Hotel its quite busy( little chaotic feel), I think internet charge - wifi should be part of the cost of the room..... Most hotels offer nowdays free wifi!. Also I stayed in the bedroom where there is a direct view onto the busy street and there were no curtains.(?) I think its a must for the room with such an open view.

No hot tub.
We book two Queen beds, they did not have what they advertise, we told them we travel with a crib, they even offer a crib for Free, there is no space, no room at all for a crib. The beds were double beds not Queen beds. There was no room for alternatives either, you get what they want to give you whether you like it or not. No mini refrigerator, no coffee machine, no wifi, no nothing, it is clearly the most unpleasant please I have ever stayed at in 43 years of traveling locally and globally. I do not recommend this place, I can't even call it a hotel. Bad, bad, bad.
The location is one of the best in san francisco. Really close to the piers and also to the cable cart Mason's stop.

Staff were willing to accomodate me on 2nd night to a much quieter room.
I was charged 6.47 dollars fro Internet access even though I had a card showing Free Internet. I didn't like my first night as I was in a room (3521) noise from street too much

Travelling with family you learn to appreciate help from bell boys load and unload luggage. No one was available to help. Bad beds with springs sticking in your back.
Bright cheery decor and comfortable furnishings in the room.
Very nice, spacious room with a big comfy bed. Everything was clean throughout the hotel and staff were helpful and friendly. Quite well situated 5 mins from Fishermans Wharfe.
Didn't think the breakfast offered good value.

We were very close to Pier 39 and within easy walk to Pier 33 for catching the trip to Alcatraz

The room was located on the corner of a busy junction and the noise from the traffic throughout the night kept us awake. Also because of the location of the room it meant that we couldn't have the curtains open

Promotion offering $5 off spend on purchases at coffee shop if you agree to forego sheets and towels being changed daily - actually meant room did not get serviced. Bed was not made, and coffee/tea facilities were not replaced. Needs to be made clearer. Request for taxi resulted in push to take private transport instead for $20. Turned out trip only really worth $7-$8. Felt like I was caught up in a "scheme" between hotel and transport operator.
After showering I grabbed a folded towel to dry off my face and it smelled when I looked at it there was makeup all over it...No compensation just new towels were brought Also 55 bucks a day for parking was outrageous

Good size room once I rejected the first offer (a ground floor box of a room they tried to put me in that smelt of smoke)....this made me wonder why I usually have to complain to get the standard of room I think I have booked online? However as I said I was then given a 2nd floor - lovely sized room. The hallways in the hotel could do with a major uplift - décor is very tired. However the reception area is nice and the wi fi easy to access down there. The pool was lovely and our stay was very enjoyable at this hotel -

This hotel was very convenient to the wharf area, shopping and restaurants. Staff very helpful.
Pillows too soft and went flat when you put your head on them. Asked for firmer ones and got 4 more the same. Room cramped and just had the basics. Overpriced for what you get but guess you pay for the location.
