We chose this hotel because it had an indoor pool for our children and was close to the museums. The cost was exorbitant for the value. The room was dated and small, especially for 4 people, and valet parking was $51, not $42 as the information online stated. Wi fi, breakfast and most everything else cost extra. Cleanliness was lacking as there were hairs in the sink and tub and bathroom floor when we arrived. Some staff were friendly and helpful but a few acted as if we were bothering them with our questions.

Great location and facility. Spacious and clean room. Excellent service. Bed is very comfortable. Restaurants are nice. The bar is only open till 11pm and the choices of food and snack are not many. Parking is too expensive. Internet is not free.

Being right downtown and the georgeous view of the river and city. The rooms were very nice but the windows needed to be cleaned. Enjoyed the renovated room. My aunt retired back to our room early and the key did not work. Unfortunalely the staff would not let her into the room or give her another key as the reservation was in my name. I had her I.D. on my person and all they had to do was open the room to let her show her I.D. The reservation was for three guests. She had to wait in the lobby for over an hour for my return.

We do not stay in higher-scale hotels (Holiday Inn Express is about our family's level), so I deeply appreciated your staff's patience and amusement with my unfamiliarity with upscale services. When our children were little, immediately following 9/11, we stayed at your Sheraton and had a great experience. Although my husband elected to stay with you while impressing his clients via a business trip, I was pleased to have the opportunity to come back a decade later and stay again. I would not choose to stay in another hotel, money permitting, anywhere else in Chicago. It's a great city; you run a fine hotel. Hopefully we'll be able to afford to come back in another 10 years. We felt that in 2012 that there was no free wifi in the room was disappointing (but we carry a verizon remote access device, so that was ok).

I wanted to take my frieds to chicago. They loved the hotel I choose. I wanted location and price, I did not know that parking was extra. You should let people know that. They extra money for parking plus not any room in the bar area

I liked the location, it was very convenient to Navy Pier, where I was attending a conference. When I got there the first night, they said they were 'overcommited' and that they were going to need me to stay in a room the first night different than the room the other nights. When I got up to the room they intended for me, it was a dang conference room, with a rollaway twin bed. I had prepaid for 3 nights, they had had my $$ for days, and they gave my room away? That is amazing! And not in a good way.

I used to be a club mbr and wish I could be again, but I don't use the sheraton hotels like I used to mainly due to a job change years ago. We enjoyed Chicago and staying at the Sheraton, it was relaxing, central to everything and in a beautiful and safe area. I will definitely plan on coming again to Chicago again. I've been through Chicago before on the interstate and we stayed once near the train depot back in1989 for an overnite and didn't get to see Chicago just a brief trip to the Sears Tower. Even that has changed so much. Staying at the Sheraton was a real treat. I can say enough about the hotel. Our view was terrific and the pool was great. Very minor, I called to coffee cups as the housekeeper didn't leave any on the second day of our stay; they said they would leave some in our room, but didn't.

Lost our reservation then found it after we waited at the desk for 45 minutes. Offered no concession or apology. Expected luxury, got ordinary. No newspaper, no mints, no fridge etc... Concierge was not helpful, very curt. Store was closed every time I checked. Wireless only free in lobby, otherwise $13 per day. Self park cost $37 per night. Wouldn't stay there again. Booked a King/double room, but they didn't have one, got 2 doubles, no difference in price.
