Run down condition of room, tight quarters, damaged door jambs needing repair, dirty pool deck with old stains and overall unkempt appearance indicating a deliberate desire to not spend money on keeping a shining face on public facilities. Phyllis Family with older children Ozone Park, United States of America February 21, 2013	Staff was wonderful. From the bellhop to the front desk to the pool boy and the river room staff. Every one was so nice to deal with. The grounds look like they should be on a post card. Very close to Shawnee Mt. Ski area. Which is why we were there. I love the place, can't wait to go back next year for a longer stay. May even try to come back in the summer to relax by the river with a couple of good books. Thin walls in room and room a little small for a set of parents and a 15 year old. Will get two rooms next time one for us and one for our son. Did you find this review helpful?	9.6

Anonymous Solo traveler United States of America May 1, 2012	Stayed at the Inn while passing thru as a scouting trip. Exterior and golf course look appealing (didn't get to play), public spaces look inviting at first. A closer look however, shows the place needs a major restoration. Hotel room was lackluster. Clearly it was once a nice place that had a very cheap update with low quality DYI materials. Room was dusty. Walls are thin, so felt a bit like sleeping in the hallway. Paint peeling on windows, wallpaper coming loose in spots, varnish worn off doors. Clearly minimal effort goes into maintaining guest rooms. Real shame as the Inn is an old beauty in need of TLC. The geographic location are gorgeous. If it were done over, it would be a very appealing place to go for a get away weekend as there are lots of outdoor activities in addition to golf.
