|Kings Court Motel Ridgeway is located in Martinsville. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with air conditioning.|
Nothing but leaving the place.
The room was very outdated and there were no supplies at all in the room when we arrived. Two of the lights and air conditioning did not work. Spent $200 on a $50 room because of the demand for rooms for the race in Martinsville, VA.
There are plenty of shopping centers and restaurants nearby.
The hotel room was conpletely overpriced for the quality of the stay. The towels stunk of mildew. The bathroom was not clean and had hair on the shower walls. The bedding smelled of mildew as well. The room smelled like it hadnt been used/cleaned for a couple of months. The toilet water was shutoff upon arrival. The breakfast that was provided was horrible! I do not even think it could of been considered a breakfast. There was coffee and stale brownie lookin pieces in a plastic container. Awful overly priced stay,
The room was filthy and needed major upgrades. For that amount of money a night I expected to at least stay in a clean room. The pictures on their website must have been pulled from another hotels website because they were fake.
Well for starters the language barrier is very frustrating. The place was absolutely filthy and run down. I understand you get what you pay for, but for race weekend because everything is jacked up anyway,we expected it to be at least clean for $167/night. Even the bathroom inside the office area was filthy.
The fact that it as close as it stated to Martinsville Speedway.
the price was outrages just because of Race weekend -- I wouldn't stay there again unless it was an emergency-- had to have the bathroom worked on before we could use it then the water ran most of the night
the beds were ok
bed broken fridge didnt work
it was clean and quite nice staff
Low water pressure. Low height of shower head. Pressure was adequate for bathing. Cracked faceplate of electrical outlet. Loose carpet at the lavatory. All things age but the faceplate is a safety issue with small children.
Comfortable mattress and pillows.
Far from Greensboro, but I should have booked earlier. The owner, was helpful with directions for travel .
There is a laundromat close by as well as plenty of restaraunts. For a business traveler everything was just fine.
THE CARPET WAS WET WHERE IT LEAKED N THE DOOR FROM THE RAIN. ROOM IS VERY DATED. MUSTY SMELL..THE BATHROOM WAS OK BUT AGAIN ITS VERY OUTDATED
PRICE WASN'T HORRIBLE,
Accomodations are a bit dated but if you're just looking for a room for the night, you'll have no complaints.
Very nice little Hindu couple who ran the joint went out of their way to give us a nice stay
very old and outdated king size bed with 3 very small pillows.carpeting needed to be replaced. room was very hot when we checked in and didn't get cool until about 3 am. i would not stay there again
air conditioning was poor quality, was hot all night even though air was on high.
location and friendly staff
could use softer mattress for better rest
the location was good
The towel rack didn't stay put nor did the toilet roll holder outside of that everything was good
For being right next to the office ( on a thurs., fri., left on sat.) it was very quiet we were out all day came back to a nice clean room n bath clean towels every time bed was made it was very nice I'd stay again.
I thought the room was a little overpriced for the type of room and the location.
The room was clean but needs some updates.
Hair dryer didn't work,no iron,no hot water, smelled musty, great location for race day,but was a fifty dollar room.I spent three times that
Pictures of hotel & rooms are very deceiving!!!! The room smelled bad , appliances ( microwave ) were disgusting with mold! the bed was not secured as we sat down the whole bed popped up, everything was outdated & very small. Oh & the shower head ...well was only 4 ft tall. I'm 5'5 and had to squat to shower. We will not stay here again!! If your staying in eden nc and you want comfort & quality then pay the few extra $'s and stay at the Hampton !!!
The price was grossly increased due to local event, but quality of facility did even come close. Microwave front was damaged and was taped using electrical tape. Towels were small and almost paper thin. WiFi apparently wasn't connected until we inquired and for a very small facility, the signal was weak and pretty much unusable. Bath/Shower knob was small and not easy to regulate between the hot and cold water.
It was fairly clean.
It was kind of a dump. Our sink broke, our toilet wouldn't flush every time, half the lights worked, phone didn't work, but we didn't care,, it was still fun
I liked the location, it was fairly close to the track, staff was very nice, we really had a great time
Broken toilet seat Toilet very loose from floor Beds were very very soft Too pricey for just a bed and no more
The breakfast was stale & the apple juice tasted old& we woke up to take a shower& it was a cold one also the room smelled stagnant
The bed had plenty of pillows & was comfortable
