Bob and Mary are excellent hosts! Prices are extremely sharp considering how much they offer: we had red wine and quiche upon arrival which couldn't have been better!

Everything was thought of. The smallest details were covered. I have never been as impressed with accomendations as I was with Shaker Mill Inn's. There were extra pillows but none were feathered pillows.

Our room was great - there was a small propane (I think) fireplace and soft music was on when we arrived, along with some complimentary wine! A great start to a really relaxing weekend. The Berkshires are beautiful and West Stockbridge is a nice jumping off point to go exloring. We loved the Inn because it's also a 1 minute walk to the Shaker mill Tavern, where we had a great meal. We had a really enjoyable stay. No complaints! We were skeptical about the breakfast at first, because there's a little basket with scones, muffins, etc. and it didn't seem enough....or hot. And then we realized that there was more food in the fridge, and we had a toaster oven, and were able to have breakfast at our leisure, nice and hot and absolutely delicious. The quiche was amazing, as were the other treats.

Modern rooms. Light and heat on when we arrived. Sorry I forgot to leave the key in the room; I mailed it back to you yesterday. Beautiful setting all around the building. Very close to many places to eat. No sign clearly indicating location of rear entrance.

--privacy; access to good restaurants, walking/hikingMass Pike-NYS Thruway; helpful staff --kitchen area could have been more thoroughly cleaned before I arrived. --would have liked better lighting along driveway (for walking home from dinner).
