The bed, and especially the pillows, were extremely comfortable. The view was beautiful.
I was not able to turn my thermostat below 72°so at some points was a little warm. Also, the coffee packs seem to be too large of a volume for the coffeemajer yielding in very strong coffee, with very little creamer to compensate.
The staff was super friendly! The rooms were awesome and beautiful.
The room above us was loud and unruly at 3am, but that is not the hotels fault! It was also quite confusing there was not a lot of signage as to where particular places were located.
had room overlooking the Chicago River.
I DID LIKE THE STAFF AND THE COMFORT OF THE BED.
I DIDN'T LIKE THAT I HAVE TO PAY FOR EITHER THE PARKING AND WIFI !!
Location is good close to many things to see and do
For the price rooms should be a lot nicer
Perfect location. Very clean, good service, helpful staff.
No wifi in the room and poor wifi connection in the lobby
Location and only location
Staff unfriendly always busy. you can hardly the smile in their faces They never answer when ever you call the councerge, requesting the guests to come down for any query.
Starbucks coffee in room. Curteous maids.
No cafeteria or place for breakfast other than room service.
No hot tub
Liked the view on the river.
As this reservation was for my parents and one was having b'day I requeste an amenity. They had a do not disturb, however it was not followed-up next day and I had to call..
We have stayed here before. Chose again because Booking had a great rate. We had a great view and the location made the attractions we visited very accessible. The room was clean and very comfortable.
We had one front desk person that was pleasant. Three other front desk people acted as if we were putting them out by checking in and out and asking questions. There was no one else in line, they were not busy. Did not make us feel welcome after flying in from California. We do like the hotel, but staff could use some customer service refresher training.
Parking too expensive
Location is ideal.
Parking is too expensive. Self park next door. Wifi in the room extra, are u guys serious. Every hotel had this option included and were almost half the price.
Registration lady was very rude. She never made eye contact and seemed bothered by us.
The location was ideal for our weekend plans: walking distance to Mag Mile, Navy Pier, etc. Love the bed; slept like a baby!
I was a little disappointed in the view from our room. I had requested a lake view and we saw a sliver of the lake from our room. To be fair, we were told at check-in that it was a partial view.
I paid for my breakfast that was already included to my booking Reception didn't know that there was a shuttle bus to the airport
Location was very good only parking was expensive 48 $
No free wifi (except in Lobby, which was SLOW) and the parking was expensive.
It was near Millenium and Grant Park, the botanical and The Chicago Art Institute - all popular places. If you are going for shopping it's close the the shops at Northbridge, but not Water Tower Place.
Too far of a walk to do shopping near Water Tower area and/or State St. shopping or restaurants. Also took a cab to Navy Pier.
Excellent location, central and elegant. Beautiful view from the room, big rooms and easy to park
Wireless is not free for guests
Location and price
Room was dirty, hotel needed some upgrades, lack of late night room service... For the money this place is not the bargain it's made out to be, it is slightly cheaper than many of the nicer hotels, but quality and service was not as high as it should of been for what you pay. It was not a dump, but for the price I guess I expected a bit more.. My bathroom was dirty when I checked in, when showering the tub filled up with water (would not drain fast).. There were some other small things that did not ruin my trip by any means, but would have been nice if they were different
They let us change our room location when our air conditioning was less than we desired.
air conditioning was just OK
The staff is great. Friendly, helpful. Beds super comfortable.
Our first room smell of pet urine and our next room smelled like smoke. However, we had a total of three rooms and the other two were fine. Very expensive for everything.
City view river walk
I arrive for checking in they tell me the self parking lot is full they tell me to do a valet parking for $58.their parking sucks for hotel guest.room are small
Ok hotel, but not worth the high price.
There is no wifi in the rooms, only in the lobby. This is not convenient for most travelers these days. Sound insulation in our room very poor, we could hear our neighbors the whole night!
