かったです。

やはりサンフランシスコ市内を観光する目的だと、少し離れた位置ではあります。

Proximity to bart, shops and Airport. Clean and cozy room with free Wifi and 2 flat screen TVs. Front desk was accomodative to allow early check -in at 1 pm. Breakfast was good. Hotel provides free shuttle.

The hotel offers a free shuttle bus to the airport which was of much use especially early in the morning or late in the night when there is no bart operating. The bart station is only 5 min walk away an brings you to San Francisco downtown in about 30 min. Nearby are also some restaurants which are most often chinese but also italian. As a good chinese restaurant I could recommend Lai Lai which is just one street from the hotel. The rooms/suites are very clean and there is also a guest laundry available. The breakfast offers quite a choice among different foods (warm and cold) like bread, bagels, yoghurt, cereals, eggs, juice and coffee.

If you have a vehicle with you, you could park it in the hotel parking. However it's not free and costs you 8.50 $ per day.
