The concierge desk staff were great. Everything that was recommend turned out to be excellent choices.
View of the river (especially at night) Michael (the first person to greet you with such a great welcome getting out of the taxi!), comfortable beds and quality sheets
Toileteries a bit cheap and not always replaced daily
Overall room was clean but had slight odor of cigarette smoke
Found a dirty cocktail on the window sill behind the curtain while I was using the computer. Bathroom floor had spilled coffee stains when I checked in and stains on the inside of the bathroom door near the bottom(yuck).
Excellent staff. Good location
about 10 minutes walk from a gourmet takeout supermarket across the river, "Mario's" and 10 minutes from Jazz Records. Eqi-distance from the Contemporary Arts Museum and the Chicago Arts Institute
Staff was friendly and helpful.Explained billing and some services available.Waived Wi-Fi fee which was big plus.
Housekeeping was nowhere to be found.Left room early and came back late.Room was just as we left it and had to reuse towels.
The hotel throughout was very clean which is very important for us. Also very comfortable and an excellent location.
We thought charging $18.95 per day for wifi in the rooms was very mean considering the cost of staying at the Sheraton. We travelled by car through five states during our vacation and stayed in five other hotels. We found staff in all other hotels more friendly and wifi was free in all of them.
easy walking to Mag Mile and Navy Pier.
Didn't expect to have to pay for drinks on the Club level.
Everything was within walking distance. Great view of the river and city.
Having to wait for our room. They gave us a temporary room but still had to wait for our room.
The bed was the most comfortable mattress we have ever slept on!! We had the pleasant surprise of being upgraded to a suite with a river and lake side, what a treat! The staff were all very pleasant. Had a bit if a mix up getting keys to work but with a bit if patience it got sorted out. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay :)
As soon as we walked in, it was like walking into a castle! It was so beautiful, I picked the hotel for my boyfriend and I to stay and he was so impressed, that for the next 2 weekends he was trying to impress me even more! We were so glad it was within walking distance of Navy Pier, that's the first time I seen navy pier at night, it was so romantic, on the sea dog cruise at night, the woman speaking on the sea dog was commenting on the Sheraton, she asked if any of us were staying there tonight and I raised my hand, she said, I knew you were a classy woman! My boyfriend and I just laughed!
Nothing! Everything was perfect! I wanted a romantic weekend, and that's what I got!
The bed, and especially the pillows, were extremely comfortable. The view was beautiful.
I was not able to turn my thermostat below 72°so at some points was a little warm. Also, the coffee packs seem to be too large of a volume for the coffeemajer yielding in very strong coffee, with very little creamer to compensate.
The staff was super friendly! The rooms were awesome and beautiful.
The room above us was loud and unruly at 3am, but that is not the hotels fault! It was also quite confusing there was not a lot of signage as to where particular places were located.
They didn't give me the bill (or any another payment document) confirming that I payed for the room there. It was pure and direct refusal. All I heard was "get it from booking.com where you had booked it". Now I have issues with finance report on my business trip. Weird!
had room overlooking the Chicago River.
Great location particularly if you are visiting Navy Pier. Clean comfortable room with great view of the lake.
The wait to check in or check out. Be prepared to spend $300/day for room and parking fee.
It is not possible to contact hotel staff and they are not accessible in the morning and afternoon.Buffet breakfast was included in our package through booking.com but the offered breakfast was not a breakfast but only few snacks which was named as breakfast.
I DID LIKE THE STAFF AND THE COMFORT OF THE BED.
I DIDN'T LIKE THAT I HAVE TO PAY FOR EITHER THE PARKING AND WIFI !!
Location is good close to many things to see and do
For the price rooms should be a lot nicer
Perfect location. Very clean, good service, helpful staff.
No wifi in the room and poor wifi connection in the lobby
Location and only location
Staff unfriendly always busy. you can hardly the smile in their faces They never answer when ever you call the councerge, requesting the guests to come down for any query.
Centrally located, on site eateries and bar, friendly staff, all make this a great stay. Fun to have a river view to see all the boats up and down the river.
Valet parking at $56/night seems steep, self parking at $49/night is equally painful. Went to get car from valet and you have to go to basement garage to get car.
Starbucks coffee in room. Curteous maids.
No cafeteria or place for breakfast other than room service.
The room was kept clean. Excellent job of housekeeping. The beds were comfortable and a nice shower.
They would not give us a discount for being at the Arlington horse races which other hotels will.
No hot tub
