the area is quite but may be hearing shwer or bathroom from other rooms.
Rooms were spacious Hallways were quiet even though hotel had 2 weddings and was at capacity
Room wasn't ready, had to wait an hour and a half after it was supposed to be ready
The Starbucks crew were great. The good from both there and room service were excellent.
The fact that my key failed to work on both my check in and check out out day (prior to actual check out).
Called for room service at 10:15 pm said it would be 30 min. 45 min later I called said it was on its way. An hour later I called it's still on its way. One hour and 15 min later I called front desk to ask for a manager to discuss the room service issue, Geoffry answered the phone. He was not only rude but hung up on me! When I called back asking if he hung up on me he said he was trying to connect to room service at the same time. When I asked for his name he refused to give it to me until the 4th time I asked. When I asked for his last name he said, "It's just Geoffry that's all you need to know." I said I would discuss this with the day manager. I then called room service and cancelled my order which was 2 hours late! I checked out the next day without talking to a manager because I was in a time crunch.
the staff in front desk. and charged for parking.
Convenience to highways and local businesses.
Having to pay for parking. Finding empty beer bottles in the trash.
Hotel was two exits from a T station and extremely convenient.
Cost of hotel parking...but it's only a fraction of parking in Boston
no free parking
For us the location was excellent as we wanted to be near Newton. Easy access to the I 95. It may not be the best for Downtown Boston tourism. Rooms are very spacious with all facilities except fridge.
We'd reserved a king but got a double, with no mention of the change at check in. The bed was really bad -- it seemed like all the springs in the mattress had given out.
Required parking fee should be incorporated in the rate.
The pool was nice. The location was good. The room was clean. The staff was polite.
No hot water in the morning. We had to call for towels as there were two in the room for a party of five. We had to call for linens for the second bed. There really wasn't enough sleeping space for five people, even though we had to pay extra for the Mini Suite. They actually charge their guests to park which blew my mind! Their were two televisions in the "suite" but only one remote. The restaurant is borderline robbery as we had 2 burgers, one quesadilla, one grilled cheese, and an order of fish and chips, plus sodas and it cost over $100 dollars. I could see the cost if the restaurant or the food were fancy in any way, but it wasn't.
New and clean. Great value
$12 a day for parking
Excellent location. Very pleased with the accessibility to computers and the parking facility. Will definitely recommend and stay there again!
Front reception did not have my reservation. Causing confusion. Fortunately I had a printed copy of the reservation. Manager became involved. I was quoted 2 different prices. Offered $239- $279 and then my credit card was charged $300+. Not sure I would ever stay at this hotel again.
Efficient, friendly staff
Friendly, helpful staff,
Maid service did not get to our room until late afternoon when we were back to rest and clean up for dinner. She gave us clean towels but was not able to clean up the room as her shift was over.
Room cleanliness, bed linens very comfortable, excellen handicap parking
We hate starbucks coffee so we had to go out to get a decent cup of coffee. Result- you lost all meal revenue.
Clean, quite, excellent location to the "T" to get in and out of the City of Boston!
other than being locked out of the pool-having to go to the front desk to get a pool key, AND having both room keys locking us out of our room...and AGAIN having to go to the front desk to be escorted to our room (because our ID was locked inside our room)-our stay was great! Just an inconvenience to have to go to the front desk in our bathing suits...
Most of the staff was very friendly, some were a little to "all rules." The shuttle service was actually quite nice and unexpected. I also really liked the open concept for the bar/restaurant - it was very welcoming.
The rate seemed a bit high for being so far outside Boston w/o direct access to a subway/train. My keys kept demagnatizing, so I had to have keys remade a few times.
We were upgraded and received complimentary breakfast. The staff was very professional and friendly
