Room was a little small
The customer service from the staff
I had to call the maintenance person due to air conditioning issues. The response was quick and fixed the issue right away.
Easy access to public transportation which is the only way to get around the city easily. Traffic is hectic at all hours.
Room was hot and all attempts to get the system to cool the room failed. Thermostat was set at 68 and room stayed at around 77 to 80.
Everything was adequate or better. Rooms were clean and well appointed.
Wish internet were free
Love the city no hassle with the hotel.
WiFi in the rooms needs to be purchased extra. Very noisy AC system.
Everything, except for the two points below.
Disappointed that room wasn't ready for 3.00pm check-in - especially after long flight and taxi ride. Reason of "you had too many criteria (room with view; away from elevators)" did not make me feel better - there was plenty of time to sort the room considering checkout is at 11.00am. Would be nice if hotel offered some sort of pre-arranged collection service from airport. Another down point was having to pay for wifi! Seemed outrageous considering the brand of hotel and given the age we live in (wifi is widely promoted and available in UK). No 'normal' (English Breakfast) tea in room.
I liked the location - close to Metro stations; 20 mins walk from Brooklyn Bridge (I didn't realise how close it was); shops literally round the corner; from my room (with a view) I could see the Statue of Liberty (in the distance of course) :) Staff were friendly and helpful; always happy and willing to help. Thank you. Despite the not so nice comments - it was overall a good stay - considering I only really used the room for sleep. :) Room got nice and cosy in the afternoon sun. There was iron and ironing board! Yey.
Location is not the best. Street in front of hotel is narrow with lots of construction going on around it. Taxi drivers have a hard time finding it. Not an area that is comfortable to walk around at night.
The price was reasonable and the accommodations were clean and comfortable.
Ordered a crib that took 3hours to arrive.
Hotel is like new, professional, corporate (Which is good), excellent. Excellent, possibly the best balanced accomodation in New York, taking price vs location into account. Close to 3 subways, 10 mins into Manhattan.
I requested a taxi from the front desk and was directed to a taxi parked outside the hotel. The price for this taxi was more than TWICE what we paid for the rest of the taxi trips to and from our work site throughout the duration of the stay. No indication of the excessive price was given ahead of time - I was led to believe that I was being provided with a standard taxi. I would not use the Sheraton's taxi service; walk to the end of the block and hail your own taxi.
Overall great experience.
Wifi is not included.
The location is very good. The metro is only one block away if you want to go to Manhatten, and the neigborhod had surprisingly many ok places to eat.
WIFI FEE EXPENSIVE SERVICES WITH THE PRIVATE CAR COMPANIES THEY ARE VERY EXPENSIVE ( there is a deal with the hotel's staff ) you will pay this deal when you use this private company
LOCATION SERVICES COMFORT CLOSE TO DIFFERENT TUBE STATIONS AND RESTAURANT
Room was not warm enough.
Staff, food, room, bed, room full equiped.Everything was just very good.
Parking is a huge pain and very expensive
Bad sewer smell upon entering the room. Poor cleaning of room at times, dependant on who was housekeeping.
Excellent location especially convenient for subway stations to get various lines to different parts of manhatten. 10-30 mins depending on where would like to go. Nice place to return after a day out in the fast pace of manhatten. Staff would all be in fantastic mood and were always ready to make our stay the best possible. smiley happy place.
Restaurant/Bar not well done. Noisy and poor menu.
Staff is very good.
I could hear other guests slamming the doors. Disturbing at night.
We stayed for one night only and it is absolutely suitable for a short stay.
Everything! A great hotel simply stays out of your way by helping you when needed, even if its simply leaving one nothing to complain about. I will be back!
Had to go next door for microwave because they don't have one and their only snack machine was broken.
I loved the comfort of the bed and the room was a decent size for a hotel in Brooklyn ny
Excellent room with fantastic view
The food was bad especially the Cesar wrap and French fries I ordered that had lettuce that wasn't fresh smh cold and stale French fries way over price very disappointed would never eat their smh .
the hotel it's self was beautiful I must give them that but the area I would recommend if your trying to come out and shop your in the center of it all down Brooklyn and that's one thing I loved the walking distance of everything
Just about everything except The Loft next door closed before 9pm. I live in nc and things stay open longer than that. Valet tried to double charge us for parking the car. Not many bars/clubs/activities near, just shopping.
There was a large amount of stores just down the street in walking distance. The staff was friendly enough, and the elevators need a valid room key to move. Loved it.!
I broke out in a rash on my elbows and lower back
staff was very kind
