I like the quietness of the hotel
I don t like the overcharges that come after
My teen daughter and I had a overall good experience for the weekend. Clean and great location. Staffs were friendly and helpful.
I had joyed there awards program and was suppose to get free wifi but it did not work. It was late so did not bother to call front desk.
From the doorman and valet team, to the receptionists, to the cleaning and security crew, the Sheraton staff provided courteous, over-the-top service and luxury. I booked a room via an online discount program because the organization for which I worked used the hotel for our annual fundraising event (which the hotel staff team also supported above and beyond expectations!). An added bonus: that bed was the most comfortable thing I've ever experienced in my life! :) Thank you, Sheraton.
I was very sad to discover that even self-parking at the hotel is typically $51 per night (which was almost half of the cost of what I paid for the room)! Apparently, the problem isn't with the hotel; the garage is owned by the City. If there is any way for Sheraton to purchase that lot from the City and charge overnight clients a more reasonable rate, I believe it would be a benefit to all involved.
i liked the friendliness of the staff and the room had a nice view.
it was difficult because I booked my hotel with Booking.com but they couldn't find my reservation, but since they had open rooms they honored my price and booked me a room. This was great until the next morning when I realized I was charged twice, one from the booking.com and the other from the hotel. When I inquired about it, I was told that one charge would fall off my bill in 10 business days. This is frustrating to me.
Never had our mini fridge open despite asking two days in a row.
Room service continuously made mistakes on my orders----need to be able to order room service in the lobby bar not just snacks
Location, view on the river, lobby, bed very comfortable, relatively big bathroom
No bathrobe in the room (would have been nice to go to the indoor pool), you can hear your next door neighboors
The confort,the ambiance
Paid for the minibar nonsense
Location is good, close to Navy Pier. Many Restaurants around and walk able to many location.
The bed is super comfy and the whol place is super super clean
The size of the room and valet services
Easy location, worth the price.
Pay for WiFi, really? Come on!
The excellent view of the city
The weather and the beds in the asigned room.
Perfect mini vacation
Location Spacious room Bedding
I signed up for the "club" on the top floor . We were VERY disappointed. Full of teen agers and kids. Adults dressed in pajama pants . The appetizers on a sort of buffet setting ransacked at 5:30 PM. I got a refund down stairs. No questions asked
Greeting staff was great. Bed was extremely comfortable. Pool and workout facilities were lovely.
Had to change rooms due to noisy group on our floor. Second room was not "reset" when we got there. Missing toiletries, and mini bar items. Bell hop was pushy.
The location is great, and the staffs there were very helpful. They also helped us find cheaper tickets of NBA game online and gave us several useful travel tips!!! Great Great Great choice to stay at Sheraton Chicago hotel and tower.
If the wifi in the room is free, it would be perfect.
I don't know if it was Booking.coms' fault, but the hotel did TRY to blame this SITE for our room NOT being available or even having that type of room. Didn't upgrade us for the inconvenience and wait time, (Like a proper hotel should) Instead gave us a tiny room with one full bed for 4 PEOPLE! I didn't stand for it and made a scene and called a manager to fix it. After waiting another hour they gave us a bigger room but still no view or what we paid for. Worst hotel experience and i will never go to a Sheraton again.
The location and views were wonderful. The health club and pool were a plus for getting out the kids energy. Hopefully they have deals during the summer time too, full price would not be a choice for us.
The person at check in told our 12 yr old that she would give him free wi - fi and when we checked out we found out that he was not approved for the full speed, but the lower level. That was never discussed, she just said free wi fi for him. They ended up charging us a lesser fee, but free would have been better since that is what she told him. Need to be more clear on what free wi fi means.
The location is great whether you are traveling for business purposes or as a tourist. Many major attractions are closely located. The staff is very friendly and the hotel provides a lot of great tips for restaurants and breakfast locations.
No free wi-fi in the guestrooms. Some parts of the hotel seem a little bit dated e.g. the doors (very thin, very old) or the front desk (a lot of scratches in the wood from guests and their luggage/ bags). My room wasn't well isolated against noises from the floor or the neighbours rooms.
the entire hotel was amazing, the room was really well cleaned.
After having paid for the reservation, I find it extremely perplexing as to why the wifi has a charge of close to $20.00. If small coffee shops and restaurants can have free wifi, Im sure an established hotel like the Sheraton can have free wifi as well.
I stayed in a club room for two nights, so I could access to the club. The club with great city view offering foods and drinks has sufficient seats for everyone even on New Year's Eve crowded with people.
You'll have to walk 3 blocks for main CTA bus line (Michigan Avenue), and a long distance for CTA trains.
The view was great. The staff was always helpful.
I can get free wifi at my supermarket but the hotel where I dropped $1k I have to pay for it?
The location is the reason that made me choose here, beds and comfort living areas are bonuses
Easy person, nothing that I didn't like about
Everything but the staff
Most of the staff was very rude, but not all of them
