Score from 34 reviews Excellent
We were in town for a show at the performing arts center so the location couldn't have been better. The bed was wonderful!
The grout around the tub needed a little attention. Could use some cleaning.
The food. The internet. The bed.
Bad service. Bad additudes. Security guards are rude.
The bed is very comfortable. Room is clean.
Staff at front aren't very helpful. Food a bit pricey. Weekend isn't a good time to stay due to, it's so hard to find parking close by plus they'll charge $10 even when you park next to the meter.
The food & drinks were pretty good. Roomservice was great! Fast and friendly. Very busy that night with a wedding & Cirque de Solei so staff was stretched to the limit and then some.
When we first checked in, the line was horribly long and only 2 people working customer service. I paid for a Junior Suite so my husband and I could enjoy a much needed date night before working a wedding show the next day.The person who checked me in seemed to take awhile and then asked if I would like an upgrade with an ajoining room. I told her I didn't need one b/c it was just my husband & I- she said- "don't worry! It's an upgrade & it's on the 14th floor!" We excitedly get to our room to see this "upgrade" - to find it's a regular room, has one tiny bathroom & the ajoining room STUNK so bad we had to close that door. We tried for about 2 hours to tell someone how unacceptable this was, but no one from guest services would answer the phone, and the line down at the counter was still horrible. My husband suggested we wait & have some drinks, and by the time I finally found someone, we were so tired that we didn't want to move our bags & just delt with it. The staff was stretched beyond their limits & there should be a stand by schedule for times like these. The next day we were given attitude about complaining until housekeeping came up & verified that the furniture had just been refinished and IT WAS VARNISH THAT WE SMELLED ALL NIGHT. nice. We were given half off our room, which equaled to a standard room price, which was what we essentially had. WILL NEVER EVER STAY HERE AGAIN. I honestly believe they sold out of the room I reserved & tried to cover for it by saying I got an upgrade. In NO way was this an upgrade from a Jr. Suite.
everything was awesome the front desk amber was generous helpful smiling and happyshe was very helpful with us to make sure that we were comfortable
Employees were very nice and Housekeepers were very nice and they do a good job.
Bad batteries in my TV remote and not heat. I called the Front Desk 3 times. They were helpful but it took 4 hours for an engineer to fix the remote and get us warm.
Room clean spacious lots of hot water. Staff was pleasant and helpful.
Hotel was fine and I supplied a review at their request
Getting a second review request from you
staff was great and help fix room reservations that was messed up from on line. food was good at the banquet I attended.
Option on valet, pretty friendly, updated hotel amenities.
Was ignored by what looked like a front desk manager (taller gentlemen with short gelled hair) while waiting in line. The nice lady behind the desk was helping someone before us so we waiting behind them. The manager was in front of the desk and made eye contact with my girlfriend and I. Another guest, a "more mature" looking women came into the lobby. The manner was quick to ask if she needed anything and then walked behind the desk to help her. I assumed it was because my girlfriend and I did not look as proper as the other women, so he decided not to help us first. Whatever his reason was, I did not see it as very professional. I work for a large hospitality industry in the lower 48, and my colleagues would agree that the manager is there to help all PAYING guests in the same manor, and that setting a great first impression is one of the highest priority's. I felted a little judged, and ignored at the very least. Beyond that minor aggravation the trip was pleasant. I would however consider another hotel, if available for the same cost.
location, friendly staff
to many tour groups for breakfast buffet, hard to get menu service
From the hotel itself to the staff, particularly the housekeeping staff our stay was both comfortable and enjoyable. We will be back!
No shuttle from the airport, almost switched hotels due to that fact alone. But we ended up staying almost a week with the Sheraton. Get a shuttle!!!!!
Extremely comfortable beds.
Location was okay. Would have been nicer closer to ocean...
The room was clean and very comfortable.
Parking was $10.00 a day and internet access in your room was $9.95 a day. I have never seen that at any other hotel I've stayed, including in Anchorage.
Stayed on club floor and for the extra money there was no value. Breakfast at th Club Lounge was overcrowded and breakfast had to be taken standing as no tables available. Food was subb standard. Also hours for Club Lounge far too restrictive.
Good rooms with extensive views. Willing and helpful staff who always tried their best, particularly in minimising kitchen problems
Management leadership was lacking, particularly in menu choice and speed of delivery of food for most meals.
old building terrible breakfast
We like the staff they were very helpfull
Very old Design
front desk staff very friendly, all staff very nice, they put our fish in freezer, room was clean but very short staff.
room was not ready at 3pm and we had to wait another hour, lost luggage was misplaced for a number of hours and the club floor lounge was worst I have seen at any hotel and breakfast nothing worked, was unattended and very dirty. I walked out and went down the street for coffee. for the money very poor quality.
Nice lobby. Good view from bedrooms
Achorage hotels are expensive!
Pretty spendy for less than amazing and bartender at hotel bad was, though doing her best for a giant crowd, incredibly slow. My guess would have been not the normal staff for a Saturday.
Location, spectacular view, offer to omit daily room cleaning for $5 hotel credit, breakfast, staff
