It was modern and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The bathroom left a little to be desired. It was not super clean. The bottles of shampoo, body wash were almost empty. Most importantly, there was no exhaust so it was hot and wet without the door open. Obviously, this possed a challenge to get dressed privately.

Oops, see above. Also, the concierge recommended the "Go NY" tour bus. It was terrible!! Every time the guides were rude, the bus was late and the earbuds didn't work so we couldn't even hear the guide! Many people complained over a period of three days.

The staff were so friendly and lovely. I went with my three sisters to celebrate a birthday and they upgraded us to a two bedroomed suite looking at The Empire State building. I cannot speak highly enough of the manager who made this possible.Thank you.

We stayed in this hotel for 1 week at the end of April & had a wonderful time.The location is ideal & very convenient to all sights.The staff was extremely helpful & courteous & as we were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary,they made it an extra special occasion especially Charles,hotel manager & Geof,manager of rooms.Receptionists & Concierge Steve were also very pleasant, helpful & courteous. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to any visitors coming to New York. Thank you for your hospitality.

Unfortunately as renovations were being carried out, the roof terrace was closed but we appreciate this was beyond the control of management.

Loved your decorations featuring child like drawings in Lobby and on pillows in bedroom. A place to leave luggage before checking in and out. Location is perfect. Breakfast room is outstanding esp. orange juice.

Needed a few more kitchen items. Would prefer a bathroom sink area with more room for toothpaste, combs, etc. Sheets & pillows for sofa bed.

The location was great, easy to get around town on foot and was in great area. Staff very friendly!

Everything was perfect (suite was very clean, our sofa bed was comfortable, my parents' room was huge, windows could be opened, price was very reasonable, fantastic location) except...

Some neighbors were noisy, but the hotel staff resolved the problem in a very satisfactory manner. We will gladly return.

Hotel staff were very friendly and the hotel was in a great location. The rooms were well decorated and the beds were extremely comfortable. The fitness room was also good.

There were only two lifts which wasn't really enough to service all the floors/rooms, and no option to use stairs to go up to rooms. The bathroom sink surround wasn't very big so not much room for toiletries.For the price of the room I would have liked free wi-fi in the room rather than just in the lobby.

Very nice hotel.Lovely room with a view of empire state building. Bed very comfortable and big. Bathroom facilities excellent.Location very good 5 mins walk to grand central and 10 mins to macys. Very easy to sleep no problem with noise from traffic. Staff excellent,friendly and very helpful. especially front office staff and concierge They moved us to a different room with a better view after the first night which was very nice.Overall a very pleasant experience and would definetely stay there again if in new york

Spacious and clean room (we stayed four persons in a suite), excellent location (as most hotels in Manhattan, south of Central Park) and friendly staff. The main bed was surprising comfortable, better than most other beds we have ever slept in.

amazing hotel..with superb staff...gorgeous restaurant downstairs..Rare Grill...this is a must visit hotel..our second stay at this hotel and will certainly return!!!

I am still unsure as to why I have a charge on my Visa card for $51. I used this card when I checked in to the hotel but the other card I used to prepay for the hotel was booked for the stay. I will be calling to clarify this charge with the hotel. Too many fees for this hotel stay.
