The room and king bed
I booked a king bed and when I got there they were booked out don't need to overbook
The simplicity and efficiency
Small desk staff. And not welcoming
It was close to my destination.
The room was located under the gym so at 6am all we herd we're tread mills and dumb bells shaking our room. Told desk they said oh well.
It was affordable and had a nice lobby where you could get food or drinks at the Starbucks and bar. One of the young employees in the engineering dept took my call for linens, as housekeeping was closed. He ran me up linens ASAP! Wish I could remember his name. A great person!
The front desk tried to offer me another room instead of the one I booked and was not too friendly about it. The room I had booked was not supplied with linens and I had to call Housekeeping, but they were closed for the night! Someone from engineering finally came to the rescue! Parking fees are always a bummer.

Corporate park setting not conducive to an after dinner walk to a cafe or any night life other than what you see in the lobby. Lobby is nice with TVs and PCs. Need to drive to get anywhere.

Staff were very friendly and outgoing, they made the place. I was impressed by them.
The hot tub was nice and hot, but it needs some updating. The water return/filter entry section needs a serious cleanup.. from water level you look directly into it and it makes you wonder if you really want to be in there. The second negative was they had had a water leak in the 4th floor hallway, the repair man broke out the ceiling tile and left the ceiling open with ladder and a mess on the floor for over 24 hours. After that period the ceiling tile was replaced and the ladder removed, but the mess on the floor was left. I suppose maybe he thought house keeping would take care of it for him. Then because there was no clean up the broken up ceiling tile bits were tracked all over the floor. Someone should invest in a tarp. it would have at the very least caught the mess so that clean up of the entire floor area all the way to elevators would not have occurred. don't know if this was a outside contractor or in house maintenance.. But wasn't impressed by it.

The fact that my key failed to work on both my check in and check out out day (prior to actual check out).
Called for room service at 10:15 pm said it would be 30 min. 45 min later I called said it was on its way. An hour later I called it's still on its way. One hour and 15 min later I called front desk to ask for a manager to discuss the room service issue, Geoffry answered the phone. He was not only rude but hung up on me! When I called back asking if he hung up on me he said he was trying to connect to room service at the same time. When I asked for his name he refused to give it to me until the 4th time I asked. When I asked for his last name he said, "It's just Geoffry that's all you need to know." I said I would discuss this with the day manager. I then called room service and cancelled my order which was 2 hours late! I checked out the next day without talking to a manager because I was in a time crunch.

For us the location was excellent as we wanted to be near Newton. Easy access to the I 95. It may not be the best for Downtown Boston tourism. Rooms are very spacious with all facilities except fridge.
We'd reserved a king but got a double, with no mention of the change at check in. The bed was really bad -- it seemed like all the springs in the mattress had given out.
