close enough to slopes.
one major problem. There is no sidewalk and there should be. We were competing with buses etc to get to the slopes.
Price, convinence, very nice staff. Great for mountain resort ski trips. Attached Ski shop is very helpful. Would definitely visit again! Location is excellent.
Temp in room slightly high, overall a great place to stay, noise between rooms does tend to carry.
Liked the casual atmosphere of the place. The staff in the gear rental shop Utah Ski and Golf were really helpful and friendly. The gear was good too.
Housekeeping wasn't great.
proximity to ski lift.
Noise from local buses 18 hours a day; lack of amenities.
Had a family emergency, tried to cancel and was asking to change dates or give me some money back or at least a bit of credit that I could come back and use it. Staff was not friendly and just told me no refunds no returns, doesn't matter what happens. Money lost, vacation lost, glad my family member survived
Excellent location. Walking distance to lifts!
During our 7 day stay, the room was not cleaned regularly , including the bathrooms.
Proximity to ski lifts, easy access to bus stops.
Area is very busy thus quite noisy with all traffic levels from buses to private cars.
The condo had full kitchen very handy but you will need a car if you want anything other than vending machine. No breakfast, no coffee, not even ski storage.
You will have to hike ~.3 miles to the lifts and when you are with 2 kids it's kind of difficult. 3 pairs of ski, poles and kids - when you do this 2-3 times a day you are tired before you hit the slopes.
- Hotel is located at the base of the Park City Mountain Resort - a 2 minute walk to all things snow sport related - Staff is friendly - Room was clean, though furniture and towels have seen better days - Sink was separated from tub / toilet by a door which was really great for multiple people needing to get ready in the morning
- Hotel is noisy with street noise (our room faced the parking lot) and the sound of every toilet flushing in the hotel seemed to come through our room - The front desk closes down at night completely so there is no staff on duty after 8pm. As a young female traveling, this made me fairly uncomfortable as anyone could walk into the hotel, go up the elevators, and walk around the rooms without notice (the sign on the doors to lock the deadbolt for your personal safety didn't help)
Close to ski hill Reasonably prices Staff was great
Room was noisy
Quiet. Clean comfortable.
the location, parking and the place we stayed was just the right size.
Price and location.
No on at desk for check in.
good location and the bed was nice. It was an ok stay.
Nothing really worked. Even though there was three showers no one could shower together or the water temp would fluctuate. There was no salt and pepper in the shakers. The heat has problems it wouldn't work then it did and then it wouldn't shut off. The pool was freezing cold definitly not swimable the kids and we were very disappointed about that
I really enjoy Shadow Ridge, this is my third time staying here and I've gotten a beautiful room every time. Clean rooms, cozy beds and nice kitchens. The location to Main Street is fantastic. There are lots of local bars and restaurants within walking distance and the Alpine slide and coaster are just across the street at Park City Mountain Resort.
The spa facilities are being renovated right now and nothing was mentioned on the website.
Location Ease of parking Extras available
Beds were comfortable. Location good.
Housekeeping is limited but we did not even get our bed made up, our trash taken out or fresh towels. Front desk staff are only on duty until 5 pm so if you need something make sure you ask before then.
Suite was huge - so much space! - and well equipped. Hotel was virtually deserted most of the time (unsurprisingly for a ski resort in August) so it was mostly very peaceful, and well-situated on the edge of the centre of Park City
There was no-one at the desk at check-in, although help was accessible by phone, and on our last night we did have some noisy neighbours.
Price a little high for an older condo looks like they are trying to remodel workers woke us up early Check in after hours was a weird process since there was no key in the safe for us.
There was plenty of space for our family. We also liked that it had 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen.
There was noise all throughout the night from people in the hall and you could hear the tv in the room next to us.
Located next to the Park City Mountain Resort which is a major stop for all of the free bus lines in PC. This allowed us to not have to deal with parking downtown. You can also take the free bus to Deer Valley for their summer concerts. The place was quiet and clean.
The custodian went over and beyond as we found that our car had a flat tire in the parking garage and he was able to provide air to get us back on the road to have this fixed, very much appreciated!!
Lobby was nice, location was good, room was clean. Appreciated the mini fridge.
I am sure it was wonderful 20 years ago. While overall clean and lobby was renovated, our room was very dated, not the best beds. Was adequate for our one night stay but that is all. Definitely not for seniors ... Very awkward to get in and out of the tub, I even had to assist my very independent 10 year old with the shower doors.
The check-in person was very friendly and very informative about amenities in the area. The bathroom area was nice. The microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot were nice additions. The location was nice and accessible to many things.
The whole room seemed to slope to one end. We only had a half a roll of toilet paper and there was no one available to get more after hours, which were early. The pillows were lacking any shape or filling and the hair dryer worked for about 2 minutes.
