No hot tub
Liked the view on the river.
As this reservation was for my parents and one was having b'day I requeste an amenity. They had a do not disturb, however it was not followed-up next day and I had to call..
Parking too expensive
Registration lady was very rude. She never made eye contact and seemed bothered by us.
The location was ideal for our weekend plans: walking distance to Mag Mile, Navy Pier, etc. Love the bed; slept like a baby!
I was a little disappointed in the view from our room. I had requested a lake view and we saw a sliver of the lake from our room. To be fair, we were told at check-in that it was a partial view.
I paid for my breakfast that was already included to my booking Reception didn't know that there was a shuttle bus to the airport
No free wifi (except in Lobby, which was SLOW) and the parking was expensive.
Excellent location, central and elegant. Beautiful view from the room, big rooms and easy to park
Wireless is not free for guests
They let us change our room location when our air conditioning was less than we desired.
air conditioning was just OK
The staff is great. Friendly, helpful. Beds super comfortable.
Our first room smell of pet urine and our next room smelled like smoke. However, we had a total of three rooms and the other two were fine. Very expensive for everything.
Ok hotel, but not worth the high price.
There is no wifi in the rooms, only in the lobby. This is not convenient for most travelers these days. Sound insulation in our room very poor, we could hear our neighbors the whole night!
the lobby was cool and our view was lovely. everyone was very courteous even though we were traveling with and 8 and 12 year old. the concierge was very helpful in our adventures out.
traffic was interesting but hardly something in your grasp to control - LOL
Concierge was fantastic. Very helpful with reservations. Shula's was fantastic as well.
Upon returning from breakfast, the staff was cleaning out room. She was not very pleasant and told us we needed to come back even though we only wanted to pick up a camera bag.
This is a great hotel, very well placed on the river in the centre.
few choices for lunch Not free WiFi available at the rooms
Had a club room which entitled us breakfast every morning and appetizers every evening. The views were stunning.
The location is very close to Navy Pier and the trolley is right there. Also a couple of blocks to Michigan Ave.
The mini bar needs to go. Just make it a mini refrigerator and add a microwave. This is a trend I see in most hotels now. A separate mini bar, if really necessary, I suppose would be fine.
The condom under the blanket, hair all over the bathroom
We enjoyed the location and the assistance from the front desk staff on a number of more logistical issues. The room was quiet, the internet fast, and the view superb. Admittedly we were on the top floor. Even on that floor, we had few delays if any with the lifts which was a very strong point.
We had club access and during the "happy hour" period in the evening only non-alcoholic drinks were without charge. This is the first time we have struck this in our international travels. Also the food was limited but having said all of this it was a spot we could sit and relax in at the start and end of the day.
Staff was always pleasant and very helpful. We were given excellent directions to the sites we wanted to see. Food was good.
Food was very pricey at the two places we ate. One morning the housekeeping staff woke us up trying to get in our room to clean.
Asked for a nice fancy dinner, they sent me to a place that served food in baskets, which we found out when we got there and I was in a blazer and my girlfriend was in heals and a dress. We then proceeded to go to the Palms, but the food there wasn’t much better. Other then the miss information form the concierge the stay was nice.
location and comfort
Location was good. We took the "L" which was just a few blocks away to the cubs game. $3/person is an awesome deal! Cab fare back wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. People in Wrigleyville are always awesome. Downtown people were awesome as well. The pubs and restaurants downtown were great as well. Sheraton hotel and Towers personnel were very helpful with what ever questions we had. We are already planning our 2015 weekend to Chicago and plan on staying at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers again. The beds were also very comfortable. I was truly surprised by that.
Shower head in our bathroom was spraying over the shower curtain rod. Made for kind of a mess :(
The location was great. The room was clean.
I requested a king room on the river side of the hotel. I received an email stating my request would be honored but when I checked in there were no king rooms available so we had to be in a room with two twin beds.
The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Most sites were within an easy walking distance. Room was quite large.
Bathroom needed updating. Bathtub did not drain. Charging for Wi-Fi was not appreciated but when I complained to the front desk, the charges were waived.
